There are earth quakes and volcanoes occuring frequently in the past 2 weeks that have not been expected. Texas has had earthquakes that were not expected. This could be a prelude to something happening larger on the planet and being the cascadia deduction zone is due to erupt we should think about being prepared

I'm going to tell you all that the Cascadia megathrust earthquake is imminent just as this man said! However you need more than just a bug out bag or a go bag. You must have a full-blown emergency kit to survive weeks if not months without any kind of assistance from either the local state or the federal government. You need to have a full-blown emergency kit which involves food water clothing shoes some kind of medical kit involving all kinds of bandages medical scissors and other such medical equipment. Life you're going to save is not just your own. Your family your children friends and Neighbors in your local area. Be prepared, not scared. You can also tune in to my channel Emergency Management Associates here on CZcams we talked about this all the time.

Solomon, besides the valid supplies to stockpile that you mentioned - having gone through the CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams training) twice (once in California and again in Las Vegas, where I now live) AND having just signed up to take this training again starting October 1, 2024. it is one of the best ways to train and prepare oneself for any emergency, including of course earthquakes. The training is offered through Fire Departments, is FREE (supported by FEMA) and at the conclusion of the training - graduates receive a backpack full of emergency supplies and a hard hat. I cannot reccomend this training highly enough!!!!!

I grew up and currently live on Whidbey Island, I have resigned to likely dying here if a major tsunami hits. It just took me 2 hr ferry wait just to get to Everett these days due to the increase in ferry traffic in a normal day, god forbid in an emergency. Deception Pass may not be safe to cross and likely swarmed with traffic. Oh well.

I pray they will not experience a M9.0 or above. Every hydroelectric dam would be catastrophically affected therefore we would have zero power for a very long time in this region. The structural damage would be the short-term effects in rebuilding the region. And with this region being so sandy the little liquefaction with destroy the utilities basically go back to Roman times

Southeastern Arizona is such a beautiful and, dare I say it, underrated area for travel, especially considering the popularity of Northern Arizona. There is so much to explore between the food and culture of Tucson, charming towns like Bisbee and Patagonia, natural beauty and geology of these ranges and the desert itself. Thanks for the great video!

Misinformation…. This video Fact: the subjection zone is over 200 miles west of Seattle, Vancouver & Portland. By the time the waves reach major metro areas the destructive force is greatly reduced. A 9.3 hitting the subjection zone could result in a 7.5 hitting Seattle & other major cities but no wide scale destruction this video suggests. A good comparison is the 9.0 earthquake which hit Japanin 2011 right off the coast of Tokyo. That city still stands because it was built to withstand. The damage came from the resulting tsunami. The thing about tsunami’s is they cant flow upriver or make turns. One would have to do this in order to reach Seattle, Vancouver, or Portland. However… people living west of there directly on the Pacific coast are in danger. This is also the least populated area of the entire region.

There is a look out just north of the light house at Cape Disappointment where you can see the land below and a picture from the past. In the past the land was much lower. This shows the land being thrusted up but the subduction. My condo is in a liquefaction zone. My condo may not survive but I would try to get to my camper. I always keep is ready for SHTF events. The big issue is can I get to it. I have a "garden cart" that I can use to tow stuff to the camper but it would be a long walk if all the roads are not passable.
