    I brush my teeth for 5-6 minutes, this cycling thing is stupid because I like to be on my own time and just make sure I get every spot, I'm not just randomly cleaning my teeth until a sensor goes off, as adults we really shouldn't need help from a device, just the part where you don't have to brush and scrub is cool.

    The last time I saw a dentist regularly I was 17. The year was 2005. I finally saw the dentist again when I was 32 in the year 2020. I had used a Philips Sonicare toothbrush to brush my teeth once a day since 2006, there have been multiple versions of the brush since then, and I purchased the new model every 6 years or so. My current brush (the battery stick) is about five years old. When I finally went to the dentist again at 32, the dental assistant made a comment about how great my smile was. But my teeth have always been pretty white, even compared to other people in my family. I think I just have the genes for whiter teeth. And my teeth are also very faceted, if that's the correct term. They aren't smooth, the front face of my teeth are covered in a patchwork of geometric cuts. That faceted surface causes my teeth to reflect light in all different directions, so they actually appear like they're sparkling. Then she went on to tell me the bad stuff. Sure the front of my teeth looked fined, but my gums were caked with plaque. I had to sit through about eight hours of deep cleaning. And I also had six cavities, apparently. I never experienced discomfort or pain in my mouth at any time, but the dentist showed me pictures and assured me that filings were necessary. It's a good toothbrush I guess, if that's the worst thing I dealt with after 15 years between dental visits. I'm still using it. And even though the battery part is five years old, it still lasts about 30 days without charging (if anyone was wondering about taking it on vacation). Just remember I only brush once a day I should probably brush more.

    • @thinkblue8089
      @thinkblue8089 Před rokem

      It's a good toothbrush, but that doesn't mean you can skip the dentist for 15 years. Your condition is your own fault, not the brush's fault. You need to brush twice a day and floss once a day which I'm guessing you don't do. And you need 2 cleanings a year.

    Buenos Dias respecto a sonicare. soy usuario de el sistema sonicare desde hace muchos anios, y les dire que estoy muy contento con el acabado, una vez lo usas no puedes volver al manual debido a que la sensacion de limpieza es impresionante… reduces las limpiezas de boca a una cada anio y medio, una maravilla. como higienista bucodental, no hay mejor regalo que un cepillo chuli para mis amigos y familiares. por ese motivo mucha gente de mi alrededor se han unido a este sistema de cepillado que aunque les encanta, tiene un pero que a mi parecer es un fallo muy gordo. Acostumbrados al uso del manual o al tipico vitality de Oral-B de Braun que nos ha durado un verdadero monton de anios, hemos crecido usandolo y nos hemos cansado de verlo nos hemos comprado la version profesional y la retiramos por que la bateria no duraba mas de tres dias antes de perder la fuerza… ah pero lo de phillips es otra cosa cuando decide pararse y dejar de funcionar, no hay segundas oportunidades. el equipo se estropea cada anio o asi, ( ya les digo que no solo regalo sino que soy tramitador tecnico de familiares y amigos) y los modelos que tienen cubierto el boton con silicona todavia estiran su vida de uso a dos anios, pero los diamond clean como el boton no esta aisado, tiende a llenarse de agua por entro oxidando esta los circuitos internos con el tiempo, y si eres muy aparatoso con la espuma de la boca el ratio puede ser de cepillo cambiado cada seis meses… menuda gracia que tengas que ir al servicio tecnico cada 6-12 meses a que te cambien el mango del cepillo dental que barato principalmente no es….. el resultado es que estas tremendamente encantado con la limpieza pero desencantado con el producto a la misma vez debido al mal resultado que te esta dando, llegandote a plantear si, los cepillos de OralB de 200 euros a comparacion te podrian dar un poco de paz a la hora de visitar al servicio tecnico. me gustaria que esta opinion les sirviera como perspectivaa x meses de uso, anios...... lean los comentarios negativos en Amazon y veran de que estilo son... muchas gracias

    I bought this particular brush because I just put braces on my lower teeth and it said I can use it on braces. My concern is I won't use all the features. I just used it for the first time and the vibration/tingling is new. She did say in the video that the brush remembers where you were in the brushing cycle if you need to spit so you don't cover your mirror with spittle. I lower my head into the sink to minimize the mess. I have been using the round Oral B and this Sonicare brush seems to be more effective so we will see. I will have to get up a few extra minutes for work for the extra cleaning. I think it just takes time to get used to it.
