I'm bottle necked in some specific area but the GPU still can be the bottle neck most of the times, which is crazy. Great vid Kid-o, And God i feel old now XD in 2006 i was in my 20's ¯\_(ヅ)_/¯ Ah the good ol'PSP, i got the one i still have on Launch day, which game i bought ummm forget THB. but i loved the thing. The analog stick is Borked on it now tho sadly, i will fix it one day. Tho to be fair i use my Vita <yes i still play it and take it with me when going somewhere i know i need something to kill time> Rather use it than the Crap Pay games on IOS or Android. As for the TV, i couldn't tell if that was a CRT or HDTV, but when the psp was new, most people still had a CRT TV, which wouldn't make it PS2 level of graphics, but probably hid most of the pixelyness <i know that's not a word >:p > and made it look abit more Smooth. <Also i love First person in a racing game, if i have a inside the car view, becuse.. ya know i drive my car from 5 feet behind it XD> "Found on Reddit" uh-huh ;)~ sure sure i have the Entirety of Netflix's Castlevania on my Vita, Love me some portable Weebtoons XD. <Hides Terabytes of Anime> DOA Paradise is basically a cut down DOA Beach Volleyball from the OG Xbox Man FF3 on the PSP was a great little game, if you use ppsspp and upscale and smooth it, it looks Fantastic TBH. And i would call it a Remastered Remake. Salma Hayek - Absolutely, Jessica Alba - Ehhhh Gotta disagree with ya their Chief <To each their own tho> And as to buying a PSP in 2024? nah, get a Vita if ya want the Same thing but Better, is my Opinion.

They come from the same factories as ASUS and MSI mainboards come from. So quality should be a non brainer. Anyways I found out that the X79 boards work (for me) better then the X99 ones. I "downgraded" to exactly this board and love it. Also it takes V2 CPU's which per default arent supported from X79 chipsets.

HEDT was a consumer platform. 6:12: I'm not sure why you're drawing an arbitrary line with the 2600K/3930K. Nahelem is considered the first mainstream/HEDT bifurcation, with 1366 (Bloomfield) offering more total RAM and more RAM channels (3 channels vs 2 on Lynnfield) alongside *massively* more expensive CPUs and motherboard options. 6:33 "More densely-packed cores on a die." Um, no. If anything, the HEDT CPUs had *less* densely-packed cores due to the mainstream chips using the bleeding-edge manufacturing process. You could say "More cores under the heat spreader" or "more cores per socket", but it's objectively false to say HEDT ever had the most densely-packed cores. Part of the fundamental design limitations of HEDT was the necessitation of Mesh topology instead of ring topology... which saw the cores spread farther apart at the expense of latency (hence why they're worse for gaming, which is latency-sensitive.) You keep saying consumer... they're both consumer. The delineations are consumer and enterprise / mainstream and enthusiast (or mainstream and HEDT). The -E in Broadwell/Haswell/Skylake/etc-E *literally* stands for enthusiast. (Enthusiasts are consumers, btw.) 8:00: AMD competing with Core 2 Duo is certainly a retcon. AMD was blindsided by the Core architecture and my bleeding-edge AM2 system was made instantaneously obsolete. Phenom barely competed at all, only being somewhat competitive-ish when considering a 6-core Phenom II vs a quad core Intel. Once you realized the Intel could comfortably overclock by 20%+, it was obvious which to buy. 8:53: "While it [Bulldozer] had 6 cores at the top-end..." The FX series launched with a 4, 6, and 8 core CPU. FX-8120 was the 8-core. All launched on the same day, October 12, 2011. 10:38: Because Intel's numbering scheme reflected the year it was produced, not the underlying architecture. The same applies to AMD's current numbering scheme (hence why AMD laptop CPUs are always numbered higher than their Zen revision equivalent desktop parts.) You seem kind of obsessed about Intel hiding things behind a "paywall". That's, quite literally, all computer parts since their invention. More cache? Paywall. Faster frequency/more cores/more RAM channels? Paywall. (Also: more CUDA cores/More stream Processors/More dual-core AMD Bulldozer modules: paywall.) Yes, you spend more and you can get more. 12:25: "There's no reason the memory controller can't handle DDR4, no reason at all." Um, are you serious or sarcasm? DDR4 has a completely different pinout in the RAM sockets, more pins on the CPU were required for DDR4 vs DDR3, DDR3 has much tighter CAS and other latency timings that a DDR4 controller wouldn't be able to match as it's designed for ~50% higher frequency at the expense of looser timings. DDR3 and DDR4 operate at significantly different voltages. What a delusional comment. 13:38 "First gen Ryzen wasn't beating Intel"... if you're myopic enough to only focus on GaMiNg and nothing else. They were beating Intel on workstation performance, decompression, value per core, video editing (excepting QuickSync), and photo editing. 15:35 "DDR4 could go up to 32 or 64 GB"... per stick? DDR4 supports 128GB over 4 DIMMs. "For a gamer..." (HEDT was... repeat after me... NEVER INTENDED FOR GAMERS.) 18:20: your "conclusion" that HEDT was "manufactured" by Intel is ignorant to how HEDT buyers actually used their computers. The arrival of DDR4 made >4 core CPUs doable on mainstream platforms where DDR3 struggled. The extra PCIE lanes were a basic necessity for anyone who needed 3 or more add-in cards. The additional features were also important enough that they saw what? A decade of sales? 18:37 "Jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." is the complete proverb. It means the opposite of the point you're trying to make here. 21:18 "I'm not really sure about too much of anything." You said it. 25:00: That's SATA Express 25:15: It has far more PCIE connectivity than a mainstream platform and each PCIE card is allowed to draw up to 75 watts (Graphics, high-power) or 25 watts (standard high-power). The 24-pin connector only supplies 150 watts to the PCIE slots. You have how many x16 slots there? 4. Is 4x 75 more than 150? What about 2x 75 (two graphics cards) and 2x 25 (two high-power, non-graphics devices)? Is that more or less than 150? How about 4 graphics cards and all three x1 slots populated (max 25 watts in high-power mode)? Is that, again, more or less than 150 watts? 25:36: The chipset cooling has zero to do with overclocking. The chipset provides all of the connectivity that you mindlessly dismissed because it doesn't help with GaMiNg peformance. 26:00: M.2 E-key Wireless adapter. 27:18: F is the Fast Boot button. BIOS flasthback was automated by the use of a USB stick in the... 27:50: The white USB port for BIOS flashback. 28:20: Literally none of the connectivity requires the enthusiast platform. It's all run through the same DMI link as the mainstream platform. The *ONLY* connectivity that it provides is: quad-channel memory, up to 40 lanes of PCI-E 3.0, and a DMI 2.0 x4 link. *Everything* else is provided by the chipset, which could be accomplished by... any mainstream platform which ran the same DMI 2.0 x4 (and later DMI 3.0 x4) link and chipset. 28:40 "All stuff you can get on server-level boards." Yeah, at MANY *MANY* times the cost. Have you looked at pricing for the server parts when this came out? You acted the entire way through this as though there was a 'good, better, best' like small, medium, and large fries where 40 cents more gets you twice as many fries. There's a yearning chasm between mainstream and enterprise/server equipment. You seem to be conflating the depreciated price of Xeon parts vs old -E enthusiast parts with what they cost at the time. You could, quite literally, build an entire computer around HEDT for less than an octo-core Xeon at the time. "It's redundant." It wasn't at the time. 33:00 "Testing" an HEDT platform by doing what? Oh, right... GaMiNg, got it. HEDT wasn't and isn't "DUMB". Given the context of the time, before NVENC was a reasonable alternative (early implementations were poor), you needed either a capture card, a multi-core (>4) CPU, or both. Many SATA ports was beneficial to home servers and workstations (at a time when LSI HBA cards were extremely expensive and off-brand alternatives were(/are) largely garbage.) If you wanted >1Gb networking, you'd need a x8 slot for something like an Intel/Mellanox 10Gb. If you wanted the Quad SLI functionality that this boards was *LITERALLY SOLD FOR* (hence the spacing of the PCIe x16 slots and the incldued 2, 3, and 4-way bridge connectors), you'd need this platform. Blaming Intel for engineering a solution which necessitated a higher cost and selling it at a higher cost is just silly. Shortly after DDR4 proliferated, >4 core CPUs were common. If you think Intel releasing the 8700K was a "response" to the 1700 just a year prior, I simply can't help you understand that these products are planned *at minimum* 4 years in advance of availability. You simply don't understand the context of what it was used for. You don't understand that there was a huge gap to be filled and a major profit to be made by Intel. You don't understand the limitations of DDR3 (as demonstrated by your earlier comment about how Intel could magic DDR4 support into a DDR3 product). I'm as far way from an Intel apologist as you'll find. I made my first real income selling custom built Socket 939 AMD machines, later AM2, then Core. Intel cheated AMD by colluding with prebuilt manufacturers and offering kickbacks before Intel were sued and had to fork over $1.25 billion dollars to AMD (which largely financed Ryzen). HEDT was a product that made complete and total sense for more than a decade. It made sense to enthusiasts. It made sense to workstation users. It lives on in the form of TRX40/80, ThreadRipper, Threadripper Pro, and Intel's Xeon W. I hope you do a *lot* more research before your next video.

the only way less pcie is ok for gamers is if GPU has SRIOV! which gpu on consumer level does not! so PCIe lanes are bloody important for gamers!
