Bogg never told Jeff how much he loved him, he always took care of him and in dangerous situations he did not allow him to take risks, he loved him like a father or an older brother! I think this beautiful song of Elton John is perfect to describe this special love! Nothing in this video belongs to me neither the music nor the images. It was made for entertainment purposes.

Cazale was very ill here. Made 5 movies in his life. All won best Picture. He passed 2 months after completion of the Deer Hunter.
good movie
sickening stuff. seems real when you watch it.
Best movie ever made
This movies is pro war propaganda bullshit. What’s disgusting lie.
This movie was truly the best. Absolutely magnificent and tragic at the same time. Just simply outstanding and the acting is beyond anything ever done since. This movie was without a doubt a masterpiece!!!!!!
❤❤❤❤
They should reboot this show with Meeno Peluce as the older wiser time traveler and a new kid!
No puedo seguir viendolo.
Robert De Niro is an Excellent Actor.
hard to believe or admit that a war could destroy a country
❤❤❤❤
KEVIN TIGHE, AS ROY DESOTO, I HAVE THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON HIM!
I remember seeing this film, at the cinema, when it first came out and how struck I was with the silence of the audience as they left the auditorium.
His heart is still beating. While the soul is gone. Rest in Peace!!!

Capolavoro assoluto .
Capolavoro assoluto.
Enjoyed the movie as much as anyone else but I wouldn't call it a combat movie. The combat movies were Platoon, Hamburger Hill, Full Metal Jacket and Saving Private Ryan. Deer Hunter was more about Veterans back Home like Coming Home
A milestone...no doubt!!!
Eeee, JBG!!!? 😥😢😢😢😢
One of the best war films ever made! God bless our Veterans!
The problem with this film is that it's supposed to be set in the mid to late 1960's and everyone looks like they are in the late 1970's and the abrupt transition to the friends all coincidently meeting in Vietnam and then going directly to the POW camp together seemed odd. DeNiro also seems miscast, and the beard is out of place especially when he returns home.
Blowin' yer BRAINS out is one thing, but after watchin' this film I just feel like there's a sword stuck right thru my HEART... And I can NEVER ever pull it out. That's how much it hurts me! 😥
If you never seen this before, go watch it right now
Well said, my friend!
Godfather 1 and 2 then this in my opinion
Amazing video! The Deer Hunter is easily one of the most moving films I've ever seen!
I first recall watching bits of this when it came out on video, in those early days when in Australia at least, you paid a significant membership fee, just under $100 AUD back 1979/80 thereabouts to be able to hire video tapes. As a 10 year old, I would sneak towards the living room when I heard the loud sounds of action etc, to peak and watch my folks watching this, and other movies like Alien for instance..until I was discovered and forced back to bed! Ah, the good old days when life was much simpler! A few years later when I was able to watch the entire movie, I was deeply moved not only by the music, but by the performances imitating the real thing. I grew up from a very early age, immersed in military books and before my teens new more about military history than most adults! The emotion was so powerful, there are very few war movies that come close to being on par with 'The Deer Hunter', one being 1986's 'Platoon', and the Willem Dafoe scene, when 'Elias' is shot and killed whilst being chased by many VC, after being presumed dead (but actually only wounded), an account told by Sgt Barnes, and evidence of his lie. That musical piece 'Adagio For Strings' is only slightly more emotional to that of John Williams' score, and that is due to the orchestral strings, and the intense crescendo and high pitched violin. An incredible music score is not to be underrated, and why I am so often annoyed when everyone gets up and leaves the cinema when the final score is playing, particularly when it is emotive, and intentionally designed to decrease to 'mood' and 'feeling' of the films ending, as opposed to a harsh stop. But I guess some people 'feel' a movie, whilst others simply watch it, and do not appreciate the many layers of sound and sight. To be honest, I pity those individuals!
It was very tragic.
Truly one of the most beautiful humans (inside and out) ever RIP JEH
One of the best movies ever
One of the most haunting films you'll ever see.
Meryl Streep and oldie but a goodie so many great actors great movie
every feminist who claims to not need men should watch this movie and think twice ...
You really think so, bro? 🤔 If their half-cooked ROACHSHIT BRAINS could actually 'THINK', then they prolly wouldn't be FEMINISTS in the first place... If only they KNEW what the meaning of TRUE LOVE is, then they'd be HAPPILY MARRIED to their husbands; who would actually ENJOY raising a FAMILY together with them by now! But since that's clearly NOT the case here, then that prolly explains WHY they are goin' thru their whole entire miserable lives all alone by themselves, and growin' OLD (seriously wondering WTF happened) while harboring so much HATE for men... UM-HUM, A-HA, OKAY??? 🤨 STOMPING on men, while PRAISING women to HIGH HELL, like their SHIT don't stink! Personally, I think you could even smell their shit all the way in CAIRO!!! In the END, they just end up dyin' penniless and childless. Like seriously, WHO would even wanna be with an OLD WOMAN who has NO career, NO success, and NO friends or family to even speak of? When MEN want to be with WOMEN, they have a problem with it. When MEN want to be with MEN, they also have a problem with it. When MEN just want to be left ALONE by themselves, they STILL got a problem with it! ...Need I say MORE??? 🙄
Such an incredible film. Can we even make them like this anymore? Scorsese is doing a great job, but here was DeNiro, Walken, at their best. Streep is so beautiful in her little Streep mannerisms, it's lovely. Powerful. This film is to be absorbed and known. There will never be another like it.
Matilda II Panzer III
Too bad DeNiro degenerated into such an azzwipe.
Classic - - Up there with A Dog Day Afternoon ❤🎉
Well done, thanks for putting this together and sharing.
De Niro is a pric# in this movie
One of the greatest movies ever made
And will ever be seen...
Call it an anti-war movie but war is HELL, look what we're seeing today!!!! A beautiful but heavy heavy cinema......brings back a lot of memories too!! Lotta time and water has past by since this was 1st featured on screen. Strange seeing John Cazale at the funeral of his friend Nick in the movie when he was gone before the movie was completed......strange as life is..........
In the end, the very end, - it won't matter how physically strong you are. Your mind will always have the last word.
The definition of friendship... Mike...aka Bob Deniro...
