I'm an American and have a small understanding of UK politics, I'm of the opinion that Bercow was a fantastic speaker.
British are rather stiff
Such a deja vu. Few years back when he took a dig at David Cameron. Even the speaker reminded me of John Bercow utterances few years back
He's a legend 👑

But the Dukedom of York does not pass on to his male heirs, if he had or has any. It reverts to the crown on his death and the monarch creates the second of their (male in the past) issue as Duke of York. At least that is how I see it.
As an italian I have much respect for the procedures and the history of the british parliament, we are a parliamentarian republic (even if the right is pushing for semi parliamentarism or even semi presidentialism for some unknown reasons) but our traditions and institutions are nothing compared to all of this
True leadership True opposition
This is better politics Britain at her best
Honda were in the red Japan supported them now look at them, Britain dont turn your backs on british industry
British funding British Goods Great Britain again
This woman whatever you think she told the Argentinians what she would do and stood firm love or hate her she was the iron lady
I can’t be the only one who thinks that both John Prescott and Michael Heseltine would have made excellent Prime Ministers
All full of their own importance. Most unemplotable in ordinary life
Vacuous innocuous inane questions from a gang of pompous old duffers
Anne Widdecombe looking characteristically contemptuous.
The best ever with a clever head.
Best Madam Speaker ❤❤❤❤
That is what is wrong with British politics As soon as anyone speaks the truth some idiot in the chair starts shouting order. Say what the hell you want as long as you don't use fowl language now that would be real Democracy at work. Not the ancient out off date pantomime we have at Westminster.
I liked Michael Heseltine
This should have been a catalyst for the world to decide those that do not belong in a first world nation. Instead they opened the borders so women and children are no longer safe. Blair’s not a war criminal he’s a TRAITOR
I wish all the youngsters on social media who drag Britain (and vice versa) see this and realize that we are friends, long standing allies and we need to show one another compassion and stop tearing each other apart online.
the uk is not a democracy what a joke
The sad thing is that the UK public are paying these pillocks to sit and talk nonsense, wasting time, while the country rapidly decliines
It's remarkable to see someone speaking to profoundly intelligently and without script.
Mr Deputy Speaker it is with no little pride and a great sense of honour that I can reveal it was I who recommended to Natalie Imbruglia that "Torn" should be her inaugural single.
This, of course, is butt-clenchingly embarrassing.
Remember when we had an eloquent Speaker who stood his ground and did his job?
Now this what triggered all the war crimes
One if his best insults went as follows: Skinner: “Half the Tory members opposite are crooks” - House of Commons Speaker: “The honourable member MUST withdraw that remark” - Skinner: “OK, half the Tories are not crooks”. Dennis 1 : Speaker 0. Genius set up so in doing what he is told he made the same allegation a different way!
Bro surely eats a dictionary before speaking😂😂. But surely a great speaker and a greater curator.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lord Chorley joins the sexual revolution in the swinging sixties. @26:53
Order Order what a joke 😅😅😅
Bob Cryer to his right was also a genuine man. I met him years ago.
I think Anne Widdecombe must've been on a bender the night before this is sat there struggling to stay awake 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dreadful woman and totally incompetent politician.
She’s quite likeable though.
His humility didn't last 5 mins. One of the most divisive speakers, in love with the sound of his own voice
Nonsense. The fact is that the House, and particularly his former party, tried to undermine and ruin the integrity of the House. His job is to ensure rules of engagement are followed and the law of the legislature. If he was divisive it was because there were already divisive actions.
Say what you 2ant about Skinner but he stuck by what he said and in my honest opinion he wasn’t far from the truth
Callaghan; the man who opened the floodgates for illegal immigrants🥶
Gua ancurin lu
If there ever was a man who LOOKED and SOUNDED like a Prime Minister, it's Michael Heseltine.
Thrown out for saying it like it is. Typical
