Baldassarre Rock Orchestra (2024 Highlight Reel)
Hello CZcams family! 🎸✨
It's been a long time since we rocked & rolled! Many of you have asked why I haven't posted any "Professor of Classic Rock" CZcams videos. The simple answer is... "There is only one of me!" 😅
I loved doing music breakdowns for my CZcams fans, but I also love writing and performing live. The reality is, I can't do all three things at once. So, a year ago, I decided to focus on writing and putting together a new live show. 🎶
I'm finishing up a new album called "Deep Grooves" with Jacob Dupre and Nick D'Virgilio. Remember them from my short-lived "Soul of Zeppelin" project? We've created a killer album of riff & groove-heavy music deeply rooted in the style of 70's funk, soul, and rock. Much of the inspiration came from the episodes I did for my channel. More about this album will be forthcoming. 🎸🕺
What's taken the lion's share of my time is putting together my live show, The Baldassarre Rock Orchestra. This 70’s classic rock symphonic circus unites the power of rock and classical music in a spectacle of sound, lights, and entertainment! The 9-piece rock orchestra features killer musicians, including the world-renowned string quartet OPUS 216 and Mark Boals on lead vocals (You might remember Mark from my PROG band Syzygy). 🎻🎤
The Baldassarre Rock Orchestra plays a mix of 70's classic rock with symphonic arrangements and original classical and rock music I've written. The show is a wildly diverse and flowing production. 🎶🌟
All of this to say... HERE IS OUR OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHT VIDEO that gives you a glimpse of the Baldassarre Rock Orchestra live! We hope you like it! 🎥🤘
The shows are going great and have been a lot of fun. It's also been a ton of work to take this show on the road, as we have 11 performers plus 8 crew/production staff! But it's worth every calorie of energy! 🚐🔥
If you have a chance to read this description, please like, subscribe, and comment on this video! 👍📲💬
BTW... I will return to the channel with new episodes at some point, but I'm having a lot of fun putting into practice what I've been showing all of you! 🤗🎸
Peace & Love,
Carl ✌️❤️

Carl Baldassarre - It's Christmas Each Day - [OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO] (Christmas music)

"It’s Christmas Each Day" A romantic Christmas Song (using the “Magic” Christmas chord) I swore I'd never write a Christmas song (as if the world needed another one!). But fate intervened when I stumbled upon an article titled "The Magic Christmas Chord." That caught my eye, and I embraced the challenge to weave that so-called "magic" chord into a delightful Christmas Song. I must confess, the ...

Live at Carnegie Hall, circa 1976 is Acid Rock defined. You should get this. Amazing how well defined each instrument gets through. Thanks for the great study.
Absolutely
To much bla bla bla
"All there is to the song.."...? MUCH more than that. You missed the songs biggest songwriting genius - It changes keys 4 times climbing up from G to A to Bb and ending in C. You missed a real opportunity to stress how unique it is for a Pop song.
What is the singers name?
Best video ive seen yet!
Loved it.😊
Der schönste Love-Song aller Zeiten meiner Meinung nach!
Well Carl, thank you so much for that Journey down memory lane..I loved it and you have earned my subscription !!!
I first heard the bomber on a PanAm 707 from London to Sydney in 1969, listen to it so many times
He was ok. Nothing special. Over rated as hell though.
Great study. Thank you ;-)
Favorite Zep song
You definitely have too much dirtiness on your guitar which sounds nothing like Green's clean guitar playing. 😢 But one of my favourite bands.
The original version of Dazed and Confused on TSRS is quite possibly the greatest performance in guitar history. No knock on Hendrix. But that 26:52 was masterful. Is there some sloppiness in it? Yes. But overall the solos in that song, and I'm not talking the bow portion, were pure passion and excellence.
Page is a musical genius
Synthpop revival!
I think this is less of a guitar lesson and more of the guy showing off. 😅
I always thought 'Ozone Baby' was a sadly overlooked track, with a great riff. Pretty much anything from Coda seems to be overlooked.
That's not choppy enough.
Great job of getting near zep sound, greate base
tell me please which reverb pedal do you used in this video
First song was played wrong... Don't know about the others cause I didn't bother to watch any longer
Turn the mid up. I've noticed that when he jams alone, he uses a much more 'hollow' tone, like you played NFBM
Adoro essa música. É simplesmente linda...
selfish me wants you to do a 30 led zep over looked riffs, lovely work, love the cuts you chose
I remember this album listened in high school lol
Been a fan since the early 70's. Seen them in Germany while I was stationed there with the US Army Sept.78-81. Prog rock at it,s best!!
I'm a huge fan of Jimmy Page and this is one of the greatest videos I've ever seen in my entire life. I hope it teaches and inspires many guitarists like me, who have spent years buying items that they don't really need, ending up making their sound worse and then feeling frustrated about it. As you correctly explain, everything comes from the head, the hands and the heart. The more you start to remove, the more everything starts to make sense and be unexpectedly beautiful, but you understand this over the years. Thank you for this lesson and thank you for explaining it so well. Less is more, long live music played with the heart.
Saw him in Melbourne he is the best
But he used a Tele for many rhythm tracks. I know, right? Leo nailed it in 1951.
Page is a true all feeling from the heart, raw and organic.
I think your LP Custom is one of the best looking I've seen. Im a sucker for what i'd call a tobacco burst. 👌
Ohhhh man .... Yeah!!!! My favorite band ever and exactly my favorite song from all my favorite songs of them !!!!
I don't think Page gets enough credit for his solos.
When I saw Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes perform this on stage in 2000 at Jones Beach they played it beautifully. Sounded just like the album if not better
Dude, you've got to play from emotion. Not from listening to Jimmy and trying to imitate him..
Dude, close but no cigar.. Sounds like you practiced it for a while.. You're not going to be able to ever touch Jimmy. Jimmy played from pure emotion not from listening to his tracks and trying to imitate them.
I don't even play guitar but I love this track and you seem to have the skill to pull it off nicely!
That Heartbreaker riff is also incorrect. It's played with chords (A7 shape) at the 2nd, 4th (Am7 shape), 5th, and 7th frets.
Just one thing that's kinda key in Down By the Seaside. Play the last two notes of the pattern (F# - E) on the D string (4th - 2nd fret) so that you can keep a continuous drone on the open A string throughout the entire riff.
too short play longer
still love them since seventeens
Primeval Heavy Metal
O início do hard rock e heavy metal
That is part of their sound, how they created it. Joe Bonamassa says it wasn't a mistake, it was deliberately done and shows the genius of Page.
I'm always astounded at the odds that a small handful of world-class musicians would emerge from the same town or region (e.g., Liverpool), and form a band. The Beatles are probably exhibit A for this amazing, odds-busting phenomenon, but I would have to put Rush up there as well. Neil Peart is commonly ranked among the top 3 rock drummers of all time, and then add in his fantastic lyrical contribution to the songs. Geddy Lee has one of the most iconic, recognizable, and amazing voices in rock, and on top of that is typically ranked among the top 10 or so rock bass guitarists of all time. Alex Lifeson is not typically ranked super high on all-time rock guitarist lists but that's because such lists skew toward technical soloing prowess and iconic solos, whereas Alex's strength is chord crafting, iconic riffs that we never forget, and just generally genius composition. The fact that these three guys from Toronto/Hamilton area found each other and gave us one of the great rock acts of all time is truly amazing and a massive gift to all of us.
Shades of 'Communication Breakdown'.
Your attempt at 'Rock 'n' Roll' was terrible. I paused to tell you you should find a new line of work and find another line of work.
