I have the same Telecaster version, I quite like it although my favourite Telecaster is my Squier 1984 Japanese, bought it new and it was set up just as I like them, the intonation was close to perfect although I have compensated saddles on it now, no high frets, the action was perfect, not too high not too low, I have recently changed to a Tusq nut as the original one got a crack in it. I bought better string trees years ago as the butterfly ones are horrible, I still have the original ones and have been thinking of spraying the bottom of them with PTFE and re-installing them as the ones I have on at the moment look odd on an old Tele. I have never changed the pickups as they sound awsome, I would put it up against any Fender USA Telecaster, IMO it is the perfect Telecaster.

I have 11 Classic Vibe (China and Indonesia) and i love this one...the pup on brigde is great for 90s Brent Mason and the neck pup is for ALL... No plans to "upgrade"...the sounds come from hands and EQ...

I just bought the same two packs,, I think they advertise they’ll last two years,,we’ll see if they last longer maybe less corrosion or some coating applied?but I’ll put them on and let you know if that’s true

You couldn't get a good sound out of the Helix? 😂, yes it takes some learning curve, but with dual cabs now and the latest updates, poly fxs I tried the cheapest ampero and temu "multi fx processor" freaking junk! Always go back to Helix it sounds the same weather I'm in my studio or in stage running FOH and 1/4 out to powered ffr and runs midi to my other pedals, I'll stick to what I know sounds good, and is supported by line 6 and the vast resources of Yamaha their not done with Helix yet I m not either,!

To get your humbuckers to sit level with the strings, stick the foam they use behind bass picikups in there. It's a thick, soft squishy foam, similar to what's used around doors and windows to weather seal them.

If you want the stain to get deeper into the flame, thin down the dye with thinners. Then build up the colour. I have to say I simply use danish oil as it allow me to alter design after and simply reapply.

My Squier Affinity Telecaster string thru has a DiMarzio Chopper bridge pickup. Earnie balls .09 gauge, Original Fender tuner pegs. Thinking of changing the pots to 500K, and maybe swap the bridge to a Fender original one, and maybe if i go full crazy ill buy a rosewood original Fender telecaster neck! In other words, the only thing Squier about the guitar when i'm done with it is the body lol

It's an amazing little thing - you can get to stompbox mode by holding down the left footswitch. Hold down right gives you tap tempo. What I really like - it has global controls for IR on and off on each of the stereo outs independantly. In my rig the one side goes DI out with an IR and the other feeds a power amp to a real cab.

Tone riders Ac 4 set are absolutely brilliant in my Les Paul and alnico 8 bridge in my ESP DEFINITELY recommend checking them out, saved me some coin and couldn’t be happier, I’m looking now for the right set for my strat, do your research and choose the right one though, which is true of any pickup

I hear the difference. Fat 50’s sound slightly stronger, brighter but also smoother. They sound just like a Strat should sound clean

I did this to a Fender Mustang bass so our big band can fit on smaller stages.

Squire guitar's are okay they are fine for biginners or intermediate players to have something good to learn on. I would suggest changing the tuners and the pick ups but that's my opinion...

JT350 don't have the roasted neck, the JT300 range do for some reason...I have the JT300 Tele and they are excellent for the money..

How microphonic is it with all that air?

Glitches when engaging effects on and off external swich is useless as it cant select presets only turn fx on and off which results in glitches for a second after pressing the switch as the system has to load like a slow pc. Not suitable for live use. I use one for Band rehearsals and i absolutely hate it. Tone wise its OK not great but has no dynamic range so gets lost in mix when band starts to dig in. Plus the unit I received has a loose screen that rattles.

You're full of shit. Difference is very subtle, at best. Easily sorted with amp tone controls.

I actually preferred the DI better. A bit more on the raw open end sound which would be heard more in the mix IMO. Would you still recommend one of these? I used to use the Boss GT8 for years and years, then moved to the Avid 11 rack. Now looking for something new but not too expensive. Thanks for any input.... Cheers Jake

Love the Invader and actually like the fact that it has presence and mighty low end that connects with the bass. Really dominates and roars in Metal mixes and probably a reason why it remains Karl Sander’s pick up of choice in Nile.
