man i am starting my masters in computer sci next year is there demand for data analyst in japan and how much japanese and leetcode are required and which object oriented programming language do you think we should choose what does japan prefer thanks and wish me luck for next year
was the course taught in english? how was it?
Bro, don’t just eat meat and chicken, eat more vegetable, otherwise you will easily feel sleepy and tired, which is not good for productivity when coding and working. Im the same age and also a dev like you so this is just my advice from my experience. Keep your good work and good health bro.
Thanks for sharing this. This is a sign for me.
Hello Ryza , Currently im pursuing my master's in data science in London and later im planning to work as well but job market is so bad , but as im planning to come japan for work . How can i secure a job ?
@@vishalgarg8532 linkedin is a good start!
Great vlog! I'm really interested in studying data science as an undergraduate in Japan, and I see you're at Tokyo Tech. Could you share more about the program you're enrolled in? I'm not fluent in Japanese, so I'm looking for undergraduate programs that offer classes in English. Thanks!
@@robincollar for undergraduate, you can google “GSEP Tokyo Tech”.
Nice video. How are the working hours in Japan?
@@Cyber_Lanka really depends on the company. Mine is okay.
Hello Ryza, Thank you for your videos about software engineer in Japan, I enjoy them a lot. I am currently working in France as an AI engineer but willing to move to Japan in 2 or 3 years. Your videos provide big help for me. Hope we can get connected on LinkedIn
Thank you for sharing. How long did it take you to reach JLTN2 level, after taking JLPN3?
Thank you for sharing🎉
I’m wondering if you’re studying in Japanese or English?
I knew I needed books. Great timing that youtube recommended your video! I passed the n4 by relying on online grammar sites, youtube lessons and memorizing and being familiar with kanji and vocabs. I wanted to try for n3 this dec but I don't think I could do it by doing what I did before for n4. Thank you !!!!! will surely check the books
@@paulajanice04 best of luck!
Can i be software engineer without degree?
it is possible to apply to your company or other japan companies as junior frontend developer ? remote ?
You can start searching for openings on Linkedin! 🙂
Cool, im 30 and have been learning coding for over half a year now, im focusing on backend engineering, learned DSA, Python built a few projects and Golang and built a few projects. really hoping to find an entry level Golang position somewhere.
Cool! I also started with python and learned a bit of Golang along the way. I’ve seen an increasing demand of Golang developers these days because many companies are using micro services, so it’s definitely a good choice to learn the language. Best of luck!
@@ryzary Yeah thank you, I know Mercari uses Golang for their backend as well. some big companies use it so there is a path also for long term goals
Which tech stack you are doing?( if i consider to move to japan , which stack should i learn to get job ?)
In my current project I mainly use python for backend work. It really depends on the role (front end, backend, ML), not the country. If you wanna do backend/ML definitely start with python 🙂.
Do I need to be proficient in Japanese?
Depends on the company. It’s possible to use only English to work at some companies, but being able to speak daily conversational Japanese would definitely helps 🙂.
❤😊
How should we apply for Tokyo Institute of technology for a international students
Missed your videos for long time
Big fan of ur channel! U inspired me to start my own as a dev in Japan! Hope we can collab someday
Thank you. Best of luck with your channel! 😊
Thank you, Ryza. Helpful video, with good advice. Wishing you much continued success with your career. 👍
Thank you!
This really hits home, because I'm a fresh graduate from Indonesia. I have a remote job right now, but it's been my dream to get into Japan as a software engineer. This video is really helpful, thanks!
Thanks for watching! Hope everything goes well for you 😊
You say that but my dream is to have a remote job😂
@@ichigostrey1035 Remote job is great, but while I'm still young. I want to improve as much as possible. Mentoring on-site is probably way better than remotely. Hybrid is the best of both worlds 😆

how much a fresher could earns anunnally ??

Thank you so much for the video. It was really helpful and helped me to decide which book I want to buy

It depends on the team/company.

Hi! I have been hearing debate about this serie with Shin Kanzen Master... What's your opinion about it? I've heard a lot of reviews saying that this serie was a bit lacking comparing to the other... But I want to know from someone who has the whole serie
For N3, I only use the Grammar Book from Shin Kanzen Master. It's my top 2 book for grammar, besides the TRY series! I don't know about the listening, reading, or the vocabulary book tho.
Is Data Science considered CS in Japan? I looked into apply but most unis don’t have Computer Science to be exact in the choices
It depends on the university 🙂. For me I was enrolled in the Life Science and Technology department with research in AI and Bioinformatics. Master’s programs here are usually research-based and not course-based like in the US.
nice
Are you from Indonesia??
Damnn, love your video man. Do you have any social media accounts??

I had a question... I am a student in high school still (i guess in japan it would be year 11 - 12). Have you got any advice for any students on becoming a software engineer? I am active on linkedin, and I am fluent in python, Java, and SQL. Is there a routine / habit / mindset I should develop, what should I start to work toward, etc...
How's the job market in Japan?
From what I observed on Linkedin these days, the job openings are dominated by positions for Staff/Senior Levels.
@@ryzary Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's unfortunately what I observed as well... Do you think whether there's any advantage in applying from within Japan, if I only aim for western multi-national corporations? The universities from which I obtained my degrees qualify me for the J-Find visa, but I'm not sure if it's helpful at all in this case.
Ryza, where are you from ?
I'm in 10th and I want to go to Japan after 12th in this university as I'm an cse student
Thank buddy😊
Hey, nice video. I am having some workshops over the summer with Japanese companies ( in Japan). I was wondering what should I do with the dresscode, any recommendations?
@@d-victoryous5638 it really depends on the company/event actually. But to be safe, I think business casual would be good.
