God I am going to get a Captain Rex microfighter just because of this drama =))) I love the Venator, but it's not what I am collecting.

Lego clearly steered away from depicting any specific group with their medieval or pirate series. They are supposed to be "no name" indigenous people. They could be south americans just as well, given that the pirates were most famous around the carribean.

Great video, A lot of castle sets go together (most castles can open up and have the smalle4r "wall elements" fit in between their walls and make a bigger caste. The 3in1 Castle that is still out now is meant to be combined with itself any number of times (the main model and the secondary models) to make a bigger castle. This is great! I actually have the Orient Express, and in the instructions is actually says that that mini figure IS in fact Pippin Reed. Adventurers was the theme of my childhood too. I also heard that the new city Jungle sets this year will include Johnny Thunder!

Apparently Johnny Thunder is also going to be included in one of the upcoming Lego City sets with this summer's 'jungle' theme. That's the rumour anyway. I would absolutely love actual new Adventurer sets!

I very much share your hopeful optimism for a remake style set of Adventures, Johnny Thunder and the gang are a huge part of lego history and it'd be nice to see they remember their roots.

You missed a couple... The Newspaper Boy from CMF series 24 is clearly Mike, from the Adventures Dino Land sets and the Pilot from CMF series 3 and Explorer from CMF series 2 could be an older Harry Cane and Baron von Barron (maybe)!?!

I would love an Adventurers remake in the style of El Dorado Fortress or Pirates of Barracuda Bay, but I gotta be honest: if they give Johnny a cowboy hat like the series fig, I will be visibly upset. It is not Johnny Thunder without the iconic hat.

I hope you are right! I didn’t know they had remade figures in addition to Johnny Thunder. I’ll keep an eye out for those on my next bricklink order.

That is a word. I personally am not an UCS fan, because I don't want to spend multiple hundred € for a thing, I can only look at after building. Geting a great figure from a expensive set, I am not interested in, for a payable amount of money has no netative effects. If somebody has the money and the will, to buy a venator. Go on, buy it. If they don't want to buy the micro-Y-wing. Don't buy it then, there is more for me. Boy, hopefully Lego don't listen to those complains.

I think you mean scimitar or sabres. Scepters are blunt weapons or more accurately just sticks to point at things and show someone's status as general, lord, emperor, etc

Amazing set! I think the original figures are great though: I appreciate the newer figs that reflect more on actual Maori culture, but I like that the old figures are somewhat ambiguous regarding what culture they depict; one could argue LEGO excluded any ethnic markers that tied them to a certain people, which is rather respectful than not, I guess.

You know whats cursed ? that specific part of another color on the piece that joins the legs of the girls minifigures, that piece is supposed to be a bikini (Or at least it was at that time, because now bikinis do exist but they are impressions on the piece, which indicates that more than a bikini it is a thong) I feel uncomfortable Knowing that information not gonna lie.

How did you miss the whole point of the video? every other theme gets lots of characters and exclusive one's at that in expensive sets and it would just be nice if Star Wars was given that same privilege

I honestly just want a REX idk care about the details on him. But I will say if I pay $650 dollars for a very detailed set with special printing it should stay with just that set. I mean dude its in the name Ultimate COLLLECTOR Series. Rex print is exclusive to that set. That being said im fine with rex appearing but if he appears the exact same special printed way that he does in the UCS sets yeah it kinda does ruin UCS rex value. Think of Boba fett in UCS, he has all sorts of custom stuff on him because its UCS. All play scale versions of him arent exclusively so it doesn't matter. If you mean to tell me every person is gonna UCS rex in a $13 micro set and see that as fair. I demand I get UCS versions of all characters in their play scale versions.

there is definitely a lot of toxicity in those angered by this microfighter news - for me an accessible captain rex is a big win! Lego is supposed to be fun and Rex has long been locked behind a $100 paywall. As a toy company, this is both a business decision from them and also a great decision for fans - young and old. The only salty or upset people are adult collectors with way too many Rex's, that they paid WAY too much for... and in the rare case you are a hardworking decent human who just bought your first Rex for way too much: on behalf of the republic: im sorry! ALSO: I am BLOCKED from commenting on mandr's channel for literally zero reason. I commented just like this once and it got 48 likes - was then removed and now whenever I comment: it does not show up.
