We are a small group of South Alabama dirt bike riders. Some of us are new to trail riding and some of us haven't been on a bike in too many years to count. Join us as we wreck our way through trails around the South East. All we can promise is mediocre videos, sub-par riding, and way too many crashes.

28 Miles in the Woods - Rattlesnake Bay

Today we tackled the long 28 mile loop at Rattlesnake Bay OHV. Slick is the best way to describe this ride. The first part of the ride started somewhat dry, but we find the mud at the halfway mark. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comment section. Thanks for watching!

Where do you find parts for these older gas gas bikes? RockyMountain doesn't sell any for the Pre KTM era gas gas's
This bike was sold pretty quickly after the rebuild. Finding parts was one of the main concerns. Good luck on your parts hunt!

Hey, i live near this trail and just started ridding public trails. I went by to visit and couldnt see where to pay. Where did you pay to park? I went to another atv trail further south called bethel ohv trail and couldnt find anywgere to oay either. I was mainly just scouting and wanted to see if they are kept cleaned or not, but now im planning to ride at least one soon.
@@lilmancc35bethel ohv is awesome, drive in the gate and take a left the south trail entrance is right there
I can't understand, you ride on real offroad trails with real dirt bikes, and still made this (i don't even know how to name this sandbox) that 50cc scooter can complete Waste of space and time -_-
Late comment, but i had the same break on my KTM 200 XCW. Was tightening the inner clutch basket, and it broke the exact same way. Im cheap so I just left it, and haven't had any problems with it. Great video.

Great ride fellas! We tackled part of Stoney Lonesome in our Ranger XP1000 crew, but our sons are wanting to start riding their own rides. Did you guys enjoy the trails on your bikes? Did you find any of the climbs too steep?
Late response, but some of the climbs were steep and slick. Pretty sure I dumped the 200 in one of these videos. We did skip a few hills here because of this, but there is plenty of other trails to ride!

So I have a 2004 250 exc and want to get that newer fender on there. So you just needed to drill the holes
Yep that’s it. Just drill the holes. I believe KTM changed their orange somewhere around 2017. So pick a fender older than that to match your other plastics. I think I mention what year I bought in the video. Thanks for watching!
@@BamaEnduroRiders any idea if when you put on the newer fender it allows you to get a newer style headlight on there too
@@mx25_kingz88 I am not sure on the headlight, but the newer number plate mounted just fine. There was a little more tilt to the plate as the fender sits slightly forward, but it mounted fine.

Most of us live around Mobile. We have ridden as far North as Birmingham and frequent spots in south MS and Meridian MS. We have posted several ride videos of the places we ride. Check them out for more information on them.
I have a KTM 200 exc 2005 great bike and is great for enduro Parts are very easy aswell

So how are you liking the 08 Gasser? Are you keeping it and gonna throw some $ into it? How do you like it compared to any newer bikes?
How did you install the rear fender? My one looks like it isn’t straight
It installs with a hollow flat nut and bolt and it hooks on the end of the subframe. Be sure your fender properly slid into the end of the subframe.

@@BamaEnduroRiders yeah that’s what I thought too but nope it’s a bent subframe I’ve been hitting it with a rubber mallet all day and hasn’t nudged

Would the 2020 front fender still be able to fit my 2006 ktm 300
I’m not sure. It may require modifications. KTM also changed their color somewhere around 2017. The newer orange won’t quite match the older orange.

where did you get those those shroud graphics? I have an 07 XC-WF 250 with those graphics. your bike looks so good with those graphics and the rest of the bike was built very well

We go there often with our atv's. It's a blast to ride there and it is ever evolving with new trails here and there. It's nice to have a nearby place to ride.Try it,,, you might like it. !!

that place looked like a bunch of fun, especially with the moisture. 300 looks like it is working well, the intro crash was a bit gnarly. Uhhhh!

Where did you get your graphics
The tank graphics are the OEM 2007 KTM 200xc graphics. The fender graphics were purchased from Rocky Mountain ATV.

They came with the bike but you can order them at places like Rocky Mountain ATV

Agreed, I was just there on my 300xc. About 10 years ago there was an intense motocross track where the big pond is and I grew up racing there. I’m glad to see the land still being used to ride on.
