I love GAMMA now. I used to hate it with a passion. I just got diagnosed with ADHD at 23. The first week I started on Adderall I decided to try GAMMA. I've fallen in love with it. Turns out I hated it because of low attention span and getting distracted. Now I can focus on what needs to be done without distraction, now it's fun for me lol

Origins sounds like the Clear Sky equivalent of the Batman game series.

I love 3 things about Oblivion. Enemies change when you reach higher levels (Ghost>Wraith, Liches, bandits wear pretty badass armor, etc.), cooler/more stats that did things (Unarmored, hand-to-hand, acrobatics, etc.), and it's willingness to experiment (Stange/intractable set pieces, wild sidequests, iconic NPC interactions, etc.). I could say more like how variable types of enemies can be like you cant hurt ghosts unless you have the right type of weapo but the game has many interesting TTRPG inspirations and it's not afraid to wear it on it's sleeve.

Starting off with the 3 games growing up, and then going into the modding community I can see why some wouldn't like Anomaly/GAMMA or any other mod out there. The way I came across knowing about the modding community was from my dad trying Misery when it was still fairly new. But after many years had gone by and I tried the 3 again, even on the hardest difficulty it felt like something was missing. Even tried them with the "complete" mods and other mods. Eventually coming across COC, but even then that was just an open sandbox with quests here and there to do. Few years later I come across Anomaly, played the heck out of that. That was the stalker experience that I was looking for, and was quite happy with it, so many fun and frustrating hours poured into it, and I don't regret it. Time goes by, and I catch wind of GAMMA, at first I was skeptical about it because of its difficulty curve. But I got it, and played it... and I LOVED it!!! Even more hours to put into the stalker series. Though I haven't played it in a little over a year now due to a slight burnout. As I stated at the start of this comment, I get why there is such a divide, but we all have our own versions we enjoy. It's just nice to know how much the community loves this series, though it can get toxic at times, but I ignore that side of it. Anyways, rambling over. I think I got my fill of Anomaly/GAMMA for the next few months from seeing this, may pick it up again. Thank you so much for taking your time for making this video!
