I just watched The Aristocats again today Add The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969) and That Darn Cat to your live action Disney list. Saw them on The Wonderful World of Disney show on tv. That's Abraham de Lacy Giuseppe Casey Thomas O'Malley the alley cat to you. 😉 Little John is Phil Harris who also voiced Blaoo. Oh I love The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under. Bob Newhart as Bernard and ZsaZsa Gabor as Bianca. They were mice.😊

People used to leave socks for Dobby but then they had to stop that practice, so now people leave rocks. Also, in the book, the Gemino curse makes items multiply and either also burned you when touching the item or it was another spell that did that, I can't recall. They don't really show that bit in it, although there were a few times that Hermione cried out so that may have been the extent of the portrayal of being burned - because also after getting out of the water, Hermione puts that Essense of Dittany on everyone to heal them from the burns. The cat alarm, in the book was referred to a 'caterwauling charm' which was started at curfew.

In the books, they explain better how the Trio were found after disapparating from the party. Voldemort placed a jinx on his name. If anyone speaks his name then it breaks all enchantments and allows the death eaters to apparate instantly to their location. The only people brave enough to utter Voldemort's name were the Order of the Phoenix and such. It's why partway through the movie, the Trio stops calling him by his name and switching back to using 'You Know Who'. There was a deleted scene I believe that showed Ron telling them about the jinx, but I guess they saw fit to cut it :/ I wish they'd had more stuff on Kreacher - in the book he has more of a redemption arc and because warm and caring to the Trio. I also kind of feel like it was foreshadowing Harry telling dobby 'never save my life again' cause it cost him his life in the end.

Snape also shows a bit of care towards Harry when during the first incident with the cat, Snape said to Dumbledore 'Perhaps Potter was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?' You brought up the fact that Harry could have wingardium leviosa'd the rocks away to get Ron to come with him - I had to laugh at that because it reminds me of another time in the series this happens and I only say this now because I have seen you've seen all of them so it's not a spoiler now! But in this one - Hermione uses 'Immobulous' on the pixies - why in hell doesn't she use it against the Whomping Willow in Prisoner of Azkaban - You can tell that Professor Lupin uses it on the tree to get into the shrieking shack to join with Sirius!

I have no problems with Snow White. Some people just don't seem to understand watching or reading something in the context of *when* it was made. To see how much civilization and society has grown you *have* to look at all the stages of the growth and change. It also helps to learn from the mistakes of the past so you don't repeat them.

Favorites are The Aristocats then Robin Hood for me. Must be in part 2. Bagheera was the panther in Jungle Book and it was King Louie. Least favorite is Fantasia.

I love these films!! It's funny because both of them play shitty characters in both films. 'You Got Mail' Tom Hanks manipulated Meg Ryan into falling for him & 'Sleepless In Seattle' Meg Ryan chasing after a whole other dude while she in a whole relationship.
