Yes you can use it with almost any bait caster reel! Also the line depends on the size reel and the fish you target I would put 15-30lb power pro braid on it, but thats my preference

I think if you get the 5000 or 6k version I think it would be just fine the 4k version I got is a little small. It will handle Spanish, smaller kings, and jacks, and etc. But I would not be casting the 4k version at Big jacks or tarpon.

That's a great question I'll grab one and do a review on it. But from just basic information looking online I found they are similar in quality. But with daiwa I feel like for the price you can't go wrong. Good luck buddy 🎣

We free lined the bait like 10ft in front of us, so no weight. Hook size was 3-4 bkk hooks, and we used 30-40 lb leader good luck buddy! Really the biggest tip though is make sure there's an incoming tide, you want that blue water from the ocean pulling in.

Sorry for the late response but thanks for watching! Also yeah it takes a lot of patience for sure. I think it would be decent as a cooler, But it all depends on how you plan to use it. At $55 you can possibly get a cooler that fits your needs better or keep drinks colder.

Not gonna lie I have never had a problem or any slow issues with mine. I've used it a good bit for long periods of time. Overall it's a good device for the price!

Heck yeah buddy good luck it's a great fishing spot. Also we got our bait at the smaller beach inside the inlet. We just cast netted them.

@@crhooked makes sense, In Spain the min size is 30 cm which is just stupid in my opinion I set the min size for me at 50 which I find more reasonable.

Yeah buddy, so the south side jetties at the end where I fished in this video has tons of sheeps & snapper if they are around! With this colder weather the sheep should be there, I know when I went last the snapper bite was on fire during the outgoing tide! Make sure to bring multiple baits like toddler crabs and shrimp to have a better chance. Good luck 🤞 🎣

The good thing is it's not as slippery as you would think. Also I definitely had that thought go through my head a few times (the waves taking you off), thankfully we all had a safe trip. @@crhooked I caught small ones on 3" NLBNs overnight there 1/2oz head. Day time no luck any size NLBN, shrimp, mullet, or pinfish 🤷‍♂️ We just hit a bad weather pattern or something. Fished it from 9pm that Friday night through Saturday night 12:15am then drove back. With sleep breaks lol.

@gofishtn Yeah NLBNs do the trick for sure, also we were using mojarra. Glad to hear you at least got a few though! Yeah the weather has a huge effect on the fishing pattern it also went from a cold front back to hot recently, so that could throw them off. 😂 love the passion buddy definitely had my fair share of fishing trip with almost more time driving then fishing 🎣. Helps when you got buddies for sleep breaks for sure!
