It looks like Duke Energy Centre
These are actually 1,400 feet per minute and the fastest elevators in the state of NC. Cesar Pelli designed this building!!!
They’re not 1400, they’re 1200. They have been confirmed by the state and are publicly listed on the state inspection data. The fastest elevator in the state is at Duke Energy with 1400 FPM TKE’s.
@@ruralelevators I thought Duke Energy was 1,200 according to TJ Elevator Fan. Skyscraper Center used to list these are 1.400. It’s possible they mixed the two buildings up. If that’s what state records indicate is the case, I would go with that.
@traction1519 yes kinda. Duke energy left the building and moved to a new building. The former Duke Energy building has been renamed to 550 S Tryon. TJ went to that place and it does have 1200 FPM TK’s. The new Duke energy building opened in 2022 and has 1400 FPM TKE’s which are the fastest in the state.

Series 4 existed since the early 90s, the wells fargo tower in Roanoke has series 4 luxuries from 1991.
Series 4 did actually exist in the Mid-Late 1990’s
