OHM would have been amazing, Poland and Menza...They had some good songs already and played really well together.

Had Randy Rhoads lived I bet he would've been intrigued by Chris' playing. Now, there are questions below as why is it that Chris has never gotten the recognition and I think it's an easy answer. I've never met him but he seems really down to earth. He isn't like vh, or Vai or so many other of his contemporaries. Constantly needing their names in lights. Megalomaniacs! Chris has done solos for other bands and he seems happy with that. To me from what interviews I've watched. And he just loves playing. The rock star lifestyle isn't worth it, and he definitely knows it. As he and Gar did live that to a point. Musicianship is where its at! At least thats what I think.

I'm always amazed at how many amateurs and pro players have this tense pinky habit while bending. It's a bad habit and depending on how stiff is your pinky it could lead to injuries. Obviously is not a bid deal for Poland. I think Andy James also tends to straighten his pinky like that. Nonetheless, try to avoid if you can: it should remain curved and relaxed.

Just look up youtube guitarists playing cris poland solo's.you know what you get?chris poland playing chris poland solos.its a start on why he is the best guitarist megadeth ever had.look up marty kiko jeff young chris Broderick ect.there are thousands of videos of guitarists hitting every note without going out of the time.please send me a link to a guitarist playing chris poland solos accurately and in perfect time.if chris had more motivation to take what was his no would be talking about mart Friedman or kiko ect.his solo's are near impossible to replicate and it is very frustrating.there are 1000's of videos on youtube of kids playing other megadeth guitarists parts of the songs.peace sells is nearly impossible for me anyway to play not for note after overdubbing the guitar parts.even mustaine has a weird picking style that is hard to replicate.its amazing how the 2 daves chris and garr had this wierd but awesome vibe and together they made some complex music that no other speed metal band sounded anything like it.i have songsterr to help me with these songs.on the peace sells record many of chis polands solos are missing.meaning the guitarist who was translating could not reverse engineer chris polands solo's correctly.

If I didn't already know Chris was in Megadeth I never never would guess,, Im not really sure where I'd put him but he just seems to be something much more than a "metal guitarist" he's one of the most interesting guitar players alive, incredible talent!

No one can make playing seem so effortless and clean. There’s no one else that can play like this. The bends and sustain, it’s all so definitively Chris.
