I wish they hadn't cut the content that would have explained Ethan's blackouts and psychic connection to the killer. It would have made the whole thing make sense rather than a pointless dropped plotline

Good content! It sounds to me like you are slurring some of your words (maybe just a dialect thing?) but to me it makes some words you say a bit hard to hear properly. Especially when pronouncing certain "N" sounds. I like your content, just wanted to let you know, in case you are not aware - meant as constructive criticism :)

Just beat this game for the first time in 10 years yesterday on my PS5. It'd be my 3rd or 4th playthrough. While the game has plenty of flaws, i enjoyed my time with it. Other than the apartment hallucination, i thought that the QTEs, while primitive, were really fun, roughly mimicking some of the on-screen action. Ive never gotten to play Omikron, but i intend to eventually do so. Would love to see you do a vid on it.

Yikes commentary style, explaining everything about to happen seconds before the clip of it happening. Just show the clip and do the commentary over the clip or after, not before. I get your spelling it out so a baby can understand but work on the structuring, you all over the place

SH3 is my favourite Silent Hill game and this retrospective really did it justice. I particularly liked your analysis of the characters and also found the Robbie the Rabbit analysis interesting, as I've never thought about the mascot as a significant part of the game's symbolism. It's videos like these that give me a new perspective and keep a game that I've played over 40 times interesting.

In the prison scene, you'll notice that every time Maria talks as Mary, the camera becomes grainy. And that's the only time it happens in the entire game.

I say this on every single SH2 video since the announcement of the remake: If they do not NAIL Mary, the game could be perfect otherwise, and itll still suck. The letter, the prison scene as Maria, the final meeting... That's a lot of pressure to put on a VA, but if she goes in there and treats it like another day in the office, then screw her, Bloober for hiring her, and the horse they all rode in on

I go back and forth on if this is the greatest game of all time. For me, it's SH2 or MGS3, with honorable mentions for Dark Souls 1 and Donkey Kong Country 2.
