I used to have a Lands End skirt just like this in denim, when my kids were Teenagers, I think. I loved it so much I wore it out and then they didn’t sell those any more. I have your pattern, but forgot what kind of skirt it is. I’m need to create myself a database of patterns and their styles. Most of my patterns are digital, so I don’t have envelopes with pictures. But I think I should definitely make this skirt very soon!
I am in the middle of sewing the Strata top, and so glad to see this tutorial before I tackle the neck band as it can be tricky. We are having a rather chilly June in Scotland so I hope to wear my Strata in July…..
I just bought this today, to use as a simple pinafore. We shall see how it goes.
love these tutorials! shelfful for me! Thank you so much
So glad it was helpful!
I love your pattern styles! This was a great video to showcase your patterns. Hoping to get sewing again this summer.
Thank you! 😊
Love your style!! You just showed up in my feed and I'm glad I clicked on your video. :-) I'll be checking out your site and tutorials. Thanks from another NC seamstress.
Heĺo,did you make the pattern or you bought them and where did you buy if answer is yes
Thanks for the question: the pattern is the Bedrock Tee sewing pattern: sewliberated.com/products/bedrock-tee-pattern
Judith can pack for a 2wk Euro vaca on thr Studio Tunic!
haha, indeed!
😂😂😂❤❤❤
:)
Loved the video- links to limestone and chanterelle are not right
Thanks for letting us know! We fixed it. Much appreciated
I love this dress! May I ask what pattern it is?
Thanks! It's the wrap dress Hinterland hack from our pattern making course, The Creative Hinterland.
Thanks for great sewing motivation 😊
Most welcome 😊
I love your patterns and your aesthetic. This was a fun video to watch , thank you ❤️
Thank you so much!
I just finished sewing a Hinterland dress a couple of days ago. I've actually made it three times now. One with each type of sleeve option. I love the pattern! I just made the sleeveless version with "Otter Assembly" fabric by Michael Miller. It came out super cute!
I love to hear this!! 🥰
I have made many hinterlands , in cotton jerseys, long sleeves , short sleeves for summer, then layer for autumn , cord sleeveless, cord long sleeves for winter …….I LOVE the hinterland, my all time favourite dress
Oh, thank you so much for sharing that. I’m so glad you’ve gotten so much out of it!
Nice selections.
I have been sewing up so many Bedrock tees lately to get ready for summer. It’s such an awesome pattern and so versatile that and it’s really like getting 6 different patterns in one.
I don't iron either! Thanks for validating my guilty non-habit 😁
North Florida here. What's spring? 😀
You get us :)
Love your new dress - well, love everything but have been looking for just the right pinafore...found it!!! Bought and can't wait to sew- it's perfect for our temperamental English summers❤
Very nice! Just finished my Petrichor Pinafore!
This was f5u to watch and a good rundown of your patterns. I agree, we need a me made November... here in Western Australia we also have a very short spring and then it's hot! I would love to have a lo ger spring and a shorter summer! Lovely ! ❤
LOVE LOVE, the outfit.
Thank you!
Such great outfit inspiration! ❤ I can’t wait to get my Petrichor sewn up!
Thank you! Can't wait to see it!
Great ideas! I can’t wait to start making my own wardrobe 😊
Aw, thanks! Yes, so glad to have you in our Sewing Basics course
Meredith totally looks like Zooey Deschanel and I completely mean that as a compliment! She looks so pretty with her hair in the kerchief 😊
I think so too!
"I do not iron, even though I have a lot of linen" Meg is my kind of people 😁
hahaha ... nice to find my people!
Loved this video! Great job all round. The Joanie looks great.....might make one for my daughter xx
Thank you!! Can't wait to see the Joanie you make for her.
THANKS !!!! Now find time to sew,....
Always the challenge, haha
@@SewLiberated But worth the effort !!!!
you know it's autumn in the Southern hemisphere...so Me Made May here in Australia is all about autumn/winter outfits ;) Thanks for the inspiration! I feel like most of these outfits still work for our current A/W climate. Just add a jacket!
Love that idea! And glad you could find some inspiration despite the weather differences :)
we mentioned to each other that we wanted a Me Made November ... but no need! We can just do a Me Made May down under. Thanks for the tip!!
Fist
I love all th use of linen; it's one of my favorite fibers and it just gets better with age. I want to make all these things right now!
It is really the best!
Same.
Such a great video! Can’t wait to make some more of your patterns as they are perfect for the hot Colorado summers here! I call your gypsum skirt the perfect homestead skirt with the big pockets! It’s been a game changer for me and my homesteading chores 😃
Thanks for the kind words! I love thinking of you homesteading in Colorado with your Gypsum on!!
Loved this! Very inspirational, but here in Australia it is Autumn and heading into Winter so will save this video for a few months from now.
This was just delightful to watch! So many ideas for my summer sewing as well… I definitely have a Petrichor Pinafore and some Bedrock tees/tanks in the queue.
Yay! Can't wait to see your Petichor and Bedrock tees. They are closet staples for us.
Thanks for your video; great inspiration and lot's of fun!
So many lovely garments! Thank you ! I was so happy opening my Sping/Summer bag when saw my duvet cover Arthurs and Otis ( toiles) from last year. Some Chanterelle shorts and another Stasia are ready to go in the sewing queue too !😊
Aww yay! And thank you so much, we are so glad it inspired you.
Love these seasonal edits, they give me such amazing inspiration!
Thank you! That makes us so happy, we have a great time making them.
Such great looks! Really love seeing your styling- lots of beautiful ideas here 🥰 Thanks to both of you
you are so sweet, thanks!
We’d all love to see an autumn version of this! ❤
great idea! we may just do that🥰
Will you have a tutorial for this?
Not currently, no. But the instructions are very detailed and you can always email us at support@sewliberated.com if you run into trouble while sewing it up.
Beautiful. Where is this?
Please my dear, can you tell me, what kind of scissor are you using in the video? Thank you very much in before for your help!!!!!!
Absolutely! They are duckbill appliqué scissors
oh man. I don't know where I messed up but mine does not look like that. :(
Send us an email and we will be happy to help! Support@sewliberated.com
Pattern emporium ‘be mine’ blouse has great sleeves that would look good under the hinterland…
Great idea!!
I never thought an honest comment from a sewist would be deleted. Very disappointing.
Hi Catherine, your comment wasn’t deleted! The entire initial video had to be deleted because the wrong was was accidentally posted (incorrect format.) Apologies that it got lost in the shuffle.
I want the pattern as well!!!
It is a Hinterland dress hack from our course, The Creative Hinterland, sewliberated.com/the-creative-hinterland-a-pattern-making-course
I have the Estuary skirt pattern, this gives me ideas!
Exciting!!
It’s stunning, and what a lovely touch to wash away the tracing paper in a running stream ❤
Thank you so much!
