Spirit had orders for the A319neo as a replacement for the A319 but converted all those orders into the A321neo instead.
Yes! The cancellation of the order was a big blow for the program, as the A319neo didn’t get that much of interest compared to the A319ceo!

Awesome video! In August, I flew with JetBlue when I went to Florida for 3 nights. I flew from Boston to Orlando on August 24th I flew back to Boston on August 27th. So I’m glad I came home before the hurricane.

Lamentablemente American cerró la ruta AUS-SJU en Noviembre 2022. Una ruta que se pasaba llena pero no impresiona ya que American está cancelando varias de Austin, para llegar a Austin los están conectando por DFW.

how i miss working the 190 to san juan we no longer have that plane going there :(
The E190 is a great aircraft and I’m grateful I flew on it many times on jetBlue. It is missed here in SJU, it was a sad day when we learned all the parts and tooling were taken to JFK/BOS with its last flight with no previous warning😢 We weren’t expecting the E190 getting pulled out of SJU that fast🥺
yea it was sad. although some stuff still remain as the 190 is still in the fleet you never know when it can be used as a spare. but after that i was working the island turns on the a320 and 321. i did get the honor to work the first 220 down and did it for 5 days straight. @@sju_planespotter

Excellent vid as always. Fun fact: The reason for the engine spool down at 16:21 is because there is an altitude and speed restriction on that leg on that departure chart (5,000 ft I think). Once passed that leg, the pilot is able to continue to climb, which when you hear the engine spool up again.
