⛪ with Ian! The gauge for this run (USGS Above Prospect) was recently discontinued for service. Flow is at more or less of its summer base. The NF Rogue is a real treat as it is spring fed and runs year round.

NF Payette (Lower 5), ID 1900 cfs 6/26/24 The Idaho highway sandbag is real! After seeing the Upper 5, I have a new goal to work towards next year. Happy to have greased this one with all the razor sharp mank.

SF Salmon (Gorge), CA (8.2 mi) 1000 cfs @ Somes Bar 6/16/24 Return to the SF gorge! Judd and I got out for what was indisputably this year's last of the Salmon flows. It's always fascinating watching river features morph from fast, puncy hydraulics to bony, technical pool-drops. I kinda beatered. My elbow has a different texture now.

Salmon River (Nordheimer), CA (6.6 mi) 2500 CFS 5/26/24 My good friend and mentor took a beating when he entered too far to the right of the bomb shelter during my first descent of Nordheimer. He ended up with a fractured maxillary and 18 stitches. It really highlighted the importance of a competent & capable safety crew, first-aid kits in every dry bag, and a full-face for those days when you'...

That is such an amazing run, thanks for bringing back the memories. And thanks to the camera person for not swimming!
this the type of shit i be watching in the background whilst smoking upon that skrong‼🔥
😂
how u like the combo of your scorch and the rewind? i’m new to hard shells. nice video drop over the last month.
They're both wicked fast boats. Creekers and half-slices are hard to compare, even within manufacturers. That said, they do have some similar characteristics. I felt a little more confident in my Antix 2.0 before I switched but the Rewind is stupid fun.
did that happen at freight train? Where did you guys end up going for medical care? thnx for posting.
Yeah, he entered too far right coming into the bomb shelter and got pushed into the pile instead of flushing left. I gave him first-aid after the incident and then he got to urgent care in Yreka.
Thanks for watching!
Fun lines in there, looks coooold.
