I haven’t played call of duty since Cold War because I got stale of the franchise until now I found the game at a yard sale for 1 dollar for ps5 so I thought that is a great entry price for me to get back into call of duty so I’ll have to see how I like it anyway great review

I have been playing listed since even before the Pacific map updates before you can play any campaign at random where you literally had only Berlin maps locked to a campaign and Stalingrad and the other original maps in campaigns. probably for the better part of two years I’ve nowhere near as sweaty as the three-year veterans, but I can’t say some of the cool things that you can unlock you’re unable to unlock anymore unless you decide to schill out money, definitely not paid to win Sure some of them are more unique and the skins are really cool looking probably a little bit more historically accurate but from the points system and how you kit out your soldier with perks is very helpful. I wouldn’t take the game very seriously or even as a competitive nature, but as a comment that I had read earlier, not paid to win pay to progress because it can be very very time-consuming and that’s why usually getting premium is recommended so it will make your pain a little bit less, especially if you value your life and time

It took like 6 years to come out, they tried to make it overwatch, but yes legacy skill still applies, which makes it harder for newcomers anyway. Basically, they should have just made it true to its original fanbase's wishes and kept it a non overwatch wannabe. Then it probably would have done better anyway. Plus it seems to have a lack of newer maps despite being played for so many years.

I played before and after the merge, before msotly soviet. Im under the impression that for allies all the matches are a steamroll for one of the sides

The guns are very well modeled, even beating MW19 with how realistic they have set them up with lasers and optics. I stopped playing this game when they added body armor to it, which made some gunfights feel slow and boring. Hopefully they got rid of it.

I love the game at most times just Changing squad members is to slow as they should do it automatically as they will kill whole squad before you can change between squad members. And yes AI still dumb as monkeys and won't fire back or defend you and then just stand there dumb founded and get killed

Helldivers 1 is still better than HD2 , feels more tactical and unique. But never got the recognition it deserved. HD2 is now mainstream and i kinda hate the community for that.

Playing CO-OP on private matches is fun as hell, and it gets rid of most of the lag as a switch player lol

If you're worried about the grind, Enlisted recently implemented economic changes that decrease the amount of Silver and Exp needed to get stuffs making the game a lot easier. It was implemented on 14th August 2024. Safe to say the grind is even more faster after the merge considering merge itself reduce the amount of grind for players by default. For the record, I grinded MP40 5 times across 5 different campaigns.

Played it last year. Was fun, but I had like 40 FPS in the intensive scenarios. Also had no interested friends in the game, so eventually just left after a week or two. I know, there are clans and cool social stuff, but it just seemed stagnant back then. Vehicles add very cool variety. Big environments and maps are a really good thing, loved that. Didn't like oversaturated tone of the skins, both armour and weapons. Teamplay is cool in general, medics heal, engeneers repair, but squads are more dynamic if you have random teammates. So yeah, cool game, unique one, but really needs some changes at this point (e.g. a sequal, a big update or smth. like that).

The main thing that damaged this game was bad marketing, the only advertisment was done at E3 before launch, the intial player base was ok but abit low in numbers for the time, as time went on that number got smaller, add in nexom going banckrupt, a few wrong dev choices and abit of missamangament of the ranked mode and the game became unsustainable, the devs did try though and at the very least, despite cutting developmente,they gave us the full game, fully free, impossible to spend money, all cosmetics for in game currency and in generall a way to still play the game. Other companys would have just pulled the plug a shut everything down
