Yeah, sometimes. It’s a price to pay for badass pipes!

What is a fast bike these days? I guess everyone has their own version of what is considered to be fast. The bike does have some pull to it but it’s not a sports bike, if that helps. It is a cruise bike though and it really enjoyable to ride, especially through the wind-ey bends. We love it!

@@reinblunt I know videos don't do it justice, but I've watched about a dozen before and afters, and I know how the stock system sounds as a reference. It goes grillin purring like a kitten to roaring like a lion, and that lion has laryngitis 😂 looking forward to that raspy,choppy grumble

@@gingernaut2550 We are pumped for you too mate! We did not realise how loud and monsterous it is! FYI - Make sure you get your ECU flashed to stop the over-popping (it's gets a bit much after some time) and it will also help with fuel consumption. THe flash will also put a bit more power in your throttle.

@@reinblunt Good tip! I'll enjoy the cracks and pots for a little bit. I was thinking about riding it out for this season, I love waaaaaaay up on northern Alberta Canada so the season is relatively short, then add an intake this winter and send the CPU out to Ivan over on Europe, I've heard great things about his tunes.

@@gingernaut2550 Another option is that you could send it here to Yuri in Brisbane, Australia, he is the king of flashes on this side. He flashed our bike (the one in the video) twice, once when we got the sweepers and again when we still heard popping, he fixed it up like a mad max mechanic! We tested it by racing against 3 other bolts and smoked em all, they were not even close, so it's a no brainer to get it done. Highly recommend the flash, with whomever you choose.

I am not sure what a foot pack is. We had to grind some of the passenger peg in order to fit the sweeper.

No power commander was needed for our Bolt, but I guess that was our preference. Yeah, we had to order the Sweepers (exhaust) from the USA. Cost a bit in postage as we are Australia based.

Thanks @luke. The black paint is such a good colour on the Bolts! We have done a few more mods, such as completely blacking the bike out, changing the number plates display, rear lights and new LEDs, but nothing too highend that we didn't already show in this video. The flash is still doing its job and the bike is just as bad ass! We highly recommend getting the ECU flashed if you install pipes and/or airfilters. Ride safe!

Thanks for the tips. We had the ECU flashed (twice) which makes the bike run smoothly and efficiently now. :)

That’s a great point Bob! We used to have two bikes where we would ride together, but they were entry level bikes. Now that we have this beast, there is talk about getting another because they are just so good and fun to ride. Stay tuned!

I agree @Basil, but the sad thing is that there are not a lot of solid made options when wanting to modify the Rebel so you have to use what you can. At the time, these were the best available options for us.

It is great to see that with each new model, they work on upgrading the little things, like comfier seats. Ride safe, and enjoy! :)

That is possible @VALLESSARIUS although as we have not tried this ourselves, we are not sure what would happen there. We have ever only had 1 rider on this beauty.

@@reinblunt I've heard that you cannot have the passenger pegs with the Bassani exhaust. I was surprised to see it in the video here.

@@VALLAERION - We do have them attached to the bike, but they have never been used since the bassani was installed.

@@reinblunt That's good to know. Especially since I'm planning to buy this bike and restrict it for A2 license (or maybe, just maybe fake restricting it but don't tell anyone), and I really dont like the way the stock exhaust looks.

@@seenechetty3669 Yes, way better than the Harley 500. You can do more with customisation and it is cheaper to run and maintain.

Hey DCD, nope, no need to remove the wheels. The covers fit on either side of a wheel with a few bolts through the middle to keep it secure :)

@@dcd5050 The brand is called MOTOLORDD WHEEL RIM TRIMS COVERS and if you look at the links in this video description, you will see a direct link to where I purchased them from, which includes photos of the 4 plates, (2 plates per wheel) and the bolts that connect the two plates together for the front wheel and the two plates that connect to the rear wheel. Hope that helps.
