How did you put the dual exhaust tips on ?
I have seen a 2015 BMW 750Li & a 5 series 550i making 445 HP which I’m interested in; I only want to get either because of the power gains after tune & AWD - I saw that DME tune these from 445HP 480 TQ to 560 HP 595 TQ. Are these numbers true? If that’s the case then, I’ll have to go to the dealership asap. Love what you did to the exhaust, what did you use? I hate how the stock look. I’m also planning on straight piping it when I get it. I currently have an SHO, it’s 🔥.. but I need a V8 T-turbo. Ill check out your channel, I’m sure you explained your set up. Love the ride bro!!!!!
@@rocko_M thanks!! I appreciate the love!! I run Bootmod3 on my car. I had an OTS map for a while and it was good, definitely felt a difference. I now run a custom tune from “N63tuned” (you can find him on instagram) through the bootmod3 app. There is a night and day difference between the maps! So much better now. I also recommend xHP for a transmission flash tune.
I have a 14 M750li. I want a nice growl to mine. Nothing to loud. Any advice?
How bad is the cabin drone on the freeway at 70-80mph?
@@aidenmadueno there is some drone, to me it’s not terrible tho. Especially with the windows down and music up
@@davidjacobs6221 all I did was a muffler delete to mine and it was pretty obnoxious and unbearable. Yeah, I had to have the music up.
how do you get the turbo to spool and also whats the exhaust set up ?
also are you on coilovers if so did you have to delete the codes?
@@HenotKAP I have catless downpipes, resonator delete( replaced with x-pipe) and muffler delete. Also have custom CAI and custom tune. The downpipes really helped with the turbo spool volume. I am on coil overs. I bought the KW EDC delete kit which tricks the system to think the stock shocks are installed.

Haha finally, thanks for uploading. I actually did the intake setup and downpipes and mine sounds super similar. Absolutely obsessed. I do have a funky idle when it comes to a stop but it runs and drives fine so trying to figure that out. Thanks for the upload!
@@SageXteriorCleaning you are welcome!! Sorry it took so long lol. You may need to let the car learn the new increased airflow. Or a little tune.

Do you actually get much oil accumulation in the catch cans? From what I saw in the tech manuals, each bank already has an oil separator built in with 1 labyrinth seal to start, followed by 3 cyclone separators all contained in one housing. That should be plenty to separate the liquid, and hopefully the stock system wasn't designed to allow any liquid oil returning to the intake. For reference, a catch can is a cyclone separator.
I have gotten some water/oil in the catch cans. It takes a while for it to buildup though.
@@davidjacobs6221 interesting. I saw another N63 video on here and the guy was getting some pretty nasty water/oil sludge in the catch cans, and lots of it. I'm going to try for a separators and all hoses replacement first (just bought the car at 100k and have put 10k of hard driving on it in 6 months) and will hopefully remember to post back here, might make a video to show what I find in the separators. Thanks for your effort on the vid and the reply.
@@b0ssh0gg I’m interested to see if you get anything in your separators!

Great content! I recently bought a 2015 f02 I had to subscribe. Lucky me it has a reman engine and I'm about to do its first oil change. Good on using the mo2..have you tried ceratec? It's a superior additive compared to the m02 it forms a coating that lasts 30k miles. I'll be adding ceratec every 20-30k while adding mo2 every oil change at 5k. I just used tubing and clamps. I cut out the mufflers and used an adapter to go from 2.75 to 3in tubing out to the tips.
do you still have the resonators on?
What year is yours mine is 2010 and I wanna replace the mufflers with something but idk how to research on it tbh.
Mine is a 2014. Your best bet is to get under the car and take measurements to see how big of a muffler + tips you can fit then look up different mufflers. Any exhaust shop would be able to weld them in for you. Carid.com has lots of options and most have sounds clips to give you a general idea of loudness and tone.
Nice job bro. What size are your blankets, T23 or T22 and are the turbos stock?

@@davidjacobs6221 only question I believe I have is if there’re any pointers for removing the PCV hoses from the OEM turbo inlets and installing them onto the X5 M turbo inlets.
@@AYO_KO those connectors on the PCV valves are fragile, while squeezing the sides of "connector" I used a little flathead to help open the tabs enough to clear the lip of the turbo inlet.
