Lovely - but watch out for your microphone placement, you're getting a lot of voice reflection from being so close to that wall, and being off-mike, which is serving to slightly hollow out the voice on the second singer -Very nice though for all that :) - And yes, I am a recording engineer, so no hating please.
Thanks for the tip! My father is a producer and I learned from a young age that engineers are our friends lol! You're spot on: we did this during lockdown and were constrained by each of our individual materials and recording know-how, but it was definitely a steep learning curve. the pattern I wrote requires some concentration, but with a simpler pattern, double knitting is actually relatively easy!

Hi Zachary :) So I’ve made the incredibly insane decision to try your gorgeous design for my #pomkal2021. What’s the matter, you ask? I’m a brand new knitter and I am watching every tutorial I can on the German twisted cast on and my question to you is, bc I’ve no idea, is: when I first cast on, how long does the tail end need to be? Was watching Andréa Mowry’s tutorial and said to triple the amount of yarn for the tail before casting on... perhaps I need to ask this on Ravelry but I’m just realising it after the long winded message... Oh man! #chewingmorethanicanbite
Hello!! Oh how exciting!! SO. If you do the German twist cast on with TWO colors, there is no need for a very long tail. You make a slip knot with *both* colors (with a 6 inch tail); then. you hold the dark color on the thumb and the light color on index finger and proceed the German cast on as you would normally. I'm planning on making a short video on this on my instagram soon as well, but perhaps this makes sense?
