I Captured the International Space Station with the Stranded Boeing Starliner Capsule Attached!!!
Every once in a while the International Space Station flies over and you see it as a bright "star" moving across the sky. Welcome to my recent obsession... trying to take a picture of it through my telescope. After many way-too-early mornings I finally got the technique down and captured this shot from my front yard. The lighting on the station was just perfect so that you can see the Boeing Starliner capsule that's docked (and stuck) at the ISS right now!
This was captured with a Celestron 6SE telescope with a ZWO 678MC Planetary Camera. Post-processed with PIPP and RawTherapee.

200,000 Pictures of Saturn from Night into Day (5-Hour Time Lapse)
zhlédnutí 59Před měsícem
There's only a short period of time during the year when you can shoot something like this, where Saturn is at its high point during the day, but far enough away from the Sun (close enough to Earth) to take meaningful shots with a small telescope like mine. Saturn isn't particularly close during this time but I was still able to tease out some details as I shot it from pure darkness to full day...

Photographing Jupiter in the Day - Hike, Kicked Out, Starlink Photobomb, Jupiter Photos!

This is my afternoon journey of finding and photographing Jupiter in broad daylight near Denver, Colorado. I didn't plan on hiking 2 miles with 70lbs of telescope equipment, but that's how it ended up. In the process I got kicked out of my spot by a ranger, just about gave up after setting back up, had Starlink photobomb my search, and eventually found success and got some pretty good pictures....

SOLVED - Roomba Not Fully Docking and Dust Bin Not Emptying Well

My Roomba i3 wasn't fully docking so it was coming up short and the self-emptying function wasn't very effective. It was often taking several emptying sequences to empty the bin or it would try to empty the bin and give an error that it was unable to empty. This was because the emptying port on the Roomba wasn't lining up with the vacuuming port on the base. I'm not sure what other models this ...
Bush Removal by Brute Force - No Power Tools - Just a Pruner, Axe, and Saw

How I took out 3 overgrown evergreen bushes in the front of my house. I'm not sure if these are junipers, false cyprus, or round arborvitae, but they needed to come out. I simply used hand pruners to remove all of the branches down to the stumps, then used a tree saw to get the stumps down as much as possible, then hacked away with an axe until everything was gone.
Replacing the Control Board (HK42FZ009) in my Carrier furnace

This video shows how easy it is to replace the HK42FZ009 control board in your carrier furnace. I had to replace mine because the blower wasn't coming on when my AC turned on and it wouldn't come on when I tried to manually turn the fan on through my thermostat either. I replace it with a used board that I bought from netsellerzoc on eBay for about $60. I could not find a new one. netsellerzoc ...

The issue is that the air vent is stuck in recirculation mode so it never gets fresh outside air. Cedar Wood Raised Garden Bed - 12 Year Update - Rotted?

Your way of doing it as good as any . The surest way to get views for a CZcams vid is to include the word “easy “ in the title regardless of what the topic is . I have seen it used so many times . People about to undertake an unfamiliar task will understandably have a bit of self doubt in their minds and look for some kind of short cut and because of lack of experience will fall for all kinds of crap .

  • @jbnrusnya_should_be_punished

Looks like a lot of hard work. Which was only overcome at the expense of your good shape and young age. Instead of an axe, you used a pickaxe... a very inappropriate tool. And instead of chopping or cutting the remains of the tree with a hacksaw, you chopped it as if you had an engine and a big mechanical shredder instead of your hands. It is inefficient and difficult. I think it was better to cut off the roots and pull out the stump completely as usual instead of chopping it into pieces.

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't it be a lot faster to use a diamond tipped masonry blade on an oscillating power tool to score the stone much quicker (and deeper), then give it a good pop with the hammer and chisel? Your method works, but that took you five minutes and a considerable amount of effort, not to mention the edges weren't really clean. *Note: I have not tried what I'm suggesting. I'm just looking for a faster, cleaner way and asking if you tried donething like this.

    • @MattBurns303
      @MattBurns303 Před měsícem

I dont know but would imagine anything using power tools would be faster. I think if you were using a blade though you'd want something that would go all the way through, or at least almost all the way. Part of that chisel method is that it creates fractures down through the block. I don't think a shallow saw cut would accomplish that.

Thx for this. I was going to use 5/8 in cedar pickets but now I'm not so sure it's really any better than using common lumber 2x6s that are slightly cheaper. When the cedar starts to rot, there isn't much material thickness in the pickets to hold it together. I don't have the budget atm to get more substantial cedar lumber. Thx again. Quit being such a cheapskate and rent a stump grinder. All that digging of a shovel and swinging of an ax leads to severe cases of arthritis, pulled muscles, and spine injuries. You're way will land you in the back of an ambulance and spending the rest of your life in a wheelchair. It's easier to work smarter than work your dumb ass off like you've shown in this video. By the time you've dug out all the dirt around the stump to prepare to swing the ax, my rented stump grinder finished removing three stumps and I sat down for lunch. You're not Paul Bunyon so quit acting like him. You had to greatly speed up the video because your way of removing a tree stump took 10 hours. Thanks for showing us viewers how NOT to remove a tree stump. Rent a Binford 450 model stump grinder and enjoy life the easy and smart way. Leave the dumb ways to the Hillbillies. They don't want to know any better anyway. Their too busy drinking beer, getting tattoos and believing Trump is their second coming of Jesus Christ dressed in a red baseball cap. 😂
