SMART WATER....is it as pure as we are led to believe???

Vapour distilled water should not contain any dissolved solids, boiling the water to evaporate it leaves any contaminants/solids behind in the boiling vessel. the steam that is contained in the collecting vessel then condenses back into pure water as it cools. somebody somewhere is not being truthful about this particular brand of water...what exactly are the 194 different dissolved solids????

I wanna do a mod so that he can look up further with his helmet on so it looks better ib a flight position any tips?
@@ThePhoenixrider89 hi, thanks for watching, yes, I would cut about 1mm off the neck opening (after removing the bar bell) and Dremel/cut/sand down the neck around the back, do a little at a time, check the fit/articulation and remove a little at a time until your happy with the articulation. I used a rotary tool (Dremel) with a nylon round brush, don't use a lot of pressure, let the brush do the work and take your time. Let me know how it goes. But remember...a little at a time, you can always take more off...but if you take too much off it's a nightmare (but not impossible) to replace material (if you do remove too much, it can be replaced with green stuff and repainted) I hope this helps 👍🏻 edit: I just got home and had a look at mine with the helmet on, maybe trying a longer bar bell, then heat it up carefully and curve it in the middle to get the helmet to tilt back further might be an option.
@@trooperwolfie thanks for the info. I dont have a tool besides something like scissors lol so cant drill...
@@ThePhoenixrider89 you can probably pick up a cheap rotary tool from a shop like Lidl, Aldi or similar stores depending where you live. You could also use a scalpel/exacto knife to careful remove material.

I’ve just bought what looks like the same fryer today from Morrisons and was just about to return after reading the instructions where it said to not use animal fat, but my intention was to only use beef dripping. Going to give it a go 😊 Question: how often do you change the fat? I’ve never owned a fryer before so a little clueless!
@@KirstySayles so far, I've not completely replaced it. I filter the oil after its cooled slightly using coffee filter papers and kitchen roll. I've never had any problems with the beef dripping in my fryer, don't worry about it 👍🏻 just be careful if filtering/changing the oil as it'll obviously have to be warm/hot to still be in liquid form. Cleaning the bits/fat residue is really easy with kitchen roll and a plastic scraper, much easier than with seed oils. Thanks for watching and commenting, let me know how you get on 👍🏻
@@trooperwolfie thank you for your response that’s really helpful! We had our first go at chips and they were delightful. Once the fat has been filtered can you just leave in the fryer for next time or does it have to be stored in another way?
@@KirstySayles no worries 👍🏻 I leave my fat in the fryer, it solidifies overnight, but it melts quickly when re heated, I melt it on low heat first then turn up the heating to what's needed once the fat is liquid.

Lovely work this mate. You should start up offering yourself for model commissions.
So sorry you had to cut your trip short, glad you and Ella got home safe though. Like you said, the Pennine Way isn't going anywhere so you'll be back. I laughed when you talked about how your age catches up with you, I'm 50 in December and I feel it, mostly in terms of how much easier I get injured at the gym. Thankfully cardio fitness is something that can be improved at any age. I am also a Doctor dodger, I would only go if I was dying tbh,I try to keep healthy via good food, vitamins and excercise and it's served me well so far 👍
Thanks buddy 😊, I also dodge the "doctors" when I can....my trust in them has been shaken over the years, they don't always get things right. Yep, "the way" isn't going anywhere, we'll be back at it at some point 👍🏻
There’s always next time. Not to worry. Hope she has a speedy recovery. Same happened to me in the Wessenden Valley in 2021. Walked off a mile on a broken ankle…folks asking if I needed mountain rescue 😂 not a bloody chance. I’d rather crawl off with my eyelids than be carried off by my former team mates.
Haha, thanks Ray, yeah, same here, unless I'm unconscious I'm making my own way off the hill, even if it takes forever lol
@@trooperwolfie I’ve been carried off once. Got claimed by 6 different MRTs on their incident stats. In my defence it did happen during a training exercise hence the 6 team involvement and I did make a good effort at getting down but was stopped by some really bad terrain

Great scenery and perfect conditions. How much of the Pennine Way are you intending on walking?
We were going to do the whole thing back to edale, but my daughter injured her ankle coming down byrness hill on the scramble section, so it might be the end for now. Very disappointing, especially for Ella, she's absolutely gutted. We'll get her ankle checked in Newcastle tomorrow, we're at the hostel in byrness ATM.

I wonder how much of what the meter measured is the BPA from the plastic, leeching in to the water?
It certainly will be some, apparently pure water draws out the micro plastics easier than contaminated water. It's amazing isn't it...nothing we are told seems to be true...
Have you tried Valley and Peak for a ground sheet
They only appear to do the standard Durston ones that only cover the floor of the inner, I'm after a full rectangle one that can be pegged out first to get the tent totally rectangular and cover the porch floors, there is a young lady on the internet that makes footprints to order. Thanks for the suggestion though, it's much appreciated. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Cheers im going to give this a go. My seam has come off practically 90% on the door of my tent.
I hope it works ok for you, thanks for watching and commenting ☺️
@@trooperwolfie jworked a charm, I did crumble up one tiny bit of the seam where I was a bit over zealous. But apart from that it was all good. Cheers!
My parents and grandparents all used beef dripping and butter along with full fat milk and all of them lived into their 90’s. I remember my dad saying years ago to never use seed oils or take any notice of the so called health experts. I ditched all these oils a while back and took their advice and now food tastes so much better.
Food Definitely tastes far better 👍🏻 I've suffered from a schatzki ring (scar tissue restricting the diameter of my esophagus) caused by acid reflux over the years, as well as taking apple cider vinegar, I stopped consuming seed oils, ever since, I've had hardly any heart burn and my food no longer gets stuck like it used to. I stopped taking pharmaceutical products as well, and I feel much better for it......and real chips have never tasted better lol. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated 😊

Aup mate, with new seems do you iron on, and about a previous comment, im sure the grease proof does have two sides-a paper fiber side and a film side i pressume its film side down.
Hello there, my grease proof paper is the same both sides, I've never had a problem with tape sticking. With new seams, it depends on the material, if it's sil-nylon you need to use silicon sealant and brush it on. If it's P.U. coated on the inside you can use new seam tape. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@trooperwolfie well that is a good question it's Hytex SPU-SLDR Nylon (the old tbs micro). I'm lead to believe it is a more polyester thing.
If it feels more than an old balloon I'll have to throw silicon sealant also on the glue of the seams?
@@MrLamphy only if it's sil nylon, if it's pu coated nylon, just use tape 👍🏻

Love these customs really makes me want some of these resistance guys from hasbro. The helmet paint looks way better than the andor clone too.
Thanks buddy, yes, it would be nice if Hasbro did more clones like these, it wouldn't be difficult for them. The andor helmet is easily corrected with a wooden tooth pick and some tamiya semi gloss black paint, for some reason the visor print never fills the mould for the visor, and they always forget to paint the bleach rectangle panel on the back. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
