Thank you Michael Manley for the social changes you made. The children of the poor benefited tremendously especially from free education that lifted them and their family out of poverty. The upper and middle classes didn’t support your policies because of the benefit to the lower class. They didn’t want poor Jamaicans to rise. Jamaica will never command the respect it deserves if many is impoverished,hopeless and suffering. The affluent are hiding in gated,guarded communities and grilled homes and don’t care enough for the poor. Jamaica needs more LOVE for one another.
