Great video! I live in GA too and I just started my NACA journey with the seminar Saturday. Have you seen any grants compatible with NACA in GA? They mentioned AHA (Atlanta Housing Authority) has a grant up to $25k, but it’s only limited to the city limits.

It’s true, it’s legal, and it is available, but it’s only available in certain cities and states. Oregon isn’t one of them. The Home Forward of Multnomah county as well as the other counties in Oregon claim that it is illegal for section 8 participants to own any part of the property and they also claim it is illegal to even rent from a relative just in case the participant should be trying to purchase in secret through a relative. Supposedly, it’s a law, but they didn’t say if it’s a federal or state law, so I was surprised to hear that it’s available in other states, and they didn’t say if and how the law forbidding section 8 participants from owning real property could be overturned by using a Precident that states that the HOT-PHA NACA is already being legally and successfully utilized within many other cities states, and that the unique program is a low to moderate income home buyer program that is beneficial program that can benefit every community. Currently, section 8 participants can and do only rent from landlords most of which own multiple properties and many of which came from other states or countries to become Oregon landlords, so currently, only the wealthy benefit from preventing the HOT-PHP NACA program in Oregon.

Hi, I am in the process of payment to start the counseling to get me started on the homeowner's membership program. I am just curious and need clarity on the payment instructions. So, if I were to perse put on hold and not pay for the membership, do I have to pay for example 4 years of hold as a recurrent member?
