A quick look at what goes in to making a Defiant swing arm on a Okuma m-560

Another big thanks to our dealers and customers for their support - without you, this would not have been possible! As some of you may have noticed, we had a rather large box sitting outside of HQ the last couple of days - well, it's time to remove the cover... Our new Okuma CNC machine will play a critical role in improving lead times and maintaining the quality Gravity Paramotors is known for...

Gravity Paramotors ACS arm Peg Test

People have been asking just how strong are the parts? How well does the paramotor hold up? Here is one of our test in the real world outside of computer CAD simulations. We are pulling on the ACS arm peg in the worst direction possible. Using the very same runners used for the carabiners and arm safety strap. You have to watch all the way to the end to find out what part or parts fail.

I'm thinking about getting into this sport someday. There's so many paramotors out there to choose from. Granted I won't be buying anything until after training but I'd love to support a veteran-owned USA company. What would be better for a beginner? The defy or defiant?
czcams.com/users/shortszAspBNm1ZeU?si=Bd71Ny9rUju58e-H Such a great product.
You should design a float system or something like that to monitor fuel levels. Gotta be a way to monitor hours/rpms/temps and fuel without needing a mirror. With the design of the tank I could imagine it could be misleading on fuel levels. Really like the design and the color scheme... I got a problem with buying green shit... especially green and black
At exactly 3:50 Minutes. You didn't specify how you put the gear in 😢so it catches? or so it does not catch? you left a very important part out.😊.
Are you guys still making paramotors? There's been no updates and no new videos in a long time and several of my friends who were interested in a Gravity couldn't get a hold of you.
I feel much of it should be built at the factory...
Bro! I love this concept! I'm ordering one for spring up here in Canada. Always support veterans! Cheers gents
Looks like alot of parts and alot of ways to screw things up and get hurt or dead
2 years later: I drive a 4 door Pontiac G6 Ave break this thing down everytime. 10 minute assembly if there are no distractions. Breakdown in 5 minutes. Holding up well.
Loved watching Anthony Vella’s videos on you guys I’ve also built my own gravity on your website and that was real fun guys… I’m just leaving early stages and would really consider your paramotor for price & strength Ps do you deliver to New Zealand? Or have a dealer here? Peace
i want to become your dealer here ph
saving up for a defiant, will be my first paramotor, super stoked to get in the sport.
Are there any torque specs given for all fasteners? I might have missed that if they are listed. In my past experiences with presision engine building, there are torque specs for every bolt on not only the engine, but the entire vehicle. I would feel much more confident having a given value for tightening. To me "tighten" is too much of a variable. That's just me though. Great video.
Been researching different paramotors to purchase after finishing my training... The Gravity brand has quickly jumped to the front of the paramotors I'm considering to purchase next to Parajrt Mavric and Scout NXT. The fact you have to partially build the paramotor is absolutely AWESOME! So you understand the functionality and components of the aircraft! Not to mention the ability to customize your order right out of gate, instead of having to settle for factory standard equipment, specifically the harness. Great job on your design and I will undoubtedly be looking into your products before making my final decision! Absolutely awesome concept to the paramotor world!👍
I'm looking into getting into the sport. I have been watching Anthony Vella and he has really turned me on to this unit. Hopefully I'll be buying this year or next spring!
So what's the new weight now with the aluminum hoops and with the 185 motor? I heard somewhere that the fuel tanks first mold had extra plastic and now it's lighter. Any truth to this?
It looks like the arm peg is beefy as all hell and can take a ton of abuse. However, the one thing I noticed that kind of concerns me is the actual arm itself seems like it's only secured on by that little puck and that little screw on the end. Can you please put my mind as ease that the puck and little screw wont sheer off in flight? What good is a beefy arm peg if the arm itself is only secured by a small shallow screw on puck?
I've only just known about you and your product. As a club pilot in the UK, I can honestly say it's one of the best build and designed paramotors. I will seriously consider purchasing one. Well done.
@52:25 on the base frame...once I get the level 1 puck threaded down enough to get the dovetail piece on my swingarm is locked in place and won't move?
You guys planning on making a trike kit?
Running any black friday deals this year?
Great video. Only tip I would add is to mark the bolts with a paint marker after tightening, to have a visual indicator showing if the bolts are coming loose.
It's confusing and complicated if you purchased defiant X Camera angles are horrible and confusing parts blocked by that guy and you can't see anything
As soon as I'm done at the VA with my chemo treatments, I want to go back to work to get one. I love the design.
Do you have written instructions with torque values?
I'm saving up but I'll definitely be in touch already got your website bookmark.
Wow this is such an awesome design, I hope you guys continue to use the high-quality materials shown in this video for your future models.
The Gravity NanoTrike... Why not offer a full complete aircraft for the masses ? A 10Kg light trike solution... I'm sure you can do that and capture the BIG market. Love your ideas !
A Gravity Nano Trike that works well , that will not tip over and not heavier than 10Kg .... That's what this market needs. A one stop solution ... Most people need wheels ---that's where the huge market is for minimal sport aviation. Then electric.... Congratulations !
I dont see it cheaper than the other paramotors
The dealer in Australia is not very good. Only interested in sales then abandons customers.
I like this, but I want to know if the fuel could stop about 10in from the bottom, thus shifting the weight higher and more centered onto your back vs. the weight being so low now. I hope you understand my question. Im a thin 130lbs. Having so much weight settling below my butt, gives me concern about restricted maneuverability.
Any idea when you guys will have enough kits built to offer a frame only option. For those who don’t need another Moster?
As I was trying to explain for the last 20 years, alot of imbeciles and idiots in the benelux.
Please post more videos like this.

Saw Anthony's video and went to look at your site. I see an option for defy and defiant, but i can't find anything about what the difference is. Only two dealers in Texas, 3+ hours away and both use Yahoo email addresses. Also strange you have a disclaimer that you might make money on links on your own brands website
Jarred, They are completely different paramotors. You can check out the Defy here czcams.com/video/90wdhkhP2KM/video.html . What email provider our dealers use is up to them. I can tell you that you will get good service out of both of them. Give them a call to see how they can help you. The disclaimer is for the financing options. If you apply for financing and use it they of course pay us for the product and must be disclosed.
$150k worth of unlimited creativity.
We love making chips!
Spoke to hoop attachment the insert just spins when you try getting it tight what is the trick there . I drop it in it's loose what keeps from spinning? I see you pressing it in with a large Allen. Mine falls in loosly
The allen gives pressure until the threads pull it in tight to prevent spinning.
Gravity Paramotors Rock! Love my Defy and Defiant!
I will be traveling to LOUISIANA in October to get my paramotor training. I pray its in the budget for me to pull the trigger on a gravity paramotor and wing. Gravity will definitely be my first paramotor, thank Anthony for all the great videos on your product!
Stephan, We are glad to hear it. We lookforward to seeing you in the sky.
Does this mean the price is fixing to go up ?
I hope not 🤞

Want one really bad. Well good, but still want one. What kind of wings are recommendations for this parameter application? An a wing is what I've been told I need. What is your opinion on this subject?

Always make sure your kill works before you go flying for sure!
Is there an Atom 80 option for the Defiant? Thanks.
