3:59 This is at least the 4th time I'm coming back to this video and I still can't figure out why the ID44 has the cheaper and older AKM converters like the ID4. And why does the 880 and 800 has DIFFERENT Burr Brown converters? Why is better? What about the MKII that I got? Does it have the Same Burr Brown converters as the 880 or the 800? I really like my ID14 MKII but this is so confusing The console sounded the best and I can only hear it with my newish monitors.
Inspirational <3
Love this
I use them anywhere I can...! learning their differing characteristics and placing them accordingly! Wonderful things....
Prefer the sound of old one. I get that the new one would cut more.
Is there a way to capture the output of a DAW and input it into Skype using either the ID4 v2 or Evo 4? I want to add some VST compression and reverb to a Mic stream. I own several daws so this seems the way to go. So the path would be Mic, Daw input, VST effect, Daw output, Skype input.
On Windows this is possible, you'd just set the Loop-back mixer so it is capturing the output from your DAW and then set the input channels of Skype to the Audient Loop-back input channels. This isn't possible on macOS however as Skype for macOS doesn't let you specify the input channel you are using. If you need more information, send a message to support@audient.com and our team can help you!
But... why wouldn't you use the same head? Of course it sounds different it's a different material, different brand etc...
Isnt the new one uncoated? The sound would be different since they arent the same type of head
bought sucked so it doesnt make that much of a difference
Is this compatible with Davinci Resolve?
Yes, ORIA will work with Davinci Resolve and its Built in Renderer, however currently it's not possible to cycle through the downmix options of Resovlves' renderer using the Downmix button on ORIA. This is something we hope to add soon though.
Hi Audient, Is it possible to use Audient Asio Driver inside OBS or ZOOM for online keyboarf tutorial? I want to capture the audio from my DAW with OBS. Most audio interface needs 3rd plugin for it. The only interface that can load its ASIO driver inside OBS or ZOOM, only Steinberg 22c as far. Please answer, TIA
I don't belive its possible to use ASIO drivers in OBS or Zoom as they only support the Windows System Audio (WASAPI, MME, Directx...etc) It is possible to capture audio from your DAW however using the loop-back channels even when not using the ASIO driver. Send a message to support@audient.com and we can walk you through how you would set this up, or check out the Loop-back videos on our channel!
Game audio professional. Just received my Oria this week. Disappointed that I cannot export multichannel and import to the Oria on Windows. The messaging is clear that only Left and Right channels are calibrated but the rest are not. I have done 2 40 minute measurements for 5.1. You should clearly state Windows was is not fully supported yet.
Hello, Thank you for your message. As you mentioned, the Sonarworks Integration on Windows is not yet available to allow you to export your profiles into ORIA and this is stated on the driver download page for ORIA. Sonarworks are currently working on this and we hope that full Windows integration will be available very soon.
Hello, I have a question, I connect a focusrite to my id24 through adat with 2 optical cables, the software turns the light green but no audio enters any of the 8 digital channels, do I have to configure something from the Audient software? Thank you
If you've got a green clock light then your iD setup should be correct. Have you setup the Focusrite so that it will send audio from its inputs to its optical outputs?
@@Audientworld ahhh I didn't do that, do I have to do it from the Focusrite software? because I can't connect the board to the pc because it is firewire
It does depend on the Focusrite model you are using but some of them do require you to configure the routing before it can be used as a standalone pre-amp. I'd recommend checking with the Focusrite support team
In some cases it is good to make OH's tighter than hard wide panning, imagine real concert stage for this purpose.
I would advice folks to stay away from purchasing any Audient products since their online product registration is not working. Tried registering a product multiple times and kept receiving a message that said product wasn't registered. I even had to reset my password at one point.👎🏾🤨
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with product registration. There are no issues with our registration system at the moment but if you are having difficulty with the process, please send a message to support@audient.com with your product serial number and PIN, and we'll be able to resolve this for you.
I have a question, when I move the volume knob of the headphones, nothing is indicated with the LEDs that surround the knob. Is this normal or does nothing light up there?
The Meter LEDs will only show the level of the Main volume control when you adjust it. The headphone knob does not show the level on the Meter LEDs.
Noooo, flip the drums around, make it audience-perspective!
Hahaha, I wrote this having paused on the picture. I'm glad you brought it up. But NO. audience perspective = the right way hahaha
Do I understand correctly that the line 3/4 can be used for reamping then?
Yes, if you have a re-amp box then you can certainly use Outputs 3+4 for this purpose.
What is if have a left handed drummer? That their perspective is the right handed drummer’s audience perspective. 😂
Hello, my id4 is not showing up as a device on my computer (windows 11)
Can you please check the USB connection and possibly try new USB ports and cables? If you are using a hub or adaptor, can you instead try plugging the interface in directly to the computer? If you are still having issues, please do send a message to support so our team can help you!
Can someone tell me why my NT2 keeps picking up a buzzy sound through the ID4? It has nothing to do with the interface itself, but i made so much songs, until last night? I mean wtf im going crazy cause of this bad frequencies?!
This sounds like a grounding or interference issue. Can you please send a short sample to support@audient.com and our team can help you troubleshoot this.
I just got the evo 8. I feel like the headphone monitoring is a bit low. I tested it on beyerdynamics 770 studio 80 ohm and the audio technica ath-m50 as well and get the same results. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, any suggestions?
Could you send a screenshot of your mixer settings to supprot@audient.com and we can see what could be causing that?
I think on if some rock type of instruments will be added if pop or more tame then off.
I just purchased id4 audio interface. But I can't record my voice and guitar at the same time. Could you guide me? Thank you
This will likely be settings in your DAW or recording software, can you please send a message to support@audient.com and our team can help you with your setup?
Chingon 🎉
Will it work with iPad 10 generation if fully bus powered
iD24 is not officially support on iOS devices I'm afraid
How can I switch between studio monitors and headphones in ID22? I have sound only on my headphones and not monitors. I'm going crazy here. Can somebody help me please?
This is likely a mixer setting that needs adjusting. Can you please send a message to support@audient.com with screenshots of your current setup and our team will try to help!
@@Audientworld I solved my problem already but thanks for a reply!
Hello Audient's, im about to get this interface, but is there any different between input gain of id4 and id14 mk2?
The Mic inputs on both iD4 and iD14 MKII have +58dB of gain. The DI input of iD4 MKII has +40dB of gain whereas the DI input on iD14 MKII has +58dB of gain. I hope this helps!
@@Audientworld But i saw in manual iD14 mk2 has only 40db on instrument input which i downloaded from Audients website, so which one was correct, or is there any mistake? Because I have to decide between those interface.
Hello, that does appear to be a mistake in the manual so I will ensure that it is updated shortly. The DI input on iD14 MKII does have +58dB of gain
wow marco i neeed someone make the music to me when i'm singing
Experience in spatial audio will also become an important skill in the future of immersive video for the Apple Vision Pro + Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera.
Love her voice, both in her rock and pop songs
Thinking of getting one, but please someone answer this: How do I mute my XLR microphone on the fly? Like, can't there be a function assigned on the ID button? Is talkback a thing on the ID4? Perhaps I am missing somehting or there is no way to momentarily mute the mic input on the ID4?
Hello, i'm afraid that the iD4 doesn't a Mute function on its inputs. If you do need this function, I would reccomend the EVO 4 or EVO 8 instead as you can easily mute inputs by pressing and holding the channel buttons.
@@Audientworld thanks for the reply. Beautiful piece of hardware, no doubt... You guys decide what's best, but an interface like this should not lack a significant option such as a dedicated mute button for mic inputs. All the best 🙏🏻
What neck pickup is that?
I do love me a ringy snare tho!
Within reason! This was miced from 12 inches away, i'm sure you wouldn't want that much ring with a mic in close...
Why you spend time with pro tools…. Other daws just work plug n play…. There’s nothing pro about these tools anymore,,, Great interface by the way. Cheers
HI, I just bought an evo 8 and the screen reader for the app is defaulted to on. I looked up the knowledge base, and the ctrl shift - command doesn't turn down the narration volume. The narrator is completely turned off in windows. I can't see how to turn the narration off in EVO app. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
Thats a little strange as the voiceover shouldn't be on by default. If you haven't already, could you send a message to support@audient.com and our team will be able to help you.
iOS/iPadOS support?
iD14 isn't officially supported on iOS/iPadOS I'm afriad

Hello, how do you change the headphone volume from the ID Mixer software? The big knob on the ID Mixer only lets me change the speaker volume. I can change the headphone volume on my ID14 MKII Audio Interface but would like to also be able to change it on the ID Mixer software, is this possible? Thanks
Currently it's not possible to adjust the headphone volume from the iD app, only the speaker volume. This is something we hope to add in a future update however!
Hello Audient! I love my id44… but… I’m really surprised at how low the general volume is even when I twirl the large knob and have the levels very close to the top red row of lights. I’ve even thought that maybe I need some kind of amplifier between the 1L and 2R outputs and my Adam TV8’s - which can handle much more volume than the id44 seems to put out. Mind you, the volume at the top isn’t too bad for listening at a regular level. But many times my friends and I want to listen to what we’ve recorded… and the level just doesn’t fill the room. I have the speakers all the way up. My little Focusrite was capable of being louder than this! It’s absolutely terrific in all respects… I just wish it had more power. Is there something I’m not doing that’s in the Mixer ID section? Thank you!
The max output level should be +18dBU which should be pretty loud on most active speakers. Can you please send a screenshot of your iD mixer to support@audient.com and our team can help you with any potential setup problems?
I don't have CoreAudio I just have ASIO and then in ASIO I can select Audient USB Audio ASIO Driver - is this ok or do I need to be able to see Core Audio in my Driver Type?
Core Audio is only available on macOS. If you are on Windows then you'd want to use ASIO for the best results!
@@Audientworld thank you! That solves it 😊
Just purchase this masterpiece ❤🙏🏻
i can't unhear it... because i can't hear it.
i guess, he's just trolling.
A question. I have a new id24, the -10db switch how is supposed to work? Is on when on the left? Because if I put it to the right I got more gain and is attenuated on the left of the switch
On the iD24, switching the -10dB switch to the right will reduce the input level by -10dB. If your switch is showing different behaviour, however, can you send a message to support@audient.com so we can investigate?
@@Audientworld ok! I’ll try again next time on both of my machines and then I’ll report to that mail 👍
