The way people consume music now doesn't allow for mega popstars anymore. The closest you can get to it is probably Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish but there is a reason there are only two names I can give you now and you'll still be sure to find people who have never come in contact with their music. Believe it or not but the first time I heard Billie's song was last year. I have somehow managed to avoid ever hearing her music despite her mega success...would not be possible in gaga's times. Kinda sad. I miss outrageous, in your face, weird pop ladies.

As someone who's autistic, I couldn't care less if Sia is on the spectrum or not. That doesn't make her extremely ableistic movie any better. It's still an insult to the autism community and spreads dangerous information that was provided by Autism Speaks, an extremely ableistic organization with a long controversial history. Autism doesn't absolve anyone of their misdeeds and poor choices. People can be awful AND be on the spectrum. Just look at Chris Chan and Daniel Larson. It's shocking that Maddie had way more self-awareness than a grown woman.

I feel like I've started noticing a trend of a queer artist creating something for their specific experience, then queer people who relate to it in a way not originally intended claiming it, and then infighting starting because it was meant to represent a different queer experience, and we don't have enough representation. I kinda find this fascinating because on the one hand, yeah, something intentionally created _for you_ is kinda rare (though thankfully less so now than it used to be), and so you want to cling to it and keep it and claim it, and people taking it and distorting it's original intent is hurtful because you feel erased But on the other hand I think most queer people are very used to taking things that weren't written with them in mind, but which nonetheless speak to their experiences, and claiming them, because THINGS BEING INTENTIONALLY CREATED FOR YOU IS RARE. Especially if you still have little to no representation intended for you, the desire to claim something that was maybe written with a slightly different queer experience in mind, but nonetheless speaks to you, is strong. so now as some members of the community get more things made for them, they will sometimes speak to more than one experience, and you get both the clinging to it because "no but it's mine" and the "but I have nothing and it speaks to me" now fighting over the same piece of art. Personally I think art is to a degree open to interpretation, but also I understand the desire to be possessive over it. It's complicated and fascinating to me. idk. just some thoughts ^^'

The only thing I don't like about this movie is a woman 40 (41 in real life) making out with a guy 19 (29 in real life) all in the name of feminism. This exploitation of inspiring young actors/actresses in Hollywood is dangerously common and praised.

(like as in im autistic and my special interest is taylor swift. and there are very few taylor swift songs I dislike, like probably less than 5.) with that being said, I think pretty much all the points in this video are good points. people are allowed to have opinions, and some swifties just dont seem to get that!!! yes a lot of criticism of taylor is rooted in misogyny or people just wanting to be different but also a lot of the time thats not the case!!! people have different tastes, music is subjective, and just because I love taylor swift doesnt mean everyone has to. and I have been made fun of for liking taylor swift a lot but thats definitely not the worst thing that could happen to someone. and although there’s are plenty of swifties who aren’t like, horrible, I tend to avoid the swiftie fandom as a whole now because a lot of them are.

The recent Camila song that you and the guy in your phone was making fun off has more than 79 million streams on Spotify, not counting other platforms. You may not like her, that is ok. Every singer has got their own fanbase. She has got 43 million listeners on just Spotify. So saying that she is not popular and there are no takers for her music is just not true. Taylor swift is an icon, but I don't like her most of her songs except for a few, that doesn't mean that she is a bad singer. It is just my taste. So please don't do such biased podcasts and videos.

I usually don't agree with claiming someone's diagnosis is fake. However, Sia is an exception. No one can convince me that a super rich Sia couldn't just go find a doctor that is willing to give her any diagnosis she wants. And it sure is convenient that she is diagnosed after her huge controversy! While many have already pointed out that her being autistic doesn't change how offensive the movie is, unfortunately it does make her look better. Now she has a "right" to speak on behalf of the autism community versus being an ignorant neurotypical person that has no idea how autistic people experience their lives but still felt the need to talk over them. It's possible that she is autistic, but I just don't buy it. Yes you can be autistic and have a false understanding of autism but I think it's most likely that she's just lying because she seems to highly lack any understanding of autism.
