Well done, I would add that the position of the ball in the hand(s) of the player is very important. If the stripes are not perpendicular to the finger tips the spin you can give to the ball is much worse than if you do it right. At low levels of basketball, knowing how to quickly position the ball can make you shoot significantly better.

The wording doesn't do that good of a job of describing the physics aspect of downhill, for example footbraking isn't a system it's more of a technique. The rider and board together could be considered a system. It might be cool to see a free body diagram or math on how the moment of inertia of a skater changes depending on their body position

Tuck and Rolling, Air Braking, Foot Braking, Heel Braking, and using Slide Gloves. These are the specialized braking systems.
I Ride the Rip-Stick in Downhill Longboard style, took me 3yrs to get slides down pat. Love this sport❤❤ many fellow over 30 guys have been getting back into this wonderful past-time/Heavy duty workout.
