"Bisaya" dahil nasa Visayas region, ang taga Mindanao ang roots nila ang majority came from Visayas kaya ang salita nila ay binisaya, hiligaynon, etc. ang proper name dapat ay mindanaonon or mindanaoan kahit same language pa rin sa Visayas. Ang Cebuano are the people from Cebu, hindi mo puedeng tawagin ang mga taga bohol, ormoc, dumaguete, na Cebuano kahit na they speak same language ganun din ang taga bacolod hindi mo puedeng tawagin mong ilongo dahil hindi sila taga Iloilo hindi mo ring puedeng tawaging ilongo ang taga Capiz.😂 Common sense lang yan, kahit ang batangueno hindi puedeng tawaging manileno or bulakeno kahit na parehas sila ng language but they're all tagalog Kasi nasa tagalog region sila. Gets nyo na? Ang problema kasi kaya nalilito tayo dahil malaki ang pagkukulang ng educational system natin wala kasi silang pakialam sa Southern Philippines masyadong sa Luzon lang ang focus nila.😂

Actually in negros it's normal na to hear both dialect/language at nagkaka intyendihan sila(saksak sinagol kung Baga sa term nila) unlike sa ilo-ilo na madalang Ang nag sasalita Ng Cebuano....✌️✌️✌️😅😅😅growing up sa pagkaka intendi ko cebuano ang tawag namin sa mga nag sasalita ng sugbuanon( kahit saan man sila galing)ang ilonggo naman ang laymans tern sa mga nag sasalita ng hiligaynon.....specific pag iba na linguahe tulad ng karay a,aklanon capiznon at waray....😅😅😅

We all have a common ancestor, and pre colonial times we all migrated from Borneo Indonesia to Panay. Before that both the Proto Malay and Proto Indonesians came from the Philippines! We are all related. Panay ng Negros both lays in Western Visayas of Central Philippines. Bisaya is just an umbrella term.

We ilonggos are not bisaya , or bisdak etc. we are 'visayans' by location and our language may be related but we do not consider ourselves bisaya, we are our own tribe, not one ilonggo would say "bisdak". a bisaya person and an ilonggo could not even talk to each other at all, again we are ilonggos not bisaya. we call our chickens "bisaya". please stop trying too hard to make us something we are not, it is annoying.

Otley Beyer)give interesting details about the laws, government, social customs, and religious beliefs of the early Visayans, who settled Panay within the first half of the 13th century.The term Visayan was first applied only to them and to their settlements eastward in the island of Negros, and northward in the smaller islands, which now compose the province of Romblon. Bisaya ay tawag sa mga tao na nagsasalita ng bisaya (dialect) na ginagamit ng some parts of visayas and mindanao. HINDI po ito tawag sa mga tao ng visayas. LOL
