    I think that's a safety feature for when people miss count and accidently do more than 10 pumps, it gives a buffer that you can actually go to 15 pumps and still stay within the valve/Oring threshold without causing unnecessary stress or damage because of accidental overpumping, maybe?

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před dnem

      well i talked to crosman directly and it was a full on defective batch and they were happy i brought this to their atten and its been dealt with as well it was not a new design of any sort and mis counting can happen yes but that's not going to stop you from over pumping even a proper built valve will still dum 30 pumps and you will get a fair amount of extra speed but you do risk damaging the pump piston

    • @theFormidable1
      @theFormidable1 Před 23 hodinami

      @@KevinMillard68 so those were defective? Anyway I just bought a 1322 a week ago from Amazon, I know this is an old video, but did they fix the valves in the more recent batches, and can I pump mines to 10 pumps and leave it pressurized overnight or will doing that damage the seals overtime?

    @claptinfan Před dnem

    I appreciate you video and your comments on the subject but some things you can try to adjust the performance of your Front Of Center (FOC) or “balancing point”. You are talking about the parachuting being caused by the FOC in the light arrow. This is not true, if you have a high FOC arrow, light or heavy, you need to adjust the size of your fletching to compensate. With the front pulling the arrow you need less drag and steering force in the rear. Same as a rocket, fins are typically small compared to length or body or projectile.

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před dnem

      i did say iam not an expert right. i have some arrows here with rather large fletches well feathers in this case iam aware that the arrows will react different with different size vanes or feathers depends on the lbs and speed of the bow how they reach tho if with a standard setup this i have found also the rest being used also greatly affects how the run to this i have also noticed part of what i have also been testing different rests as well on trad bows to see how things react good and bad ..i have still alot more to learn as we all do , i just got done watching a video where they guy shot lighter and heavier arrows FOC difference however what spooked me was i saw that one arrow pulled more into the riser then the other and that is not a fair test so his results to me are a bit flawed so it gave me and idea for a video of heavey vs light all arrows being equal lengths then we see the difference 100% give me a few days and ill get something new together to really make stuf fair in a real life test still going to shoot at a target but it will be fair

  • @km6731
    @km6731 Před dnem

    Oh man, so i comment when i have a thought so i don't forget what I wanted to say. You are talking about 500 spine, 400 spine, and possibly a 700 spine! Before i even started to think about a heavy arrow setup, i had a 340 spine. I loaded it up with 300 insert and broadhead and it couldn't handle it (some of the time) out of a 63 pound bow 30 inch draw. Way too flexible. Any wind would plane too much. 225 up front was its max. Certain huge broadheads caused planing too. I'd be curious what your wrapped arrow spine really is. I would be funny if you changed it to like 300.

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před dnem

      My camo arrows fully assembled with the wrap and 100 grain tips i have no idea what the insert weighs yet but will let you know soon anyhow they are 500 spin and 520 grains total weight fully assembled

  • @km6731
    @km6731 Před dnem

    Thanks for the video. I would like to see extreme FOC arrows react in high winds. I would think the vanes would drag the arrow just enough to keep it straight while the front weight would lead it to where its going to go and once it hit, continue to pull the rest of the arrow through. Even if the arrow entered a little sideways, i would think the front weight would pull it through versus the entire arrow pushing as one unit through the animal.

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před dnem

      define Extreme FOC you have to remember the more weight you add the slower its going to go and it will get to a point where the arrow just won't get more than 10 feet from you LOL i seen guy shooting 700 Plus Grain Arrows but you need alot of Bow to shoot them when they get that heavy iam at 199 fps 58lbs draw with 520 grain arrows as it is i have tried upto 62 lbs but with not alot of benefit i would have to max my bow out to 70lbs to pretty much get the same results as i do currently with 520 grain in order to shoot 700 to 760 will say,. just a ruff guess but the bow pound does creat limits as does its top speed whit for me is 314 tops with a light arrow so if iam getting 199 fps 520 grain 58 lbs right now with my current setup and extra 200 grain even at 70 lbs i dont see much happening there some but not alot hard to say tho but distance is the biggest killer tho a shorter run with higher winds not a big deal over all but longer distance all the weight in the world won't matter an arrow is a larger object so the wind can whip it faster and eaiser than it can a bullet but both are still affected big time either way even if the arrow flew pretty straight in a higher wind still it's going to get shoved way off course but i dont think the FOC is going to help it either way ,I will put this idea in my notes to look into for you and see what i can do it's worth a shot for sure ..

    Hi Kevy, besides all the pumping needed on the Crosman 1322, in your opinion, is it comparable to the Crosman F11 in terms of accuracy and power? I like the look of the F11 but would prefer something more portable that would fit into a backpack since i need to travel to open space to shoot. Also, how is the F11 and 1322 compare to the Crosman 2240? Thanks for the info.

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před 4 dny

      in my opinion the 1322 is going to be more consistent and with a stock and steel breech and scope more accurate as there is no kick at all and springers are never as consistent in power and pumpers are never affected in the cold either unlike co2 and springers , i also favore the co2 stuff like the 2240 for the summer however it's got some upward kick to it so slam a stock on it and a 10 to 12 inch barrel and scope and steel breech makes for a wicked mini carbine , the f121 might be off the books now try DLairgun see if they have it if they done check crosman canada website for it you can by direct and cheaper than going to ctire most of the time

    New subscriber here. First of all, great to see a Canadian air gun review on the F11. I’m looking into either buying the Crosman F11 or the Gen 1 Gamo Swarm 10X. The Gamo Swarm is more expensive probably because of the 10X, F11 is going for $299 before taxes. I tried to watch some videos on CZcams to help me make my decision, but most videos are from US and the guns there has much more velocity than in Canada. Happy that i came across your channel. Watching your videos help me make my decision.

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před 6 dny

      guns are all personal choice in the end its what you like that matters the most iam no fan of anything gamo costy to buy hard to get parts in canada and over all they do make really shit pellets and there guns like i said expensive and hard to get parts in canada Stoger is another brand i have had a few of over all they are decent but no parts access to customers and as long as your under warranty they just replace it mind you crosman has gone the same route on some of their guns as well but most times they just send you the parts you need to repair it when under warranty except for a few guns and that line up is changing year to year what they do which can be a pain in the ass to deal with, so i have opted out to just buy pumpers and co2 guns from crosman now as parts are easy to get and these are also guns that anyone can also work on with little knowledge needed..

    If your compound bow was cited in using a 369 grain arrow, you can probably just use a 150 or 175 grain broadhead (or field points for that matter.) and maybe a 80 grain insert and that would get you close to the 525 grains your accmos arrows are ,,, then you would be able to use both sets of arrows. Also you can shoot the vanes right off the shelf of any recurve bow, you just have to set the brace height maybe a quarter inch longer and your nocking point up higher to clear the shelf ... but the bow really does need to be cut to or just past center. I have always shot vanes off the shelf ... I just recently within the last year started shooting feathered fletched arrows. I even have about 36 of those same Accmos arrows at 28" 525 grains that I shoot off my Falcon bows & I love them! (I have 16 bows all trad bows, I don't own a compound bow and for the first 3 years I shot and only bought vanes.) Anyway hope this helps just a bit, God bless ya!

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před 9 dny

      If i used more weighted tips and incerts then yes your right i could use the other ones how ever try finding field tips the proper diameter they are hard to come by broad heads would be the same you have to watch the overall diameter of the tip to the shaft other wise its opens up a new can of worms for you. also you can't even trust the 500 spin deal anymore either east arrows are not the same as accmos nore are other brands the same diameter either some are the same but few and far between. And now with the hybrid arrows holy hell a new pandoras box for diameters and aucutal spine size of 500 800 300 and so on it's getting to be rather stupid. as for plastic vanes i have years of shooting bows the wrong way and i shot vanes as well better part of 40 years and they always kick to the side left or right handed bows same problem vanes are not forgiving like feathers are. Compound bows can shot either with the right rest, however recurves can also shoot either with the right rest the problem is the support for such a rest not all will works with alternate rest which i have been experimenting with on my channel with my sinoArt bow and so far with it good success. however yesterday i put a new string on my nighthawk and it's a no go for alternative rests to support both feathers and plastic vanes so your ideas tho good are very flawed and its not about being cut to center that makes the difference you also need a rest the can mount and adjust correctly And with the nighthawk 2 of the rests that work on my sinoArt will also mount on the nighthawk how ever the cross angel is the problem it pitches far right on my nighthawk which is a left handed bow i have not tried an alternate rest on my Right Handed Aspen yet but thats coming. Yes I shoot for Real Left handed bows left handed and right handed bows right handed. all the top experts will tell you shooting platic vanes is a no go on all trad bows unless you can. get a supporting rest that will allow for it. otherwise its a no go because of the lack of forgiveness.. now thats not to say that you can't do it you can do anything you want. but to get proper results you have to know each bows 100% to know the adjustments you will have to make for each arrow size and weight and fletch style etc. and its just not woth the BS to deal with.. for over 10,000 years all trad bows were made and designed only to shoot arrows with feathers because that's how they work properly and will shoot accurately. I follow top channels on youtube and i'm on some forums now as well and with my own experience and testing I put up videos myself on all my findings.so stay tuned more to come..

    This issue is driving me crazy, I have two m.2 drives that keep doing this. I have a 850W power supply, and high end PC. The drivers were fine for like a year, and then they randomly appear and disappear

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před 11 dny

      you could have a bad power supply that can cause drives to go on and off which is pretty much the same thing as not enough power, add up the power draw of your CPU and GPU and Mainboard power when running everything at all bore including all fans then you know what's left then you take the amps and watts draw of each drive you have attached and that might clue you in as to what's going on Drivers for a drive well PC suck that way where macs don't voltage is never the problem unless the power supply is on it way out ot its flaky its the amps/watts you draw that is the main issue with lack of power.. think of a battery the voltage is the same but if your amps or milliamps are weak then crap acts up and then when you have used it all up the battery goes dead no more amps left to power the device in the case of a power supply once all the watts.amps are used up stuff starts to go nutty disconnect some stuff and things work again that will tell you that if the power supply is in fact good then your are over drawing. i used to build and sell custom PCs years ago and the one problem we ran into at times was the power supply could not properly power everthing just because you have all those connections did not mean you could go nuts the 2 biggest power suckers are your CPU and GPU ..

    Nice review thanks. I have one of these amps and like it a lot. However I was surprised to find that when I turned over to the dirty channel there was no sound at all until the gain was turned to 4. I checked wth the company that sold it to me and this the way they work. On my peavey when I turned to the dirty channel with gain on zero it sounded these same as the clean channel. So you could get nice sounds with very low gain. I wonder if it would work differently with an active pickup on the guitar. Secondly the auxiliary input. I use it a lot. So it is like having another channel. I plug in my Roland groove box and the sound coming from the Roland is unaffected by the amps controls, including volume. You could use a drum machine or an iPad with a backing track from GarageBand etc. Even a small mixer. Excellent for home practice.

    Just a heads up. You can order the Yamaha FC 35 3 pedal unit which works exactly as the one that comes with the Yamaha wooden stand that comes with the 3 pedals. And the functionality is the same and it has the same plug as the one that comes with the wooden stand. And I prefer it mounted on a gator keyboard stand with the FC 35 placed on the floor below the keyboard. And this way you maintain all of the vas controls that are available to the middle and left pedals.

    This is very similar to a "poppet" valve in paintball. Could you not just use silicone oil like a paintball gun?

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68 Před 12 dny

      silkicone oil in pellet guns is only to be used ion spring and nitro power airguns,. all others you use pellgun oil or sae 30 non detergent which us the top best ever, and there are a few others but i dont know the names off hand

    Hey, thanks for the video. I found your channel today as I've recently reignited my passion for archery, and though my disability is likely to keep me from ever shooting again, I still have a deep love for learning about the art, about various things to do with bow or arrow components, and techniques/instructions/implementation, etc. I subscribed and look forward to more of your videos, will probably watch some throughout the next few days. Since I've been getting back into the information and learning side of things online, I was wondering, do you happen to know any other youtube channels doing similar work here to what you do, regarding archery? I'm especially interested in finding an expert in crossbow archery, as I'm very unfamiliar with it compared to recurve bows and interested to learn - but any archery subjects covered by a skilled and knowledgeable archer would be wonderful. I ask specifically about youtubers not just because you're here too, but because my ADHD makes it more difficult to learn about this kind of thing without audiovisual feedback. in any case, I appreciate your work on this channel and look forward to seeing more of your stuff. Thanks!
