where did you take your tests at and who was your DME and where?
Hello good morning please can I reach out to u
The GE facility so freakin nice in Lafayette, IN! I wanna leave chicago and go to Las Vegas!!! I just took my Airframe written 2.20.24 I'm gonna take a couple weeks to study for my O&P so I can get my 🅰️☺️🥂👏💯
I took my airframe written yesterday 2.20.2024🎉❤ I plan on taking my O&P 🅰️ airframe in a few weeks 💯🥂👏 I'm well on my way 💯
Congrats man. Can’t wait to be in your shoes.
Start school March 7th but I’m going to spend this time up until then on Prepware and the 3 books.
the math part for a&p is hard ask man electrical theory is something else any pointers on someone who is the good with math its been 5 yrs since I last did math
You should seek a tutor thats what i did, and most of the math conversions you can use a calculator
Tests changed questions are completely different from prep book
I wanna do this im just bad at math
Let me ask you a question, I’m not good at math do think I should still do it
i do i get prepware in my computer
Do the DME’s typically give you your list of practicals before your test day or is it depending on the DME?
Great vlog…. I’ve just got back from Bakers in Tennessee… 🤯🤯🤯🤯yep it’s not easy, power plant is a huge subject, like you I’ve got retakes😳😳
You work for American?
I passed my general first time with an 85% I made it my business to study each section and pass throughly 85%-100% b4 moving on to the next section I graduate in 3 months I'll be taking my airframe written in 2wks then I'm gonna try to have my o&p airframe by the first of the year I want to be fully certified and hired with American by April-May 2024❤❤🥂🤘🏽👏 I attend the AIM in chicago🤘🏽🥂
heyy
I wish you the best on the start of your career. I expect you will outgrow these tools rather quick. The general rule of thumb is if you have to borrow a tool from someone else twice then it’s time to buy one yourself. As that happens and as these break, consider investing in quality tools moving forward. USA made if you can. “Buy once, cry once” holds true in my experience. God bless!
Hey man, how many questions did he asked from each chapter?
I am really happy to see a brother better themselves 👏👏 you an inspirational to the young people. Hard work pays off. Congrats on your National Guard employment 💯💯 God blessed you 🙏🙏
What airlines can I work at without my powerplant just with my airframe
You got your A&P now ?
Very Cool!!!!!!!! Way to go.
I go through the questions a few times and on the third time I go through I make cards on the ones I’m consistently getting wrong and reword them so I can remember them better.
did my PowerPlant Few months ago 2023 and I literally Just BARELY Jumped The line as in I Got an exact 70 honestly it was my own Fault Tho it was so close I was still using my old PREPWARE book From 2019 to study and cleary The Question had changed alot
pls hw soon can u retake the test
@@reuben2264you have to wait 30 days
Wassup I’m from philly is aim a good school ?
do I need to buy the private pilot Prepware so I can be able to search up all my codes cause I downloaded the demo version and I'm assuming that's why some of my codes are saying "not found" and some are showing up. do I need to buy it?
Can you please go into more detail on how you would break down the 8083 and write your summary? Like by paragraph by paragraph?
Bro if you can help me after I pass my airframe written on the general and airframe practicals please bro
I think we work at the same spot!
So will the jepperson help with practicals ?
No not really. You just watching videos on different practicals will only help or actually practicing some in school. I know kids in my school got with instructors and just joing in their class lesson when they were doing hands on stuff
@@Avation.Experiencebet thanks
Honestly I don’t remember the practical stuff very well
At the same point in life you were at where you want something stable, and finally independent. I’m inspired to go ahead and register for the fall. Congrats!
Yeah ain’t no better feeling. Having go to school for this help me take over as a man for my family and landed me good paying jobs! When you join it’s all work no time for games fun n women. They’ll be there after all that
@@Avation.Experience Man I’m telling you I’m trying to treat this like I did Basic Training in the Army. Already started isolating myself about a month ago. Didn’t even tell anybody I’m registering tomorrow. This is completely new to me so your videos definitely helped. Time to lock in ✊🏿
How accurate were the jeppessen study guides for the orals to the actual test?
Oh it was right on point! What I read n studied out of there was exactly what he wanted to hear
@@Avation.Experience wow that’s a relief to hear lol I’m studying for my airframe and general o&p amd your videos have helped me a lot
One question bro is your job hard ?
Which job I have had plenty after posting this video. From helicopter to G.A
God is real bro,you are a strong individual ,I’ve been watching your channel ,I just subscribed today,I’m in school ,just past my general written ,i can’t wate to graduate bro ,I’ve wasted pleny time smh 🤦♂️
Congrats man they say general is the hardest n it scares most ppl away cause they can’t pass so man w.e you did just repeat the process for them last 2 test
I took and finished the airframe and powerplant oral and practicals 2 days ago. I was super nervous about it and studied my ass off, but once I got in, I realized it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I was over the moon when I recieved my A&P.
Congrats! And it usually is lol ppl make it seem so scary which it does sound like a huge challenge but studying makes you confident
@@Avation.Experience thanks man! And believe it or not, I did actually somewhat have fun during the practicals once I got the hang of it. Even though the school I went to left a sour taste in my mouth, I got my A&P anyways. On to bigger and better things now. 🫡
Update new to this channel
🙏🏽 welcome hope I can motivate you!
Why don't you use that website that it tells you to go on to find questions?
Have you heard that the faa are restructuring there tests now?
Yeah I heard but for what I was told if you still study prepware you’ll be fine
@@Avation.Experience I just got done taking it passed with 80. That was my third attempt
@@courtlandholmes418 nice!!! Do you think they reconstructed the questions like ppl say they were ?
@@Avation.Experience some were but not all most of it was straight up asa. I recommend taking tests online asa over and over save missed questions then test with those. Work a lot for me. First attempt 65 then 68 then I tried the method I just said and got an 80.
@@courtlandholmes418 the Prepware is pretty much asa right ?
Thats cool you study this way, but did you pass doing it this way?
Yes I passed 1st time around
Do not give up keep at it. I know the Glenco/McGraw-Hill textbooks explain the stuff better then the Jeppesen textbooks.
I’ll try these!
I went to AIM also. This is exactly how we did it.
Yeah definitely was the best way especially if didn’t think learning and remembering all of that was possible
Hell yeah, Kendell. I'm right behind you. I just left Leonardo last month and I'm at Bakers in Tennessee getting my A&P right now. Keep it up!
Yeah I couldn’t do that place anymore so unorganized and good luck bro! And I definitely will
How many hours did you study
I got my A&P licenses recently and wanted to thank you for your advice in this video. Every time I was stressing or doubting myself on being able to pass my O and Ps I rewatched this video. Thanks again!
Congrats I’m glad my videos could help motivate you
A&P school is long and challenging. Anyone who is interested or attending A&P school should just enjoy the journey and know it will be to your benefit in the end. I just got my A&P license 02/24/2023 and am hopefully going to start working at United Airlines 05/01/2023 once my background check clears.
For me it was the orals. For your orals study Jeppsen and for you writtens study ASA
For me it was the orals. For your orals study Jeppsen and for you writtens study ASA
@@Anti.Vegans From everything ive seen and ppl spoken to the general written is the hardest. Then a toss up for you on airframe or powerplant, and most ppl have told me the orals were easy compared to writtens and for most took them about 30 mins to 45mins for orals and that was it.
Man congrats! You pretty much hit the jackpot wit United. Gotta love this industry
Can someone with 0 mechanical background do good in this test after just completing school?
I’m a living example of it. Really it just come down to how much you pay attention to actually learn the material and how bad do you want it. I passed all mine close tho the bare min to pass I didn’t come from a mechanical background except what I learned in the school
so im having trouble understanding where to look for information... like its asking for POH for aircrafts but it seems like i have to pay to look at them... also.. im lost as far as when to look at POH VS ATP VS TCDS.... and so forth.... anything can help me... really i hope that i make sense
I want to study for it. I don't want to go to school ( I don't want to add more loans on top of the ones I have) but if I study and pass it. That means I would have to have several hours of hands on training right?
Yes you’ll have to work at a repair station to get hands on experience. And tbh if you go to school you’ll be able to take your 1st test after 4 months. You will definitely be rewarded with a good career making good money to pay your loans tbh.
@@Avation.Experience thanks. How to find a location to take the test. I always go by Elon musk quote. " You don't need to go to college to get educate" it true everything online or if you motivated you can find or do it myself if you open a book/CZcams.
