Tiny Medeival Asia - What's Happening With The Project
I'm back with a bit of a different video for you today. Instead of another painting tutorial for my 13th Century Song Dynasty minis I thought we could take a look at what I've been painting and what I've got planned next for the project in this update.

Finally More Tiny Mongollians - Painting Pendraken’s Keshik Bodyguard

Today I'm finally returning to my medieval Mongol army project. Rather than just giving you a video painting the same miniatures as last time I thought I would shake things up a little bit and look at the elite forces of the Mongols in the form of the Khan's personal bodyguard, the Keshik. Once again I'm going to be showcasing the lovely miniatures from Pendraken that you can find here: www.pen...

Today I'm back expanding my Test of Honour collection, and I didn't want to bring you more of the same models or paint scheme so we're going to take a look at the Onna-Bugeisha from Warlord Games. These are intended for their game Warlords of Erewhon but given that there are no fantasy elements to the miniatures they are also ideal for more historical gaming. I also didn't want to show you more...

Since armour wasn't normally standardized across an army in the Sengoku period and I don't much like the sound of having to paint a new army if I ever want to play different armies I decided to see what I could do to help these Ashigaru Teppo units fit into any army that I wanted. And the best way to do that is to make the banners swappable, and what better way to do that than with magnets.

I thought that miniatures for Test of Honour would be enough to sate my interest in Samurai wargaming, but apparently not. So I figured that I might as well expand it out into my new favourite scale and see what painting some tiny Ashigaru would be like. Having had my enthusiasm for Samurai history rekindled by the new Shogun TV show I thought it was about time that I painted up some samurai. Not wanting to start a new army scale project though I settled on painting up a warband for Test of Honout from Grey For Now Games, a fast-paced skirmish game focused around recreating dramatic fights from samurai movies. In this video, I chose to paint th...

Earlier this week I was discussing with a friend about the lack of painting guides for historical miniatures and today I wanted to show that what's being painted isn't the most important part of a video. Instead, you can take ideas from those tutorials here on CZcams and use them for any model. It doesn't just need to be about blindly following a step-by-step process. Brush to Battlefield: Pain...
Can I paint an army in a week? Tiny SciFi Wolf Boys

This weekend a friend of mine wants to play a small-scale mass combat sci-fi game, I don't have any miniatures for the game and needed to print myself up an army. After some procrastination, I left myself just a week to get these to a tabletop standard. Can I get them done in time? Well, let's find out. After months of thinking about what to put up, I finally got my first video for the channel and with it being the start of the new year, I figured why not mix it in with a new hobby project as well. This isn't a step-by-step how-to paint but a general overview of my painting process for the amazing Mongol sculpts from Pendraken. The aim is to get these up to a decent standard in a reasonable ti...
