I was not born when Pob was shown and to be fair I am kind of glad I was not because I find Pob rather sinister and I am 34 years old, had I seen that at 2 years old I probably would have run crying from the living room.
The train was 507002. After the derailment, no major damage was made to the train (Unlike 507006 at Kirkby, which went for scrap afterwards). So future wise, they have added a new livery onto the train. Now titled Hope University Train. Although since the new Class 777s have entered service, this train is now scrapped. Sad times.
I'm 63 and still waiting for a DVD release.
Who's hear after BBC's "The Reunion"? Esther Rantzen, what a wonderful woman.. She's dealing with her terminal cancer diagnosis with the same good grace, humour and forthright intellect. ❤
“Avec aircon”
RIP John Savidant (Fred Elliot) who died in real life on 21st February 2024
This train is still in use
It was after the accident but went for scrap a couple of weeks ago
Fred was a legend i said he was a legend,

Nasty, nasty HORRIBLE vile woman............

Title is WRONG I know as a lad i went to this school it's brother/ sister building on Glovers Lane BOTH LONG GONE!!! Both were called Warrick Bolam SECONDARY MODERN COLDITZ ( to me ) & this one was THE GRAMMER of same name & we use to beat the living 💩 out of St Thomas Mcquinnas ( excuse my spelling error) Almost every week. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
pretty sure this was the countess , the wogga is where the nac is...by the eden vale
Defo Warwick Bolam I remember it well 😊
@@chriskeller4563 Chris I think i vaguely remember you being at that school But, i can't be a full 100% due to some issues i have now. But, can you remember which classes you was in when you attended them. Because as i have mentioned my mind is far from perfect & sadly no sign of improving.
I remember geography with peg leg Mr McDonald lol , an PE with Mr Williams I think 🤔 an woodwork with Mr Oliver 🤣
Sausages!
this is from the box set?
ester - the 'sincerity' almost as wonderful as her hairdo...
I loved this show, it was my childhood
I am so glad that I have no fecking idea what was going on.
Its a parody of French humour and TV, they really were like this in the 90s and 2000s
Fred Elliott's first scene in Coronation Street too! Started with a bang!
I remember watching That's Life when growing up. Here I would have been twenty four and wishing it hadn't ended. The theme tune is in C minor (I have a very good memory for tunes!)
The Hanwell version is indeed in C minor but when the programme started the theme SONG was vocal (sung at some time by Stephanie de Sykes) in F minor with Tony Kinsey's in-studio band
@@derekstuartclark I didn't know that, Derek, having never heard or encountered that version. But if I had, the difference would have been clear. I can tell the difference between C minor and F minor as I have perfect pitch!
But i wonder if pob,s will realease season 2 but am thinking how it will comeback did anyone has a good idea to teaser season 2 trailer ?
Currently pob,s is my favorite show and i want pob,s to bring back this but and becuse it,s my favorite show
Maybe John Major had a thing for her as well as Edwina Currie. Two Jewish birds, I suppose it's possible.
_a brass band, where's the.coke and strippers._ 🐢💨
train you got the wrong kirk
I am not surprised if these adverts boosted sales and made you want to drink it.
LIved in Columban Close, when we had The Tommies, Warwich Bolam, Countess of Derby and the Catherines all now gone, not to mention the Holy Ghost club and Church gone along with the Cabbage.
With the class 508, youll be going nowhere
I hate that programme. Too creepy.
Shite
Merseryrail more like Merseyfail
1:22 the ragdoll plush is cute <3
Not to be confused with the Kiss nightclub in Brazil that burned down in a fire that killed over 200 people… RIP to all who died that night.
Is she going to take a little nibble on Fred's blood sausage?
it was the school I was indoctrinated at and 40 years later I woke up to the words "teach a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it", I did depart.
“Trains always derail at Kirkby” Me: Train, think you got the wrong kirk.
what is it with kirkby? 2 derails here in total now
This is really good content
Was it at one time called Warwick bolam
Ye ye was Warwick up until 84/85 my last yr. joined countess an became Bootle high.
@@dawnfinn6665 I left there in 1980
@@chriskeller4563 I left in May 1977 ( I THINK!!!🤔) I really can't remember. But, i think it was that year.
My last day I had a ride on a fizzy 125 down the long corridor straight down to Holmes office 🤣 🤣
When was Bruce Willis in Corrie?
I’d have loved Bruce Willis in Corrie! Lol
What I heard was BBC one had a new controller Mr yentob he axed the show
This is exactly what we think of as French humour
Ahh the French.. Take something good and make it shit. Classic.
I HATE Sue Nicholls, I say I HATE Sue Nicholls.
The bedroom pissing was the one to own coz it came with a seedy player!
In retrospect I realise now that Brexit was inevitable.
can't believe this , someone from netherton owned a camcorder in the 90's
Yeah they did exist but, video quality was not as these more modern types are. But, without the right equipment these old videos done on old cameras would never be seen by others. Not now or ever.
Five pace roll at the beginning. Played by Guards musicians?
He likes a blood sausage I say he likes a blood sausage.

I always to the Hattie part of the music to reflect her size. Anyone else get that?
yea thought that myself
Heh
Yeah. The subtext of the low notes. Reminds me of when Reginald Perrin sees his mother in law as a hippo
Yup, this looks like french "comedy".
