Thanks for taking the time to make the video, I've got one of the cobbler machines and I like it, I find it user-friendly, and easily modifiable and customizable, I've made a couple of videos of what I've done to mine to customize it and the modifications I've done, I'm always interested in seeing what other people have done to their machines, thanks again,😊

Please, I need help. I have a brand new one like yours but the handle refuses to turn beyond about one third of a revolution. It came with a sample of stitched fabric, so it must have been working before it was sent. It stops with a clunk.

Hello. Perhaps you can help. I bought the Chinese shoe patch machine in October of 2022. I spent a month watching videos, etc. For some reason I could not get the machine to pick up the bobbin thread. So frustrated I put in the closet for a year. Pulled it out recently, and finally fixed the bobbin thread issue. Once the bobbin pickup worked, then I had an issue of the upper thread breaking. Watched some more videos, and did some intense sanding of all the bobbin parts. That stopped the breaking. Now, the thread is too loose. Before I just immediately tighten the bobbin spring, can you tell what would be causing the bottom thread to be too loose on my finished tests? In fact it was your video that encouraged me to sand everything down and that worked for the breaking.

Best comprehensive video I have found on this machine, going to do the mods in a little while.

Why does the thread always break?

My Machine worked until I broke a needle, I started polishing and sanding. That tip about the shuttle is something I will do , Thank You, OOH Rah!

My Cobbler blocked now. I guess the issue is in the bobbing case holder. I can not remove it - it stucks. Can you help?

awesome job. I'm doing the same thing. I'm going to take the shell off of the drill and mount the motor and drive train to some sheet metal, but you can take the drill off yours and use the drill. Nice option. Also, you can get an 18v power supply at 10 amps cheap. Just incase you don't want to mess with recharging. Nonetheless, great job.

Loved the video and the ingenuity, but hated the sound, the sound level was all over the place glad I didn’t have my head phones on when the music kick in lol.

Great work, the speed control and everything is first rate. The foot control is great. one could use hose clamps to hold the drill if they could not make the clamp like you did for the front of the drill

Hello, I have recently received my machine and I have put the wooden base like yours. I put the wheel on but it only moves between 11:00 and 7:00 and I have not managed to put it at 12:00. It's locked and I don't want to force anything. What I can do. Thank you in advance for your time and help. 🇨🇦

Thanks for the good video. I’ve got one the same I have been using for a while. I noticed that the tension plate is missing from your bobbin tensioner. Possible you removed it or it’s just missing. It was a quick shot and hard to confirm. Let me know if you want me to send a pic of my one. Cheers

How come you didnt buy a real singer 29K or patent elastic or adler? They are real machines and made since the 1800s. And also they can be bought for the same price as that chinese version.

Good job, but please listen to your audio with some headphones. Dude, you need to work on your audio and keep the levels of speech and music the same volume, the music is blasting and the vocal is so low I have to raise the volume, then the music kicks in and wakes the dead, blowing out my eardrums. Actually, you do not need to fill the time you do the assembly with music, most of us don't care about that, we're mechanics, and the heavy metal I like is used constructing things not heavy metal music blasting my eardrums when I'm wearing my headphones .

The idea is sound, but can’t stand the stupid music.
