Ray’s is an awesome place with features for everyone! All skills and ages! I frequent with my son who is 12 and he loves it. Here you have a complete lap on the green loop which they call the flow trail. I’m riding a 2022 Specialized Chisel Comp 29’er with flat pedals and a PNW 170mm dropper down all the way the whole ride. No sitting here!!! Enjoy!

Doing a little FPV trucking while sitting inside my house after a pretty major snowstorm. The Summit is the perfect FPV ground vehicle. It is plush, doesn’t roll, has 2 speeds, has remote locking diffs, has soft tires which are great for snow, and the list goes on!

duuuuuuuuuuude welcome to pcar club!! Awesome to see you in a 981. Hopefully will see you around sometime, maybe next season or so for me.
Yessssssss! So happy to be in the pcar club! No Watkins for you this year? Have you been doing any track days? I absolutely love this 981! It keeps surprising me with all the mods it has as well! I keep finding more things that are not stock, like the spoiler I just figured out is much more aggressive than stock. Fabspeed valved exhaust which dumps to different tailpipes before the muffler, looks like headers! Porsche backup cam installed post purchase, the list keeps growing! I think it has a tune. At VIR on total CRAP tires I was hitting 137mph on the back straight and in my brother's GT4 (2016) I was doing the same, on good tires! My car is properly quick and must be putting down more power than stock.
@@tekyguy that's awesome! The headers really bring the car alive - I finally installed a set this year on my GT4 and it's been amazing. We had our first baby just under a year ago so I've been skipping this season to enjoy the dad life. Not 100% sure if I will be able to do a WGI trip next season but I hope to get out for some local-to-me events (like at NJMP).
@@Yanbags Congratulations on becoming a father! So excited for you man! I'm sure we will meet again at WGI sometime soon :-)
@@tekyguy thanks so much! For sure, see you out there.
Will you be going to the track with your GT350 again? I enjoy watching that thing race
I sold it in December of 2021 actually. The Cayman is the new track car and I must say it’s impressive! Once I have some new rubber on the track wheels and some track pads/rotors it’s going to be as quick as the GT350 I think!
@@tekyguy Unfortunate. Absolutely adore the GT350. Anywho, can’t wait for some more videos of your laps. Don’t crash! 😂
@@ndcentral8194 thank you!!!!
I have taken my GT350 twice now and your tips are amazing, what OBD2 are you using to show braking?
Thank you for watching! I'm glad that my tips have helped you. I am using an older OBD2 bluetooth adapter made by go point.
Great videos! What obd are you using to get the gear changes and the brakes (mine only shows throttle)?
It's an insane car from the price. Same performance as the gt3 but 100K cheaper. And sounds a lot better too
SMH! GT350 driver was lugging through the turns at 3,400 rpm and NEVER pulled to the 8,250 rpm redline! It's a flat plane crank V8.... Rev that thing up!!!
Someone needs a better driver behind the seat of that gt3 lol
To be fair to him this was his first track day in that $130k car 🙂 He was figuring it out and not pushing it too hard right away. He is an excellent driver. This video does not do him any justice lol!
Which turns would you do differently? What line would you take?
@@najbrzi almost all of the turns he isnt pushing it to its limits and as the other guy said it was his first track day lol
911 pulls so hard out of the corners. Rear bias
Crazy to see that yellow B5 S4 looking mostly stock out there on the track as well!
Don’t forget the this version of the gt3 has a pdk (dual clutch) transmission which shifts way faster than any humans. The gt350 is manual only. With that into consideration, you kept up pretty well.
Thanks!!
What an absolute piece of American made trash!
Beautiful sound
If the Stang weighed the same as the VW, it would have eaten it.
GT3 should be pulling him hard in the corners…. Bad driver
This was my first weekend with the car, so don't be so quick to jump to conclusions based on 2 laps.
I posted again to our previous posts. lemme know what you think. thx.
Was he not trying to over take him? He definitely could have .
Nah he is my friend and we were just having a good time dicing it up! He eventually points me by and then he chases me for a bit!
@@tekyguy all good
We are good friends and just playing around having fun dicing it up on the track.
For about a $50K price difference, the GT350 held it's own nicely.
What’s surprising is that the GT3 pulls always in the straight from the car that is suppose to be strong in that part of the track..
This is just plain noisy. I’ll keep my Porsche.
I think you are in rare company if you aren’t a fan of that voodoo sound track but to each their own!
What an Amazing sounding V8, Absolute Masterpiece.
Take note of the word chases
Not for long! You can see in my other videos with my friend in the GT3 that we point each other by after a few laps to swap positions. We are just having fun dicing it up at the track!
The GT3 just eats those tighter corners.
Two of my favorite cars ever
Hilarious. big bad V-8 trying to keep up with a tiny six cylinder. Love how you can see the whole hood and shitty interior plastic junk rattling as ford tries to catch the Porsche. 😂
That GT350 is one of my dream cars! It makes a beautiful noise 🔥
I'd rather have that yellow S4 than either of those 2 cars.
He needs gas, tho lol. I wonder which gets better fuel efficiency there. My Mazda3 went through half a tank in three 20-minute sessions. My WRX was practically empty after 2 or 3 sessions.
The GT3 has a long range fuel tank. I think 20 gallons! Fuel consumption is very similar between the two but I have to fill up the GT350 more often with the 16 or so gallon tank.
Both are beautiful track machinery that make amazing sounds!🔥
Mustang sounds awesome but the 911 was pinning the mustang in the corners knowing the mustang can’t take it in the corners and leaving him on the straights.
Exactly! Just two good friends having a great time!
@@tekyguy that is so awesome !! What a great time it must have been. Hopefully you have many more track days ahead of you!
That was cute. No Mustang can ever pass a Porsche .
I pass Porsches all day long at track days in the GT350. It all comes down to the driver. The GT350 really is damn close to the GT3 in performance and in this video I’m running a super sport tire and the 911 is running a cup2.
Dude, he stomps past a 996 like, 30 seconds into the video.
Did the GT3 just get their race license?
Mustang will never pass that 911
What a weird world we live in when the mustang is better in the corners and the porche is better on the straights! Beautiful driving man!
I think what you are seeing is a difference in driving between myself and the 911 driver. The two cars are very close in performance.
Better gearing in the Porsche
@@Carlos.Rivera that too!!
I suspect that the driver of the Porsche may have not been pushing it as hard in the corners. They are expensive cars and track days always have varying degrees of driver talent.
What a great race! I had the pleasure of driving 911 and I own Mustang GT, so I can relate to your emotions, when you were able to chase him like this. And the sound is just fantastic!
That engine sound is devine. I Must own a GT350 while it's still a possibility.
Yes you should!
I’m not an expert on gearing…but for road racing…tighter gearing gives you the advantage to pull harder out of corners than taller gearing..keeping the engine in the power band better…also weight has a lot to do with that …it’s a toss up….depending on tracks…shorter straights…tighter gearing…longer straights…longer gearing…my 2003 SVT Cobra came with 3:55 gears….it now has 4:10 gears…much more fun to drive…pulls to higher speeds quicker than before…plus the first 4 gears are amazing…these cars are engineered to give the best performance while getting the best mileage….who cares about mileage when driving a performance car…I love the GT 350s….looks like a rocket ship….so much potential…the Porsches are awesome too…but get that back end out sideways and it’s game over….😀😀
Badass!
And Porsche driver wasn't even pushing it hard. Not even the slightest drift.
In conclusion: so many noise and power for nothing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Obviously you’ve never driven a fast car on a race track
@@DrSweetshaft obviously you're dumb af. I have a 911 also. I usually drive it on track every Sundays of the month. What a great opportunity u had to be quiet.
You are way faster without someone in front of you. How did you get early delivery of 2017 GT350 in 2001?
Lol wrong date on the LapTimer overlay.
Funny how this video is suddenly climbing up in views after 3 years. One thing’s for sure, that flat 6 and flat plane V8 will never get old. Wish we could’ve heard the GT3 a little more. Side by side stats: GT3 - 3.8L 475hp / 324 tq at 3,267lbs GT350 - 5.2L 526hp / 429 tq at 3,791lbs Weight makes all the difference here, if the Shelby wasn’t a porker this video would be entirely different.
The GT3 is only a flat 6 and he is hauling ass
No engine on the planet sounds better than a Voodoo 💯☠️
B8 RS5 4.2, E9X M3 S65, Porsche 4.0 Flat 6, to name only a few
@Brayden hell no lmao ! Guess you like the sound of lawnmowers
Monstrous noise. But 911 say bye byee
These are great looking cars on the road.
Impressive how well it does in the corners
whats up with the shifting?
350 feels pretty slow honestly.
Did you modify your gearing? I know stock GT350s go to 80mph in just second gear and you were cornering at 4th gear at one point. Not hating, just legitimately curious.
No modification to the gearing. At what speed and G load am I cornering in fourth? That must be the turn out of the back straight. It’s just a squeeze on the gas downhill there so I go from 5-4 before the turn and then to 3 up the short hill after while braking hard.
@@tekyguyThe first 30 seconds or so were on 4th gear that’s why I was wondering. Wouldn’t it have been better to corner with 2nd gear if your corner speed was 50-70mph?
@@helpmelol7097 watching the video I see what you mean. On the track second gear never seems to make sense and I think maybe my RPM reading is low on the overlay. I could use third a little more though.
@@tekyguy Yeah just try pushing the envelope and drive at the edge of traction. GT350s are one of those cars that have to be pushed to their limits to perform the way they should. Try cornering high speed into a corner with no barrier so you can understeer into the grass just in case
