    Thanks for the clear and useful tutorial and for implementing the Mythic sheets in TTS--it's really well done. I'm just having a problem with said sheets, and others like char. sheets, which is that if I save and load the game or if I "turn back time", then all the information on the sheets gets wiped. Is there something I'm perhaps missing or this just the way it is, so I have to keep permanent information somewhere else? If there is no way to keep the information on the Adventure sheets, then I think the usefulness of TTS deminishes somewhat.

    • @Compnative
      @Compnative Před 5 měsíci

      I was thinking about this too, and how I can use this when DMing for other players as well to combine both sandbox play with published adventures. For example, if you know the beginning summary details of a published adventure, or several published adventures, you can use those details as plot nodes. So if your players are wandering around a town randomly in open sandbox play with no agenda, the things they discover can point them towards published adventures. So your open sandbox and published adventure play can connect seemlessly via plot nodes. Love the videos @jeansenvaars

  • @sidsmiff
    @sidsmiff Před 5 měsíci

    I really like PUM as a GM emulator. I’d say its my favourite. I’ve tried many including Mythic. PUM definitely guides you more but its always under your control. Its worth expanding on why you cannot advance the Plot Track without a modified or a random scene. Both of these approaches will change the story in exciting and unexpected ways for you. I guarantee you will like the outcome and that is why you are rewarded with progress. As per standard group play, the plot evolves outside of your own imagination and expectation. The GM has their ideas as do the other players. Its PUMs way of bringing that feeling to the game. Great stuff!

It's difficult to follow what are you doing with the tools, the imáges are small and you are acting as everybody knows the system, which it's not the case. You have everything in your head, not the audience. From a transcription i can't get the correlation between what you are doing on the screen, this IS not a podcast. What you are doing with your tool in each action or situation IS what matters.
