Easy Way to Understand Special Relativity | Lorentz Transformation | Time dilation
Einstein asked question himself what a light wave would look like if you were to chase after it at exactly light speed. Since you and the light wave would be zipping through the space at exactly same speed, you would be keeping perfect pace with light. So from your perspective light should appear as though it wasn’t moving. So you should able to catch a handful of motionless light.
But Maxwell’s equation didn’t allow to catch the light. Because this equation doesn’t allow light to appear stationary. It means speed of light is constant. No matter the observer in motion or not, it always get measures 300000 km/s.
And einstein was well aware about that. And then he realized, if space is absolute, the speed of light would not be same for all observers. To maintain the speed of light constant space stretches or contracts. This is called Special relativity theory. Not only space, but time also stretches called time dilation.
In this video i tried to explain how space and time works when object is in motion with spacetime diagrams (Lorentz transformation).

Typical nonsense (from other nonsense textbooks and videos): in the moving reference system the clock is ..at rest- do you morons understand it? It "moves" only in the reference system at rest (for example on Earth/laboratory as a stationary one). The Lorentz formula is just a mathematical transformation as it cannot be otherwise,i.e. any physical change of the clock's mechanism is contr the Relativity principle! The clocks on moving planes react to a difference in gravitational potential between Earth's ground and the plane's height.

If it's infinitely bent then light wouldn't escape like how they say, so does blackholes bend space-time infinitely or what?

Besides the fact that since a black hole was observed a few years ago, Einstein's "Theories of Relativity" and anything grown from them cannot be true? The good 'ol ridiculous nonsense that gravity or speed alters time. Even though it is impossible to test for falsity, there is no evidence of it, and everything anyone ever has presented as evidence either is obviously simply the result of things moving faster without needing to push against gravity (duh) or stress-related body changes (duh). Also which always are the inverse of what would happen if Einstein's idea about speed/gravity and time were correct. Then there's things we see about some planets' orbits around other stars. No one ever thinks "maybe light is distorted because there's dozens of lightyears between them and us" or "maybe the massive radiation storm between stars is changing the image" or "maybe it's just, y'know _gravity."_ Nope, it's always "See!? It's shifting in time-space due to its speed!" even when it's slower than planets in our own solar system... It's kinda like how people believe the idiotic idea that mass increases with speed even though all measurements and calculations treat mass as a constant and objects moving through the sky or space are never mentioned as having different masses as their speeds change, no matter how extreme. With the obvious answer being that speed increases weight in the direction of movement as weight is essentially an object pushing against another. Not a change in mass. As particularly well proven by how guns are designed and ballistic calculations are made. Namely the fact that to impart more energy through a bullet, you have to increase the bullet's mass. So, if velocity increases mass, it's so tiny or starts at such a high velocity that it's imperceptible to human technology and therefore we have no way to test it. Not that the "Theories of Relativity" were ever theories in the first place. They can't be tested for falsity, therefore they can't be theories. They just have "theory" in their literal name. Which was quite clever and definitely unethical. You know how Einstein tested his "theory"? By riding a horse past an apprentice and having him ride a horse past Einstein. He determined that it felt like time passed differently based on whether he was watching the horse or riding it. _THAT_ is his "test" and why he believes it. Speaking of, aren't these "theories" some that he gave up on because he couldn't figure out a mathematical way for them to be true?

Use the Cavendish Experiment to demonstrate how curved spacetime deflects light just like it defects the two small balls. I DARES YOU! Problematically your definition of time could be better thought of as, a dynamic operator rather than an orthogonal direction. In the observer model, it's merely a convention that is used to organize entangled sub systems of the universe into A more stasis -based configuration. Which is more entropicly favorable to the observers.

What I think is that science will never prove the existence or non-existence of God (philosophy/religion won't either). BUT, it can show that many interpretations of God we currently have do not match up with what we know about the universe. All we need is one positive piece of evidence...but no one can agree what that might look like. An old man sitting on the clouds looking down at us? Not clouds? OK, how about near the sun? Or in the next galaxy over? Inside a black hole? Beyond the CMB? Not a man? A woman? A dog? An octopus? An alien? I enjoy a philosophical/religious discussion, but there are conversations that are either not interesting OR get aggressive/violent. I stay away from those.

the speed of light is constant, but does change depending on the observer, yes. The train example with them signing papers doesn't make sense, because the particles of light from the bulb would be moving at the speed of light plus the speed of the train. What that means is, from the observer on the platform, they would see the light traveling in the direction towards the front of the train travel a further distance, but the light would hit its destination (the person signing the form) the same time it reaches the other.

First vid I've seen that refers to the typical 2D illustration of space time warping. About 2 mos. ago I was 'complaining' about the typical illustration of this concept in a conversation. I also said that IMO, the typical illustration of the effect of black holes is also misleading. I think that a more accurate representation would be something small (like a speck of dust representing the singularity) suspended exactly at the center of a huge round ball. The ball surface is the event horizon, the point at which nothing that crosses it can escape the gravity of the singularity. That is because the gravity of the singularity would affect space-time in all directions, not just vertically as shown in the typical illustration. The idea that a black hole is some sort of funnel shaped thing that looks like a drain makes no sense to me.
