A great bike, but for me: Way to heavy, no need to speed 240 Km on the Autobahn. And how often will most drivers use the full power? I need a cruiser for the country roads where I can smell the fresh cut grass and hay and enjoy the landscape. A way better solution for me would be a rock solid 4 cylinder engine like the 1974 Honda CB 750 Four K2 - but upgraded to today's standards. As a comfort queen I say: Use the best comfortable seats super passenger suitable (mammy happy everybody is happy!) and put such a low vibration engine in a modern frame with a shaft drive and use stainless steel spokes. Equip it with all necessary modern things (to name a few ABS and cruise control and a adjustable windshield and there you go. BMW would be ashamed .... but that's just my to cents. Hope some bike builders listen .... Recall the qualities of the old Honda Montesa Deauville 650 NT with shaft drive, use today's light weight material give it 4 cylinders and double torque and a touring bike for happy campers is born.

Dude did you mention that you raised the forks through the tripple about an inch ??? & that's when the bike handles 150 lbs lighter ... I know because I changed mine & you could of done this one handed .... so if anyone reading this wants there bike to handle like this .. about 3/4 of an inch ( raise the forks ) any more then that it could get unsteady over 100 mph .. I never had a problem ( my bike does the same I can actually scrape the pegs at low speed maneuvers as he is doing
