It is probably a battery error, check it is the correct volts. For a 36v battery, fully charged it should reach 42v, and when its empty, 30v.

It was, the charger was not putting a charge through all 3 batteries. Maybe my sequence is wrong or just won’t work and I’ll have to replace with a single 36v battery

8 miles is enough for most commutes, however i do agree that a bit more would have been better. I am a new rider and turning is risky while holding the camera hence why there is no footage of it. I can confirm that it has a very good turning radius and is smooth. I hope this helps 👍

It depends on how much you want to travel, but i recommend maybe 15ah, it has a good range.

The 13 with the kit is very very poor. It's my only gripe with the whole setup I'm gonna buy myself a spare larger battery

@@ToThePointCT Thank you for the response. The 13ah battery kit comes with a integrated controller on the battery mount, the jaggered 5 pin plugs only fit 13ah battery on Yose's site. Maybe you can get a bigger battery with the same plugs from somewhere else. I'm trying to see if Yose sell me a rear hub 250w kit, without the battery, so I can get a separate controller and a bigger 15.6ah battery from their site. What's the range you get from your battery? Do you not reckon the weather (low temperatures) is affecting your range as well? Also I read on Pedelecs forum the 250w motor has lower RPM (201) and has better torque (for hill climbing) than the 350w motor, that has a higher top speed but not so good on hills as it's got a higher RPM (probably 270). Yose has good reviews on their kits, and I know people who have had their batteries for over 4 years and no issues. I'm on research phase, so not tested it out just yet. Having said that, I'm contemplating a 48v 250w motor also, if I could find one. 33% more torque for hills. And I'd like to stay legal, the law does not say anything about voltage so 48v is fine.

Sorry if it didnt help. This was 3 year ago and my editing and camera work was very rough 😅. I will try add subtitles to show whats hapening. Also, try watching at a slower speed lile 0.75x or 0.5x. Hope this helps.

Most bikes will be compatible, but here are the main things to look out for: - size of wheel (eg. 28") - whether your bike has a freewheel or casette, the ebike kit has these two options, to find out what your bike has, watch a video. - battery size, make a rough cardboard model with the dimentions of the battery amd check if it fits in the bike. If you check all of these, you should be fine. I hope this helped :)

My bike also has v brake. Its brilliant. v brakes are so much more powerful than you think, at first i thought i would have problems but none occured - It can stop the bike within seconds.

Im not too sure... maybe you can get a smaller freewheel and tinker with the rear derauller to make it suit the new freewheel. I think watching a video or two would probably give you more ideas but anyway, i hope this helped :)

Hello, sorry for the late reply. Connecting batteries in parallel that have different AH is dangerous. You could buy the same type of battery and connect them in parallel, but if you want extra capacity and buy a battery with more AH, you should add a switch that can swap between the two batteries (there are videos on youtube that show this). It is not too difficult and is a great solution to your problem :) Hope this helps!

@@abdomoussa5142 I figured out that you’ll need a specific size of washer that will sit between the freewheel and motor. I took it to a bike shop and they said it’s exactly that and they happen to have the right washer that fits in perfectly. I think the washer must be thin enough to not touch the moving parts of the freewheel and enough to hold the inside circle of the freewheel. My bike works perfectly normal now

This is quite strange... you should double check the measurements of the motor where the freewheel screws onto, and see if it is the same dimentions as a normal wheel. If they differ, you should contact YosePower.

Hello, here in the UK the laws are quite firm and the police will stop you if you seem to be travelling faster than 15 mph or if your motor looks much larger than 250w. This 350w motor is pretty much the same size as a 250w motor so it is not obvious plus this kit can be speed limitid by the user. The reason i bought the 350w motor is because i wanted a little more torque without getting noticed, i have the speed limited to 15 mph as well.
