Christmas Vlog 2022 in July 2023?!
Better late than never, here is our Christmas Vlog for 2022... Christmas in July is still a thing right?! No better than the last day of July 2023 even! Haha! This was Benson's first Christmas season in America and first one in Arizona with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. It was so fun to watch him experience all these firsts.

Our Process for International Adoption - from Liberia Africa
zhlédnutí 610Před rokem
We get asked what the process is for international adoption all the time. So here is a quick breakdown of how it went for us. Just a reminder that each country, agency, and orphanage is different so this isn’t how it is for ALL international adoption, but it gives you a rough idea. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them in the comments below or find us on instagram @jessicamandile #...
Why did we choose adoption?

Happy #worldadoptionday We are kicking off our CZcams channel with a small video series answering a few of our most asked questions. The first one that we get asked the most is , “why did you guys choose adoption?” If you are a part of the adoption community, tell us below why you choose adoption, or if you are in the process we’d love to hear all about that too!

A quick movie about how we met and fell in love in high school. Then got a few steps in life out of order and ended up pregnant with our daughter, I was 17 just starting my senior year, and Brian was 18 and had just graduated. We got married a month after finding out we were pregnant, moved out on our own and the rest is history. We are blessed to be one of the few high school couples that have...

Greetings Jessica and Congratulations on your adoption. My wife and I are actually in the process as well and you like you to say a little more about the Form to be file with the USCIS, the requirements and the next step after approval from the Liberia Gender Ministry… is there any email we could reach you through ?
Hello. what was the procedure of adoption please?
Thank you for this very interesting and informative video
Are you all Mormans? Just curious. Thanks!!
❤ How can I contact you. Are you on Facebook or messager? I'm interested in adopting my niece.
Yes! I’m on Facebook and Instagram @jessicamandile I’m not sure if I’ll be able to help, but I can try!
you are an angel. I am from Liberia myself and there’s so much suffering there for the little kids. I am also thinking about adopting a child from there, so God bless you and your beautiful family. You guys will have our harmonious home and everything will work together for good. Thank you so much, my lovely sister.
Thank you for your sweet comment! We fell in love with your beautiful country and plan to go back soon!
You have one new subscriber here from Liberia. Thank you for your channel. Good bless your family.
Welcome! We love your country and hope to be back soon!
Thanks for all that you do for humanity!
I don't do much, just grateful we could make a difference for him.
Thank God for this family. But the saddest thing is, this innocent child doesn't know the country he's coming to. Reason being there's racism here.
Unfortunately you are right, but without educating and bringing awareness it won't ever change either. We hope to make a small difference with the problem by sharing our story. We also plan to go back to Liberia often. ❤
Love the video, the fact you took your whole family it’s amazing❤ Thanks for sharing love🇱🇷
Taking our entire family was the best decision we made. We all came home changed and have a true love for his home country ❤
Are you guys sending for people?
Liberia is a beautiful country. Poverty yes, but the people find a way. And poverty in West Africa is different than USA. The coldest weather anytime is 72 degrees, fruit grows abundantly everywhere. People don't need oversized houses and TVs and a materialistic Babylon lifestyle to be happy. That said, on an individual level, most likely this will be a happy boy. But larger issues of Africa being viewed as needing 'saved' by the West is false, especially after hundreds of years of kidnapping Africans from their continent and stealing their natural resources. Overall, as a matter of public policy, I feel this is not good.
So how did you help the little boy, how are you helping with your negative energy.! You guys are the problem for Africa when other people try to help, then you come up with your 200 years of slavery problem. The boys need help, Liberia kids are suffering poorly and lack of good education, She is helping and stop telling to deem the light that is shining into this little boy's life and find a child to adapt yourself. As Liberians, we are happy that our boy will have a good family. so that he can help his family tomorrow. Thank you.
@@mammietoe2496 You don't speak for all Liberians and certainly not like an educated pan-African. And what I've done and the number of people positively impacted has a lot more $0's on it than this example and not one person got extracted from their homeland into a dangerous foreign place. You sound like an Americo Liberian.
We are aware that Liberia has a different way of providing. We have come back changed because of the humble people we met over there. We plan to go back to Liberia and other West Africa countries to help serve the people there. I understand your concern and thank you for your comment.
@@mammietoe2496 Thank you for your sweet comment. Thankfully we hear from a lot of Liberians that are grateful for what we've done for our our son. We fell in love with your country and your people and can't wait to get back over there. ❤
@@jessicamandileThank you for respecting my POV, which is not entirely absolute given the complexity. There's no doubt you love and protect Benson, and you have a unique and very personal connection to Liberia yourselves now too. You've made a large personal and financial effort for the little boy from the goodness of your pure hearts influenced by your faith as well. As you found, Liberians are amazing resilient people and will always welcome you. Benson can be proud of his new family and his original homeland. I personally 100% directly support 9 Liberian children and this is a blessing beyond any material thing I've ever purchased for myself.
Get tha fuck out of ma shii we don't want u there
I really dislike this, he not your son, the idea that you cant find a kid to adopt in merikkka is hilarious to say the least. Bring back our kids, we not charity
I have mixed opinion on taking a child from Africa to America. America is a dangerous place especially for black males and gun violence impacting everyone, schools, malls etc. It is a blessing to care for the little boy and clearly he will be a treasured part of the family. I hope he can keep a strong connection to Africa.
It is our goal to keep his heritage a strong part of him. We plan to go back often. We are aware the US isn't the safest place, but all we can do is teach him to be strong and trust in God's plan
@@jessicamandile Incidentally, Amazon has various children's books featuring Liberia specifically.
This was all so fun! Sad it’s ending. Look forward to seeing more of your family’s videos/ updates too
Thank you! I hope to get better at making and putting videos up! So stay on me please! Haha!
No wonder I felt so attached to your family since the beginning of the video! I just heard you said you’re member of “The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints” That warms my heart even more. I’ve been a member since childhood in Liberia; served in NY and have lots of added families here around the States. Thought I come back to share that 😂
So that make her trustworthy, if you know their agenda
Thank your for your kind comment! Isn't it amazing how the church can connect so many of us around the world. ❤
This is all bunch of cuteness…❤ I was watching Liberian vlogs and stumbled on this one? You have a beautiful family!
Thank you so much! Liberia is a beautiful country. We fell in love with it.
This is so beautiful. God bless your heart, and your beautiful family. 🙏🏾❤️
😍😍😍😍
Wow thanks for sharing I'm a Liberian CZcamsr too
Awesome! I will have to check out some of your videos. We hope to make it back to Liberia soon, we fell in love with it!
Lots of blessings upon you and your beautiful family always Amen 🙏🏾 😊
Thank you
A big thanks to you and your husband for taking your beautiful kids to Africa ( Liberia 🇱🇷 ). Thanks to you and your family for adopting the lil boy. I’m so happy for Benson. May God almighty bless you all Amen 🙏🏾. I’m a Liberian as well, and I live in Minnesota. I’ve been in the states since 1994.
Thank you! Your comment was so kind. We fell in love with your beautiful home land and hope to get back there soon!
Thank you and your family for giving lil Foday hope, to dream may God bless your family
Thank you ❤
This is disturbing. Really don't understand why these folks aren't adopting children in the US -- lots of kids in foster care.
Instead of complaining about the problem why don’t you adopt? Or setup a system to help with adoption in America.
This is quite funny. I don’t understand what is hard to understand about adoption of kids from poor impoverished country
God bless you 🙏 ❤️
God bless you all
Thank you
Leave out Hebrew children alone. We will never forget about slavery.
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning and for giving little Benson a quality of life. My name is Elijah Washington. I live in Michigan like you and work at Angela Hospice in Livonia. I would like to personally reach out and express my appreciation
Wow! Thank you for your kind comment! We really appreciate it.

What an amazing journey! You guys are truly the kind of people the world needs today. Thank you so much for adopting a young boy from my lovely country. Oh btw, if you’re ever talking to a Liberian just say LIB and they will crack up laughing.
