Footage over and across the Sutton Bridge of the local flooding to Elvington and Sutton-upon-Derwent. We've not see the grass on the Ings or spill fields since November. Surely it's got to get a bit dryer soon....

That's a lot of flood water. Great work capturing it.
must be terrible to get house insurance... hard to tell in places where the canal ends and fields start
Luckily its an old established village where the houses are all 4-6 metres above the Ings and the flood plane. There have been plans in the past to build there!!! The river does a sharp turn under the bridge, and splits to fill the canal to the right of the main river - very hard so see when it’s be submerged for so long!

Thank you - it was such a lovely day, a break from the weeks of torrential rain sandwiching it! At the Trig Points, you could see 25 plus miles - great visibility
interesting video - but I personally would have preferred a little bit of text to explain what I was seeing - not thrilled with the 2 portions with the flash fast editing - the tunnel looked interesting,, but was there for less than a second. Still, it's a beautiful place that I would never get a chance to see without your effort. Great drone footage. Thanks for posting!
Thank you Don. It was a very quick edit done really for friends, but thought I'd add it here as there was some nice footage. I take your point on adding a few headings in there - I've since uploaded a couple of 'shorts' with some in frame notes. It's footage from a 13 mile stretch of the High Peak trail in Derbyshire, heading west from Middleton Top. A great walk if you get the chance!
I'm home based in KY - I might make it to a derby, but not Derbyshire - which is why your video is so enjoyable. Because of youtube, people like you and drone / video technology, I can see places that I'll never get a chance otherwise. Liked and subscribed - keep the adventures happening! @@MartinPovey
