A Clean DPF Filter in only 3 Hours | Parts for Trucks
Did this with a pressure washer.
and the machine in action
Get this junk off of diesels
Me puking after a night out
Bet it felt better after throwing up a few times like that........
This is what happens when all the democrat tree huggers are in charge of "saving the planet"
Don't need a filter if the engines run properly.
Delete, delete, delete, get more power, fuel mpg,and if the government engine can be run and bought without it, mine can too.
What kind of valuable elements are they collectiong from this?
Very COoL. And I'm not just saying that. Which reminds me I need to pickup some Exlax™.. Thanks! p.s. I should have really read the comments first. Then I would have reazlized this "theme" was not unique - people are really really sick (including me:)
EPA requirements or the maximum cash grab via somewhat helpful specialized processes?
I should call her
Red stuff coming out in cleaning is not good..
Let it soak in a bath of diesel for a day . Then after clean with brake cleaner . Works & is cheaper than buying new dpf filter . Also any remaining garbage will burn away :P
You don’t get all the soot and buildup out that way. You need pressure to force the shit out.
I’m sure soaking it in diesel breaks up the soot. That’s the point in soaking it.
Commenters are concerned about what happens to the water after it goes through the DPF. While you might think it just goes down the drain, it does not. The machine operates a closed-loop system so the water gets filtered, and used again. No soot or ash goes down the drain!
all extra waste of time and money for shit that just junk and makes engines die
More satisfying when you delete them.
Agree. AirCondition-Magic-Man is wise beyond his years
And then that runoff is pumped directly into taps in Flint, MI 😊
We have to collect the particles so that we can release them again
Dump that water on the front lawn of the clean air act politicians
Looks “great” for the environment. Real nice use of water.
The dirty water doesn't go down the drain, it's a closed loop system. The water gets cleaned and used again for the next filter.
Who said that was drinking water?
dpf filters are pointless. get rid of them
Who does this? Is there a web site?
We do it in our Eastern Canadian markets - www.partsfortrucks.com/service/dpf/
@@partsfortrucks does anyone in the United States like Wisconsin or illinois
@@superkunk2 Not sure, sorry. You'd have to ask your local shops to see if they know anyone.
Bravo colleagues
Glad truck didn't need one, tired to talked my Cousin out of buying the 6.7 in his 07 when he had the choice between that and the 5.9, his was in the shop so many times he finely got rid of it, still have my 5.9 19 years 300000 miles later and hope to keep it another 20 years
This is why you dont use these things, cool the cylinder temps and that will reduce nox emissions, maybe a slight water injection? Propane injection? I'm sure there is something that can be used to dilute or cool the cylinder temps to keep nox under control, rather than these contraptions that cost more, ruin engines, and your pocket book
With water alone, is it going to be okay to the filter?
Yes it will be find, there is no risk of damage to the filter
it should be a free of charge service to clean these
Unfortunately NOTHING is ever free. One way or another we are all paying for this nonsense. EPA tax money goes towards other globalist endeavors. EPA is/was used as a tool to migrate industry OUT of the United States! Otherwise EPA would have scrutinized and banned all products not adhering to the same EPA standards from being imported. Yup, your nations money being used against your nations best interest.
Diesel Porn
Wow..nice ..
Nice work thanks for the explanation 🍻😊
Thanks!
Satisfying indeed but that is a Roadwarrior after market which is probably already cracked and failed by the time it gets to this point. (No shade against Roadwarrior, just that they are not designed to last as long as OEM and many of the other after-market filters)
It is amazing how our government works. It’s all about clean air and water so they put $10,000 worth of garbage under your truck and it stops the DPF filter up and then you have to go spend lots of money and time to get it cleaned out and they dump it right back into the environment, that’s some liberal logic right there
Not true! This is a closed loop system, the water gets cleaned and reused between each pass.
Hmm, whilst the DPF is good in theory....why the hell should it need to be taken out & cleaned like this? Part of the vehicles design should be to clean it automatically & you see something about it on yhe dash. 8ve heard that when you go on a 30+ mins drive, its supposed to be cleaned automatically......
There are indeed REGEN cycles that bake the filter.
Looks like my vomit after drinking so much beer
Now all that shit flows into the nearest stream 👍
No true! It's a closed-loop system, so all the water gets filtered and reused.
Gonna need a new filter now.
So where’s all that trash go since they don’t want it burned off? 😂😂😂
The water gets filtered and reused as part of its closed-loop system. When the water filter fill up, it is replaced and safely disposed of.
This is not, how to clean it...u have to BURN it, instead of using water - u waste water, that have to be cleaned. the smoke, if u burn it, is faster and cheaper to clean....
How do i choose the pump i need to replace the old absolete pump on dump truck
All you really need to know is whether it is direct-mount or remote-mount, and whether or not it is air-shifted. After that, speak to someone at your local Parts for Trucks or another heavy duty shop near you, and they will be able to set you up with the correct pump.
Behold. Saving the environment!
Lol. No it isn't.
Its not about saving environment diesel soot is worse than asbestos in your lungs
Dpf from a jumbo jet init 😂
So what happens to that waste water? So you save up all that soot and mix it with water. No cleaner than not having this engine killer on your exhaust. Stop the war on carbon, the essential element of life
The water is in a closed-loop system, none of it goes down the drain. Instead, we filter the water between passes to pull all the containments out.
@partsfortrucks then what do you do with the now concentrated contaminants? Where do you dispose?
@partsfortrucks so can you give me an answer on that or are you to busy counting money?
Thank you for your paitence, I had to confirm with our DPF team. The filter with the concentrated containments are sent to the landfill. The landfill is the best/safest way to dispose of the filter as the soot/ash cannot be recycled.
No it is not!
This is so much better for the environment. Nice job epa 😂 triple the efforts and cost
Where's this placed located.I need bring my dpf there
Moncton, New Brunswick! But if you visit any of our Eastern branches, we'll send it to Moncton for you.
DPF biggest waste of a truckers money next to automatic trucks for steering wheel holders
where does that liquid get disposed?
It's a closed-loop system, the water gets filtered and used again in the machine.
I just bought a 2010 FUSO. after driving three hours there. I made it 5 miles outside of the city on the highway and the truck started acting up. Everything I’ve read said that this is the problem. Paid $5500. It has 122,000 miles drives amazing for about 5 miles and then shut down. I pulled over and it dies. The dealership promised me I would have no issues making the drive home. Now I can’t get a hold of them And I’m stuck on the side of the road all night long. Tow trucks are not allowed to leave city limits do the weather. The companies only have you guys on call they’re not allowing them to leave city limits. My question is did I get ripped offor cleaning this fix my issue
Also me after my morning coffee
