Understand Eugene O'Neill and his Carlotta, and you'll understand The Phantom of the Opera, and why Christine (the human representation of Carlotta's innocent and unknowing childhood) is nicknamed "Little Lotte" by the human representation of her childhood-experienced love.
I have seen this play many times with different players and it was excellent every time. Thanks for uploading it.

I found out a few years ago I’m related to her. My biological mother is an O’Neill and the family resemblance is uncanny.

The sound quality is impossible. Can't hear a word clearly. The actors are AMAZING and offer a brilliant interpretation of the script BUT we ( in the video audience) can't bloody hear them. Even close caption can't pick them up. Damn !!! Such a shame, too, as this is the ONLY on-line performance of this play, one of O'Neil's three most important plays (Journey and Long Day's). Why such disrespect from CZcams ?
