    Bro, don’t just eat meat and chicken, eat more vegetable, otherwise you will easily feel sleepy and tired, which is not good for productivity when coding and working. Im the same age and also a dev like you so this is just my advice from my experience. Keep your good work and good health bro.

    I knew I needed books. Great timing that youtube recommended your video! I passed the n4 by relying on online grammar sites, youtube lessons and memorizing and being familiar with kanji and vocabs. I wanted to try for n3 this dec but I don't think I could do it by doing what I did before for n4. Thank you !!!!! will surely check the books

    Cool, im 30 and have been learning coding for over half a year now, im focusing on backend engineering, learned DSA, Python built a few projects and Golang and built a few projects. really hoping to find an entry level Golang position somewhere.

      Cool! I also started with python and learned a bit of Golang along the way. I’ve seen an increasing demand of Golang developers these days because many companies are using micro services, so it’s definitely a good choice to learn the language. Best of luck!

      In my current project I mainly use python for backend work. It really depends on the role (front end, backend, ML), not the country. If you wanna do backend/ML definitely start with python 🙂.

      Depends on the company. It’s possible to use only English to work at some companies, but being able to speak daily conversational Japanese would definitely helps 🙂.

    Hi! I have been hearing debate about this serie with Shin Kanzen Master... What's your opinion about it? I've heard a lot of reviews saying that this serie was a bit lacking comparing to the other... But I want to know from someone who has the whole serie

      For N3, I only use the Grammar Book from Shin Kanzen Master. It's my top 2 book for grammar, besides the TRY series! I don't know about the listening, reading, or the vocabulary book tho.

    Is Data Science considered CS in Japan? I looked into apply but most unis don’t have Computer Science to be exact in the choices

      It depends on the university 🙂. For me I was enrolled in the Life Science and Technology department with research in AI and Bioinformatics. Master’s programs here are usually research-based and not course-based like in the US.

      From what I observed on Linkedin these days, the job openings are dominated by positions for Staff/Senior Levels.

Do you think whether there's any advantage in applying from within Japan, if I only aim for western multi-national corporations? The universities from which I obtained my degrees qualify me for the J-Find visa, but I'm not sure if it's helpful at all in this case.
