Wow! What memories! The greatest moment I ever had at a live concert. I had tears in my eyes. I felt like I was in Heaven. Plus Horns and Strings where also being played. I even had time with Arthur back stage. Very lucky that I had a press pass. Took many special photos. I will find a place to post them. So you all can see them. Arthur we miss you so much! There is no way I can describe what it was like to here this when it was first released and I was 17. My good friends and I just loved these guys and the things we've been thinking - to borrow the phrase from Scott Mckenzie singing "What's the Difference". Hear that song and you know why I left home, wealth, and "my material things," going back to Arthur Lee on Forever Changes. It was the music opening me up to my lonely heart, which demanded real love. That's what caused me to find Christ. My mind had to be totally free for us to connect ... so I drove 3 thousand miles, went alone into the wilderness with a Bible I'd just bought ... and I found Him. No money. No intent of ever coming out of there ... then He could come to me. To the singers and their music ... Christ bless you.

I cannot figure what the line about how the snot has caked against my pants means. However, the other line write the rules in the sky and ask your leaders why makes me think of the religious trauma I've experienced in Bible belt part of the country which is also the rust belt. Despite the fact that mainstream American Christians seems to be the correct religion among where I live in Indiana, it's very contradictory to my values, morals, and beliefs as a good kind and compassionate human being. With American Christianity having so much influence in politics and society here in the United States, the line Write the Rules in the Sky and ask your leaders why is very relevant in today's time!

"Forever Changes" is the second greatest innovative rock album ever produced IMHO. The first? "Child Is Father To The Man" by the original BS& with Al Cooper and Steve Katz. These two albums pardon the pun..set the scene for the introduction of orchestral instruments being incorporated in rock music. The Chicago Transit Authority, later to be called Chicago then took it to another level, of course. Horns and strings are incredible when incorporated into rock music IMHO. Arthur RIP. You were a freaking genius.

Rolling Stones, Beatles and every white band pretending to bad black boys got more revered for regurgitating what Arthur Lee had in his soul. Forever Changes probably the most important body of songs amassed on one album by a single artist. And by god did he do his legacy justice with this whole set and performance. Note how Glastonbury has whitewashed the Greenpeace message from stage front. Mass consumption without focus rules. Arthur would have hated that. But the live Albert Hall performance. It is magnificent. Xx
