Love this. My primary concern is maintenance, including repairs, so I don't mind living with open systems. You can still make it work in a rough, industrial style. As a solo home owner, access is the most important thing for me.

You are so helpful. I almost got a Joybird sofa because of the wonderful free fabric samples they sent, but then I read the reviews. So disappointing!

I must add that when you buy a sleeper sofa it will be very heavy and hard to move. I’m sure there are better choices if you have guests-for example staying at a hotel 😂.

Lived in a house for about a year where the shower mixer was placed behind a fixed glass wall/partition. I either had to drop the handheld into the shower and hope it wouldn't make everything wet or hold the handheld until the water was warm because I couldn't put the handheld on top of the mixer, nor shove it to the side. Meaning that if I switched on the shower I might as well step right in, clothes and shoes and all and take a cold shower. I also like to wash my hair with the handheld and lean my head only upside down into the shower so I can wash my hair with cold water. To reach that mixer, I had to step into the shower and switch it on or off, defeating the purpose because I would get wet anyway. This mixer and partician placement combo still irks me 😂😂

Shutters are pretty easy to DIY - check-out DIY blinds which are based/made in Melbourne. I had some custom made and delivered within a week for cheaper and quicker than a variety of local quotes. Only difference is I installed them myself which was easy to do and took about an hour.

I use that first wheel cart in my storage room! It's soooo helpful, great in holding all the little things like cleaners, stove burner foils, etc. I also like the sliding door cabinet I got. I don't remember the name; it's a heavy beast, white in colour. But I have it in my living room to store extra food and smaller applicances. It's awesome! :D

Just went shopping yesterday for wood flooring. Idk why but I just didn't feel like grey would be a great color. My wife kept moving toward it. I wanted something lighter that would match multiple paint colors and we settled on maple. I don't know much about interior design but I guess by good instinct I was on to something😄

Could you do a video taking normal rooms and using your ideas with an AI generator to remodel them? Rather than showing one low end interior and replacing with a professionally photographed high-end interior. That way it’s apples to apples and we see you take a bad space and make it into a good space. Like case studies.
