      @@mr.boniato6402 Thanks for the tip, I just found this info online in case it is helpful to others, thx!: Citric acid A natural alternative to salt-based water softeners that can soften water and help maximize water softener efficiency. Citric acid can also be used as a preventative maintenance treatment in areas with moderate iron content. It can help remove iron and other contaminants from water softeners, and can also be used to remove hard water spots, lime, rust, and scale deposits. Citric acid works by forming bonds with calcium and magnesium ions, which reduces their negative effects and prevents them from being deposited on dishes, sinks, and shower walls.

    Video good and helpful. But terrible customer server at Greenworks. They will send you an offer to buy a refurbished trimmer at a good reduced price but when it comes it's broken, and never works. They then tell you no returns on refurbished items they sell you. Terrible, website says they accept returns cleaned up. There is a reason they turn off comments on Greenworks video's.

    Since this is a corded version, it would have been nice if you would have mentioned what gauge extension cord you need. My understanding that is if you go over 50 ft you need 14 gauge but if you're 50 ft or less you can use 16 gauge. Otherwise an outstanding video. The biggest issue with all these trimmers seems to be line feed problems.

    • @jamminjamy
      @jamminjamy Před měsícem

      Thanks! This is a really good point and I appreciate you bringing it up! I believe you are correct, since this is a 6.5amp tool if you go over 50 ft you should use a 14 gauge extension cord, if you go over 100 feet you should use 12 gauge, and if you are under 50 ft then 16 gauge is ok according to this website: support.blackanddecker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360057225571-What-extension-cord-should-I-use-for-my-outdoor-power-tool Thanks again for pointing this out :)

    Your video has convinced me to go ahead and purchase this. I was reading some of the bad reviews about screws coming undone. However, my thought process tells me that, that often happens to equipment when there is any sort of vibration. I will just ensure that all screws are as tight as possible and check them a little more regularly before I use it. As a 69 yo female I think I can use this properly. TY for your video.

      Great, thanks for the note, I'm glad the video was helpful! I do think this edger is put together pretty well and that you could get good use out of it if you take care of it.

    I love this product as an owner of a blower, weed eater/edger, and hedger it's great because I can use the same batteries for all equipment. I also don't use the guard for the weed eater/ edger. Plus the maneuvering and height movement is great. I buy the higher volt batteries that allow me to edge and weed eat 4 yards front and back plus non-stop edging and weed eating yards rotating my batteries. The only thing I wish worx had was a waist pouch for battery storage to switch out batteries faster without pulling them out of my pocket 😂.

      Thanks for the note and letting us know about your experience! Are you able to make sure the string is wound properly to keep it from jamming?

      @@jamminjamy How do you know if it is wound properly? I plan to buy the extra spools, but just in case it would be helpful to know how to wind it. Thanks.

    The line feed is horrible. Going back to Amazon. Maybe mine is garbage. Buy quality not block or craftsman. I had horrible experience with them.

      Thanks for the note did you use the pre-wound spools or did you wind the spools yourself?
