Short answer: the game mode was just a bland zombie game

Seeing this video really gave me a good closure , bittersweet even 😔 mino monsters will live on in our hearts

All people hoping for save to be saved ,stop hoping epic has announced they are done supporting the game,except for the typical 1 new hero and 2 new guns,its like gtav with new cars after 3 weeks or like team fortress just new lootboxes

Seven months after OG, StW is still on top of a handful of the core modes. Right now, Team Rumble has 2.7K, Rocket Racing has 5.1K, Creative has 9.9K (excluding creative maps), Festival has 10.2K, Ranked Zero Build has 11K, StW has 13.2K, Lego has 32.8K, Ranked Battle Royale has 66.8K, Reload Zero Build has 76.2K Battle Royale Zero Build has 122.9K Battle Royale has 174.5K Reload has 320.3K Idk why Festival is so low today usually it sits at or around the StW level, being 20-30K but I think Reload took a lot of players away for now.

where the hell is our destroy all monsters/save the earth remaster for modern consoles honestly its just money on the table i enjoyed that gigabash game that has all the godzilla and ultraman collabs and dawn of the monsters but just like you i've been longing for a true kaiju fighting game made by people who care.

its kinda disappointing to hear they're just letting the ip cook but its understandable, i do hope dimensionals has some sort of nod to mino monsters when it comes out though

save the world gets an update every 3-6 months with a new hero or 1 new mission biom. they even gave us a new LTM mode. and dataminers found assets for a STW twine peaks update. its not much but better than nothing.

I'm a founder but i only play the game for the daily missions which reward v-bucks. I usually play zero build 'cause I'm not good at building. Same reason i never finished the storyline in STW, building and defending the base got old and annoying for me really quick. The other modes are more fun (rescuing survivors, protecting the van which is way more manageable than protecting a whole base, surviving the storm just killing zombies and collecting loot. I'm a simple man with simple needs lol

STW was an important for of og fortnite and what I personally see as what made fortnite into Fortnite with the entire season 1 map being reused assets but as time went on it seems like epic just didn’t care about the mode that made it what it was and Fortnite has just been getting worse as it dies off. It’s the classic trope of x and y with x getting popular and y being left in the dust

It is quite a sad piece of knowledge to know that save the world never got the recognition it deserved.

if they made stw free to play i would imagine theyd get more players, which would mean more money. it doesnt make sense why it never became free to play

Yeah I never got into the game when I tried it once last year, and I don’t think the new state of the game is gonna encourage me to give it another chance.

The game just looks super slow and floaty like if they upped the speed by 5% just a bittt it would look much better

Their main problem is the lack of hype music and lots and lots of akward silences

I want to love this game so bad, who doesn't want a platform fighter where I can make Tom & Jerry team up with Batman to take down Jason Voorhees, but so many behind the scene decisions have tanked my enjoyment of this game so much since coming back from the Beta. It makes me wish this was a one-time payment, not this heavily monetised free-to-play live service BS that spawned from Fortnite, which WB is trying to emulate and can be seen all over this game. The prices for the skin bundles alone are the price of 3 DLC characters for Smash Ultimate which come with the fighter and their alts. The stage, music, and other miscellaneous content like spirits and their classic/arcade mode. You get more content out of that than whatever hell MvS is trying to sell you at the same price for just one character. This is WB third attempt at a platform fighter, how the hell are they screwing up this bad lol.

I played the beta quite a bit, got all of the season 1 BP done for it. Sadly, due to the speed, i hate it now, now it just feels like an alternate version of Nick All Stars, which is still worse imo, The only thing that needed fixing was the dodge spam and honestly id take that over this. Played a day and i just didnt enjoy any of it, felt bad in comparison. Oh well, one less battlepass to work on i guess.

Even though the launch wasn't great lol. There clearly cooking stuff so with a 1 or 2 good updates they could revitalize the game

The game speed is way better now. I hated it at first, but slowly you realise how it actually allows for methodical and not just guessing gameplay.

They gutted Tom and Jerry while making a whole bunch of characters way better😭

this game makes smash ultimate feel like a week designed well balanced game and that shit has Kazuya zero to death combo and Minecraft Steve, at least when fighting against those cheater characters i don't have to play on some of the worst stages I've ever played on

As someone who just got here i unlocked the two characters i want abd have been playing and loving. Its free to play so im not salty bout having to unlock characters ters and am just having a good time. Its so weird being new and see everyone just talk about the beta when i never touched it ther. Its gameplay right now has been my favorite non smash smash game which is one of ky favorite series i played a bunch

Imagine a Godzilla version of Xenoverse 2, that would be a dream come true.

Idk why people are hating on this game so much to me it’s a blast to play. If the micro transactions are your issue I have a handy life hack: you don’t have to buy them in order to play the game 🤯 EDIT: I also don’t mind that the game is slowed down. I didn’t have anyone to play smash with as a kid so the slower speed actually gives me time do the moves I want to do whereas other fighting games I can’t even process what’s going on

How in 5 months has the player count decreased by 50% the highest I've seen in PlayStation at least was 21,000

I probably sounded really nitpicky in this video, but I really do enjoy the game! I just want this game to be alive and flourishing for a long time since it is such an amazing concept.
